The plots of the atmospheric-ambient temperatures against sequential time series reveals an uneven pattern in temperature exponents or changes over the period covered, with behavioral trends with high relative wind speed resulting in most precipitations. It is visualized from the results that the ambient indices are with deviance of about ±4 (cid:3) (cid:4) compared to atmospheric data. Observations also shown from our comparisons that with atmospheric temperatures at about 33 (cid:3) (cid:4) ± 4 (cid:3) (cid:4) , saturated cloud resulting in precipitations were visible. Results show that, minus the tropical average atmospheric temperature which is 18 (cid:3) (cid:4) , maximum temperature (cid:9) (cid:10) (cid:11)(cid:12)(cid:13) determining features for precipitations are about 19.5 (cid:3) (cid:4) and 17.5 (cid:3) (cid:4) in May and June respectively, prevalent for specified days under study. Rarely on clear air days with about 33 (cid:3) (cid:4) ± 0 (cid:3) (cid:4) , possible precipitation was stratified or widespread when maximum temperature (cid:9) (cid:10) (cid:11)(cid:12)(cid:13) reaching about 15.0 (cid:3) (cid:4) and 17.0 (cid:3) (cid:4) justifying human biodiversity activities in the area of study. data and interpretations of the autistics of the ge dynamics continually interfaced by human biodiversity activities. analyses concerning different variables include sample days’ events and transect fitted graphs. Initial outbreak areas are in remote semi-arid areas in the Sahara, on the Arabian Peninsula. The locust can from three to ten months and the life cycle comprises of three stages: egg, hopper (nymph) and adult. Its’ plagues have always been particularly destructive for Africa due to its ability to reproduce rapidly, migrate long distances. In east Africa, especially in Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia the locust outbreak is threatening livelihoods, food security, environment and development. The population of the Ethiopia up to 80 percent depends on agriculture for their livelihoods. The worst desert locust outbreak in 25 years is destroying crops and pasture in the country. Swarms enter into Ethiopia from Somalia through Aysha. Over 75,219 hectares of land has been affected by desert locust. Above 8.5 million people in the country have face challenges of food security and feeds due to the invasion of desert locust. The most affected regional states in are Somali, Afar and Oromia. Early warning, Noising, Smoking, Digging trenches, Chemical control and Integrated Pest Management by building up of the natural enemies are major control ways of locust invasions.","PeriodicalId":231256,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Science & Technoledge","volume":"117 25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126415600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system provides ease of access to all citizens identification registry. This system is an android based system developed and implemented with XML and java programming language. Firebase database was deployed as the database engine because of real time features. OOADM (object-oriented analysis and design methodology) was used as the choice of methodology because it is the best choice for web-based and android applications. Simple front-end validation was used to authenticate users’ entry (input of invalid characters). Google authenticator served as the thirdparty random number generator for the new unique identity number.","PeriodicalId":231256,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Science & Technoledge","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123545120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a party to the UNCEDAW, Nigeria equally domesticated the Convention and other Laws for the promotion and protection of the rights of women against domestic violence. Despite these provisions, findings indicate that the rights of women against domestic violence are inadequately protected in Nigeria. This is mainly due to ineffective implementation of the existing laws, legislation and convention as enshrined for the protection of women against violence. Various impediments such as cultural practices, illiteracy, economic, Legal and political factors havebeen identified as fundamentally affecting the efficacy of the laws bothering on the rights of women, and arefound to have contributed to the violation of women against domestic violence. Domestic violence covers various aspects of violence and harassment to which women are subjected in Nigeria. The aim of this paper is to expose these impediments confronting effective implementation of these laws. To achieve this aim, some international and domestic instruments relevant to the subject undertaken shall be reviewed with a highlight of the impact on women in Nigeria. The conclusion shall look into efforts made to integrate the CEDAW into Nigerian law. There is still a wide gap between the provisions of the laws and practice, therefore, more needs to be done to mainstream it across all policy areas and reflect the paradigm shift of women as human rights issues as reflected in the convention. It proposes among others that there is need to move from policy to implementation while steps are taken to improve the awareness about the UNCEDAW among the general public.","PeriodicalId":231256,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Science & Technoledge","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133718478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two research questions were raised to guide the study and two hypotheses were formulated and tested at .5 level of significant. The study adopted pretest– posttest non-equivalent control group design of quasi-experimental study. The population of this study comprised of all the 318 Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) III building technology students in the study area. The sample size of the study was 217 students selected using Simple Random Sampling (SRS). The instrument used to collect data for this study is School Workshop Management Achievement and Retention Tests (SWMART). The reliability coefficient value of SWMART, was determined as 0.78 using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC). The study employed the used of mean to answer the research questions and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) to test the hypotheses at significant level of 0.05. Findings revealed among others that, the students taught school workshop management using YouTube based instruction obtained higher achievement and retention mean scores than the students taught with lecture method. The study recommended among others that, administrator of colleges of education should encourage the use of YouTube based instruction among lecturers to enhanced students’ achievement and retention in school workshop management.","PeriodicalId":231256,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Science & Technoledge","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125016027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
