Andriani, Athoillah Islamy","doi":"10.18592/alhadharah.v21i1.6253","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18592/alhadharah.v21i1.6253","url":null,"abstract":"This study aims to identify the internalization process and social challenges regarding the mandatory use of the veil for the Dayah (Pesantren) Ma'hadal 'Ulum Diniyah Islamiyah (MUDI) students of the Samalanga Grand Mosque, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province. This study uses a symbolic interactionism theory approach from George Herbert Mead. The results showed that the use of the veil for Dayah MUDI students contained the meaning of the identity symbol of Islamic teachings in totality (kāffah), preventive actions from negative actions, and at the same time Islamic da'wah bi al-ḥāl. The objectification of the meaning of the veil for the students of MUDI developed through a process of social interaction constructed by the rules in the MUDI environment. Meanwhile, female students' obstacles to using the veil outside the MUDI environment, namely the individual mental factors of students, family environmental factors, and negative social stigma factors in society. The limitations of this research can also be the object of further research. Now communication can be done interactively and in real-time through digital media. Social media is a popular digital communication media used by teenagers to interact socially. The phenomenon that occurs is a change in behavior and activities of social media users, especially teenagers. The ease of accessing and exchanging information gives rise to the phenomenon of the spread of hoaxes. Kominfo revealed that there were 565,449 hoax content circulating through social media throughout 2021. This study aims to determine the impact of digital-based media literacy on the behavior of anti-spreading hoaxes among teenagers. This research uses quantitative and verification methods. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents from SMA Negeri 2 Lembang students. Samples were taken based on purposive sampling category. Data analysis used simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 20.0. This article is the result of field research with a qualitative approach and used observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. This finding state that the causes of conflicts over the construction of houses of worship for minorities in South Kalimantan are motivated by several factors, namely the different interpretations of regulations and regulations that are not fully representative. Another cause is socio-religious factors, namely, the majority of people reject the existence of houses of worship of other religions in their vicinity, some even have the view that approving the establishment of houses of worship of other religions is not justified in the Islamic faith, and is not an area of tolerance. Another factor is the politicization of religion in the contestation of regional head elections (Pilkada) and legislative elections (Pileg). Another cause is marriage due to a change of religion which raises suspicion among religious communities. Melengkan is a traditional speech that certain people can only deliver. This study raises the issue of da'wah messages in the melengkan at the wedding ceremony. This study aims to find out and find answers to the formulation of research problems: the messages of da'wah contained in the melengkan tradition, the usefulness of the melengkan, and what factors affect the delivery of the message of melengkan in the Gayo tribal wedding ceremony. The research uses a qualitative approach to the method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data processing and analysis technique was carried out in three steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. All forms of teaching and faith dissemination to the worship procedures are driven by da'wah activities. As a dynamic activity, da'wah continues to experience changes in methods and strategies that are considered effective and in line with the changing times. In the digitalization, most of religious activities have shifted to virtual spaces which are considered flexible, efficient, and more effective. Cyber religion is present as an answer to the digitalization demands in the religious sector. In addition to all its benefits, cyber religion also has a negative impact by increasing the prevalence of hate speech in the name of religion expressed by the laity to the preachers. So a special formulation is needed to stem the increasing number of religion hate speech in the virtual space. The Prophet Muhammad as a role model for the people of all time has taught and exemplified our tips for humanist da'wah so that not only transmits religious teachings, but also creating unity of the ummah. One of the areas that is currently still executing it hereditary is the Seram district in the eastern part of the Maluku province. The Muslim community of the area believes that taking a Safar bath is part of the teachings of the Islamic religion that can resist reinforcements, avoid harm and be kept away from all diseases. Based on this, the researcher is interested in knowing how the message (maudlu ') of Islamic da'wah is found in the bathing tradition of the Muslim community in eastern Seram. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, including interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted with religious leaders, community leaders, and the public who better understand the origins of taking a Safar bath. While observing, researchers directly observed the Muslim community of Eastern Seram. On the other hand, converts of Dayak Meratus generally still have many shortcomings and problems carrying out their new religion. Thus, the guidance of Dayak Meratus converts must be carried out by Muslims. It is still unclear that the guidance carried out for Dayak Meratus converts raises how the basic strategy for cultivating Dayak Meratus converts in South Kalimantan is necessary. Religion, supporting and inhibiting factors for converting. Data collection was carried out by observing, interviewing, and opening up documents that could present facts and events in the field. The interactive analysis process is in the following order: data collection, data condensation, data modeling, and describing and verifying conclusions. This research found that the convergence coaching program was made in detail by coaches who were in the field to suit field conditions. Dayak Meratus converts' religious guidance is carried out by using a family approach, warmth, meeting intensity or always being close to converts, teaching the practice of worship, muamalah, and instilling faith. The inhibiting factors for conversion are; lack of dai, converts are scattered over a wide area, it is challenging to gather at one place, the busyness of converts who make a living to a remote area.
