This paper extends the basic two-phase testing process and introduces the windowing mechanism to further improve testing efficiency. Rather than testing a large number of WS simultaneously, WS are divided into subsets called windows and testing is exercised window by window. Testing results are analyzed for different strategies such as using all of the historical data, using the most recent windows, and using the current window only. Based on the results, test cases are ranked according to their potency to detect faults; and oracles and the confidence level of each oracle are established for individual test cases at runtime. In addition, different strategies are proposed to determine the optimal window size at runtime. It boasts several billions of citizens already, and depending on how one counts, its population may grow from 20 billion to about a trillion citizens at the end of this decade. The NOMADS Republic has no borders and its growth cannot be stopped. Anyone or anything who/ that has an ID, be it a passport or a telephone number, an IP address or a product number, when connected, may become a citizen of the NOMADS Republic such as the people, the infrastructure and embedded systems (sensors and actuators including electromechanical systems such as robots). The goal of NOMADS (networks of mobile adaptive dependable systems) infrastructure is to provide low cost, dependable and adaptive connectivity to support mobility, billing and other basic functionality and services desired by clients and service providers including services composability. The NOMADS infrastructure is ubiquitous but rarely pervasive, it is autonomic and proactive and supports humans without technological aggression, trying to hide or embed technical aspects. The implementation of composable service-oriented paradigm across all types of systems is one of the key challenges in order to achieve the software reuse and ease of use by creating an ambient computing environment. This paper proposes a platform independent Web application modeling method based on template role model and MDA (model driven architecture). The basic idea of this method is to build template role models of application, and to map role model to class model through the rules of role composition and assignment, which can improve the reusability of models at different level of abstraction. Web services testing is done by 1) extracting condition and event combinations from the Web service specification; 2) ensuring that these combinations are consistent with each other; 3) performing completeness analysis to identify all the missing condition and event combinations; 4) identifying the locations where updates are needed to maintain the completeness and consistency; and 5) emphasizing on robustness testing by generating positive as well as negative test cases. An efficient algorithm called Covering Scenario Generation is proposed to identify the locations where incompleteness and inconsistency exist. The algorithm is based on the min-terms of Boolean expressions that combine multiple conditions into a single checkable item. The proposed algorithm has been experimented with several large industrial applications and the results indicated that the proposed algorithm is robust and scalable to large applications. VINCA/spl I.bar/BS approach introduces the domain analysis approaches into service modeling and uses the domain requirement commonalities to define our VINCA business service models, which are user understandable, business level reusable service abstractions omitting concrete business details. These service models can be instantiated by different business people according to their actual business requirements that consequently add new functionalities to the platform. When doing the selection, we are aware that the task is more or less a multistage decision making process. Motivated by transiently chaotic neural network high parallel performance and powerful computation ability, a new structured transiently chaotic neural network algorithm is proposed. In order to make this algorithm more adaptable for the multistage decision making problem, we propose a new structured neural network to express the composed service instead of using traditional neural networks, which minimizes the neurons involved and shows higher performance. In particular, we propose a framework for testing Web services, which can help a tester of Web services in two ways: firstly, it can help the tester to acquire effective test data; and secondly, it can help the tester to execute the test data for the testing. We also discuss some issues for the implementation of its supporting tool. Furthermore, we report an experimental study of our framework. SEWSIP can collect Web services in distributed Web environment, lift the WSDL files into OWL-S by the use of XML schema in WSDL and domain ontology, and then deploy them in P2P.
