IoT provided an environment for controlling the embedded system in the network environment. As the embedded system is connected to the network, adaptation to various environmental changes was required. Self-adaptive systems have been researched to adapt to environmental changes. Also, due to the expansion of the system, concepts for operating the multiple system have emerged. However, studies to verify self-adaptive systems are lacking. In this paper, to verify the self-adaptation of the multiple system, a heterogeneous IoT device constituting the IoT ecosystem is represented by a State Diagram-based System Model. We confirmed the conflict problem between heterogeneous IoT devices through System Model of IoT Device. In the NCW, situational awareness through tactical information sharing among all network participants is very important. Tactical data links(TDLs) are important systems for real-time tactical information distribution and command and control capabilities in the network-centric warfare. If the TDL employs frequency hopping technique for providing anti-jamming and multi-net capabilities, then it requires large bandwidth. In order to resolve the spectrum allocation problem, the previous study considered spectrum sharing with the fixed satellite services (FSS) and proposed the weighted frequency hopping (WFH) scheme to reduce pulse collision probability. However, the study did not provide how the weight parameter is determined, even if the multi-net performance is dependent on it. Therefore, in this paper, we provide a weight control method to find the weight parameter that approximately maximizes the performance. In addition, we provide a new performance metric, message error rate (MER), to show multi-net performance. Data in the untrusted clouds can be encrypted using encryption algorithm. Randomizing this data provides more security which can be achieved by padding concept in the cloud. In this paper, the user's data is encrypted using padding scheme, called Optimal Asymmetric Encryption Padding (OAEP) together with Hybrid Encryption algorithm that is based on RSA (i.e., HE-RSA), in order to allow multiple parties to compute a function on their inputs while preserving Integrity and Confidentiality. The Homomorphic Encryption(HE) is performed on the encrypted data without decrypting it in computationally powerful clouds and the Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC) can be used in the cloud to ensure security and privacy of the users. In this paper, we have proposed a scheme that integrates the multi-party computation with homomorphic encryption to allow calculations of encrypted data without decryption. There are various sewer inspection methods such as visual check, boat-type video cameras, remote robots with or without wired connection. They, however, suffer from many problems such as high labor, monetary cost of robots, long waiting time when using boat-type video cameras. Towards a low-cost, safe, and near real-time inspection of sewer pipe, we have proposed a drifting wireless camera/sensor nodes-based inspection method and identified the radio communication range in a small sewer pipe (200 mm diameter) with off-the-shelf 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g wireless LAN devices. In this paper, we investigated the effect of channel bonding introduced by IEEE802.11n and parallel data transmissions using multiple interfaces on improving the performance of wireless communication in small pipes. Measurement results revealed that can be achieved by using channel bonding when the communication distance is less than 4 m and placement of antennas is essential for ensuring a wider communication range. The switch to controller latency, in the event of a link failure, increases significantly if the failure of links are not taken into account while determining the placement of controllers in the network. We propose a capacitated controller placement strategy that recovers from a single link failure without significant increase in the worst case switch to controller latency. The goal is to deploy controllers so as minimize the worst case switch to controller latency in the event of a single link failure while satisfying capacity constraints. Moreover, we also propose a model that considers both the worst case latency with and without link failures in the objective function. We evaluated the performance of the proposed models using networks from Internet Topology Zoo and Internet 2 OS3E. Recommender systems maintain a repository of user profiles, created by a community of users, for generating personalized recommendations aimed at individual users. One of the approaches used in recommender systems is collaborative filtering (CF) which has become one of the most famous approaches for providing personalized recommendations to users. Nearest neighbors based methods used in CF are being widely used by many online stores to enhance users shopping experience. Nearest neighbors-based CF methods use some similarity measure techniques to find similar users/items for an active user/item. Almost all similarity measurement methods use ratings of commonly rated items while calculating similarity between a pair of users/items. Our approach works in the same manner as Jaccard similarity works. But Jaccard similarity does not consider the absolute value of rating and only considers the ratio of co-rated items. We take into account the ratio of absolute rating values which are equal in value, to the total no of co-rated items. An additional argument we take into account is the average rating value of users. We compared performance of our proposed method with many state-of-the-art similarity measures. In the NFV scenario, virtual switches are used to provide data exchanging services and transferring functions for Virtual Network Feature (VNF) or Virtual Machine (VM). Open vSwitch (OVS) is a high quality and widely used open source virtual switch among the existing virtual switches solutions, but the performance of OVS can't meet the current Gigabit network forwarding demands. To overcome this limitation, the Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) has been integrated in OVS to exploit the capabilities of bypassing the kernel space to achieve high performance. But the current OVS-DPDK temporarily does not support the TCP-Segment-Offload (TSO) feature, so the large packet fragmentation needs to be completed by the CPU of the VM. In addition, it is not convenient for the OVS-DPDK to be deployed in different environments and the secondary development is also more cumbersome. In this paper, we combine OVS-DPDK with a lightweight virtualization technology Docker. And further, we enable the TSO feature. Generally, clustering method of PV power data analyzes only the meaning of each cluster, so it is difficult to grasp the similarity between clusters. In this paper, clustering of PV power data through hierarchical clustering algorithm is performed to calculate the relationship between clusters. The hierarchical clustering method was used to analyze the similarity of PV power data between clusters.
