Various attempts have been made to reduce fuel consumption in motorized vehicles. This is done to prevent the depletion of the availability of fossil energy, especially petroleum. One of the emerging technological innovations is the Magic ring. Magic ring is a technology to reduce fuel consumption by reducing the diameter of the exhaust manifold channel with a special design. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the Magic ring on the fuel consumption of motorized vehicles (gasoline engines). This study used an experimental method on a single cylinder 110cc four-stroke gasoline motorcycle engine. This study uses three types of fuel, RON 90, RON 92, and RON 98 for fuel consumption in ml / minute, and data analysis using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study are looking for the most efficient fuel consumption in each type of fuel at 1500 rpm. The results show that there is an effect of installing a Magic ring in saving fuel consumption. Evidence of this is the increase in the value of fuel consumption savings with a percentage of 23.3% at RON 90, 21.5% at RON 92, 19.4% at RON 98. This research is a mixed methods research. Data sources came from 98 students from TKR XI, Teachers of Smk Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Data techniques include questionnaires, documentation and observation. This study uses data validity using sampling techniques and the Slovin formula. The research procedure consists of research methods, preparation of research instruments, data collection, data analysis, drawing conclusions. One example of making renewable energy is RDF. Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is a form of solid waste utilization from industry and households that has a high calorific value that can be used as a new alternative fuel. RDF is a waste treatment that is used as an alternative energy material. The materials used to make RDF in this study were coffee grounds and bagasse. To make it, coffee grounds and bagasse are mixed and an adhesive is added. The mixture ratio is 100:0, 30:70,50:50,70:30, and 0:100 for the adhesive concentration using 10%, 20%, and 30%. The finished RDF-5 was tested by testing the burn time. The test was carried out at the Mechanical Engineering Education Laboratory, FKIP UNS. The method used is the experimental method. The variables studied in this study were the independent variable, the dependent variable, and the control variable. The independent variation consisted of composition variations between coffee grounds and bagasse with the following ratios 100:0, 70:30, 50:50, 30:70, and 0:100 and variations in adhesive concentrations of 10%, 20%, and 30%. The dependent variable consists of burn time. The control variable consisted of an RDF-5 printer with a pressure of 6 kg/cm2 and the filter used with a size of 10 mesh. (3) The effect of Ferrite Bead and variations of spark plug on Torque and Power on the Yamaha Soul GT 2012 motorcycle. This research is a quantitative type using experimental methods. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research was conducted using a DYNOJET tool. The population in this research was the Yamaha Soul GT 2012 motorcycle.From this results of the research, it can be concluded: (1) The use of Ferrite Bead can increase a Torque and Power on Yamaha Soul GT 2012 motorcycle. The results without the use of Ferrite Bead produces a torque of 9,77 N.m at 4502 rpm and power of 7,23 HP at 6107 rpm, while testing using a Ferrite Bead in the middle of the spark plug wire produces a torque of 10,22 N.m at 4660 rpm and power of 7,33 HP at 5438 rpm. There was an increase in torque of 4,61% and an increase of power in 1,38 %. (2) The use of variations of the spark plugs type can increase a torque and power on Yamaha Soul GT 2012 motorcycle. The highest increase in torque and power occurs in the use of Platinum spark plugs. Test result using a Standar spark plug (C7HSA) produce a torque of 9,77 N.m at 4502 rpm and power of 7,23 HP at 6107 rpm, while testing using a Platinum spark plug (CR7HGP) obtained torque of 10,21 N.m at 4650 rpm and power of 7,33 HP at 6209 rpm, and testing using a Iridium spark plug (NGK CR6HIX) obtained torque of 10,04 N.m at 4632 rpm and power of 7,27 HP at 6466 rpm. An increase in torque on the use of platinum spark plugs by 4,5 % and power by 1,38 %. While the increase in torque on the use of iridium spark plugs is 2,76 % and the power is 0,55 %. (3) Interaction of the use of Ferrite Bead and variations of spark plugs type can increase a Torque and Power on Yamaha Soul GT 2012 motorcycle. The test results show the highest Torque and Power namely the use of Ferrite Bead in the middle of spark plugs wire and the use of Platinum spark plugs with a Torque value of 10,38 N.m at 4664 rpm and a power of 7,4 HP at 6294 rpm. This study aims to see (1) the effect of using a steam carburetor on exhaust gases on a Supra X motorcycle; (2) the effect of using variations in exhaust gas emissions on the Supra X motorcycle; (3) the effect of using steam carburetors and fuel variations on the exhaust emissions of the Supra X motorbike. This research is a research, quantitative, descriptive, comparative, with experimental methods. The research used the 2x2 method which consists of independent variables using steam and conventional carburetors as well as variations of pertalite (RON 90) and pertamax (RON92) fuel. Exhaust gas emission testing is guided by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) with three repetitions, for 20 seconds times the test The results of the study are as follows: First, the use of a steam carburetor produces lower exhaust emissions compared to conventional carburetors on a 100cc Supra X motorcycle. Second, pertalite fuel (RON 90) produces lower exhaust emissions compared to Pertamax fuel (RON 92). Measurement of exhaust emissions in accordance with SNI 09-7118.3-2005. The population in this study was a Honda Beat FI motorcycle. The sample in this study was a Honda Beat FI motorbike in 2016. The data collection technique was using purposive sampling. The research was conducted at Dishubkominfo Surakarta city using the gaz analyzer technotest. This research is a comparative quantitative research with experimental research type. This study used a 2X2 factorial research design. The sample used was the Supra X 100cc motorcycle engine in 2003 with frame number MH1KEVA153K563997 and engine number KEVAE1561218. Data obtained from exhaust emission testing using a Gas Analyzer installed on the exhaust of a 2003 Supra X 100CC motorcycle with a Conventional Carburetor and a Vapor Carburetor at idle engine speed conditions, namely 800 rpm - 1,400 rpm and variations of pertalite fuel variations (RON 90) and Pertamax (RON 92). The test time is 20 seconds after the probe on the Gas Analyzer is inserted into the exhaust. The data analysis technique used in this research is comparative quantitative descriptive. The exhaust emission test was carried out at the Surakarta Work Training Agency (BLK).The results obtained from this study are: (1) The use of the Vapor Carburetor in the Bubbling method produces lower exhaust emissions compared to the Conventional Carburetor on the Supra X 100cc motorbike in 2003. (2) The type of pertalite fuel produces less exhaust emissions in the motorcycle. appeal to Pertamax. This study used an experimental method with hydrothermal treatment. Variations used in this method are temperature variations of 180°C, 200°C, and 220°C with variations in holding times of 30 minutes and 60 minutes. To determine the fuel content of durian peels, heating values and proximate analysis were carried out to determine water content, ash content, volatile content, and carbon content. The test result showed that durian peels waste is suitable to be used as an alternative fuel that is suitable for lignite coal fuel. Magic ring a tool produced by CV. SUMI INOTECH which utilizes the overlapping process of valves. The magic ring mounted on the header exhaust manifold serves to restore exhaust gas that is wasted from the overlapping process to return to the combustion chamber so as to produce more power to push the piston and the performance of the vehicle will increase. This study used an experimental method with the research object of Yamaha Vega RR in 2014. The magic ring used was the 16 mm magic ring serial number (ASJS032125) and the same magic ring but the inner diameter was enlarged to 18 mm. Using descriptive quantitative data analysis, it was found that the use of the magic ring added torque from the standard condition of 7.42% in the use of the 16 mm magic ring and increased by 7.12% in the use of the 18 mm magic ring. The research uses an experimental method with descriptive data analysis. The research sample is the result of tin bronze alloy plus silicon. The independent variables of this research are variations in the addition of silicon 1.5%, 3%, and 4.5%. The dependent variable of this research is tin bronze alloy. The results of this research indicate that the increased elastic properties are influenced by the addition of silicon which is known from the calculation of elastic modulus that the highest is 4.5% silicon variation has increased by 21.218% from tin bronze alloy. Broken toughness through the biggest impact test on the addition of 4.5% silicon has an impact value increase of 53.793%. The addition of silicon has an effect on the mechanical properties of the alloy where the elastic properties and impact strength have increased. The resulting microstructure explains that variations in the addition of silicon have an effect on the phase formed on the mechanical properties of the alloy.
