A fully differential topology has been adopted for both LNA and AI in order to improve the circuit robustness against unwanted common mode signals. T-coil peaking is used to enhance the bandwidth of LNA over the entire UWB frequency range. AI has been used because of its low area, tunable inductance and high quality factor. The proposed LNA is designed using 90nm CMOS technology. The figure of merits of the LNA with passive inductor and with Active Inductor are analyzed and compared. This LNA achieves power gain (S 21) greater than 13dB throughout the UWB spectrum providing a 3-dB bandwidth of 2-11 GHz. The input matching (S 11) and output matching (S 22) are kept well below-20 dB and-8dB respectively, while the reverse isolation (S 12) is less than-53 dB. The noise figure of this LNA reaches 8dB due to increased number of stages and addition of Active Inductor.","PeriodicalId":232851,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Computer Networks","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128208877","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We created three topologies and each topology has a different number of links and nodes. The algorithm mechanism is to make the source node re-route the packets when failure occurs in a new path through an adjacent node. Hence, the source node will send the packet to one of the adjacent nodes, which has chosen randomly. This node will use a different path, which does not affected by the failure of the destination node. In addition, is not necessary that this secondary path be the shortest to make recovery time faster. Especially, WSN-PN allows for congestion detection on a WSN setting. Moreover, WSN-PN supports users to abstract components, which can be either sensors or channels, on the verified PN. This abstraction is possible due to the observation that in a practical situation, a reason that causes a WSN to be congested is only depending on either sensors or channels. As a result, once abstracted properly, the verification speed is improved significantly, as illustrated in our experiments.","PeriodicalId":232851,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Computer Networks","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114195682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a QoS research of Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) queue discipline on SDN paradigm based on Deterministic Network Calculus. In SDN HTB queue discipline, Network Calculus models were designed for packet classification, policing, filtering and FIFO queue scheduling, bandwidth borrowing mechanism is also discussed in Network Calculus model. In SDN topology level, controller-switch feedback model is discussed. These models were employed in a one-controller one-switch SDN network. Delays for different bandwidth and traffic load are obtained from DNC service curve and arriving curve. An SDN network was simulated in Mininet with a remote layer 2 learning switch controller and an OVS switch under specialized ping traffic. Packet delay from Network Calculus is conformant with Mininet simulation result under comparisons of each other.","PeriodicalId":232851,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Computer Networks","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114869845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Software platform has become an essential part in development of Network Management System (NMS). Modern NMS must provide high performance in terms of response time, and reduced maintenance cost. In this paper, we investigate the significance of the software quality attributes for development of three NMS prototypes in PHP, JSP and Perl. Each of these prototypes was evaluated with respect to maintainability, performance and implementation cost. JSP based NMS is on the top having low maintainability effort of 79.4 with 95% confidence interval. The prototype developed in PHP has high performance and it is ranked no 1. With the lowest implementation cost of 58 hours, prototype implementing using Perl is on the top. Based on the results, we conclude that there are tradeoffs when considering different quality attributes. The main conclusion is that the choice of software platform for NMS is dependent on the industrial preference of software quality","PeriodicalId":232851,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Advances in Computer Networks","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124326164","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
