Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communications can be used for cooperation among vehicles or between a roadside unit and vehicles for realizing cooperated autonomous vehicles. However, since vehicles always move, the quality of the received signals is fluctuated depending on the number of vehicles, the distance of the communicated vehicles, surrounding building structures, and geolocation. In this paper, we consider reliable V2V/V2I communications, which adaptively selects adequate parameters for improving communication efficiency by checking the surrounding environment using the spectrum environment map. Here the spectrum environment map is generated by collected surrounding environment information observed at distributed vehicles.","PeriodicalId":228799,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Information Networking (ICOIN)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124865652","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While most accidents merely affect the exterior of the cars of the drivers involved, some of them have led to serious and fatal injuries. It is imperative that the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are given as much information about the crash site as possible before their arrival at the scene. In this paper, a mobile phone application is developed that, when placed inside a car, intelligently classifies the type of accident it is involved in and notifies the EMS team of this classification along with the car's GPS location. The classification mechanism is built through a collection of data sets from a simulation of three types of collisions, which creates a knowledge base for an artificial intelligence-based classifier software. The experimental setup for data collection and the functionality of the mobile phone application called ‘Crash Detect’ are explored.","PeriodicalId":228799,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Information Networking (ICOIN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129865386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In CoAP, since the sensor and the server communicate with each other on a one-to-one basis, the load on the server will increase as the number of sensors increases. To overcome this limitation of CoAP, there is a simple extension of the CoAP using a clustering approach: cluster-based CoAP for message queueing. In this paper, we propose an enhanced cluster-based CoAP scheme for efficient gathering of sensing data. By using a cache memory on the cluster head, the communication performance can be improved in the IoT networks. From testbed experimentation of the enhanced cluster-based CoAP, we can see that the proposed scheme provides better performance than the CoAP and existing cluster-based CoAP scheme, in terms of bandwidth utilization. In addition, the load given to sensor can be alleviated with the help of the proposed scheme.","PeriodicalId":228799,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Information Networking (ICOIN)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128978842","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we introduce a more reasonable standardized method called the NNEF. Neural Network Exchange Format (NNEF) is one of the standardized methods of neural network. Neural network graph defined by NNEF is possible to exchange various neural network configuration platform. Accordingly, NNEF provides the simple process of using constant format to create a network and train network, and it has a significant impact on configuring neural network used in cross-platform. Tensorflow framework is the most common and widely adopted today. The Tensorflow provide independent frameworks for neural network configuration. In TensorFlow frameworks, artificial neural networks are represented by computational graphs. In addition, represented data (tensor) are shared among nodes. Therefore, a standardized method is desired because the method of representing a computational graph in each framework is all different. This paper introduces the Neural Network Exchange Format (NNEF) at first and then presents the purpose of such an exchange format, i.e., enabling neural network training in deep learning frameworks to be executed in a standardization manner. The aim of this approach is to describe neural network computations in a platform independent manner, while enabling the possibility for inference engines to highly optimize the run-time execution.","PeriodicalId":228799,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Information Networking (ICOIN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121359939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, conventional frequency hopping schemes have not considered an access protocol between control signal of rendezvous scheme and the signal caused by the channel access from the other systems. Also they do not consider a way of information sharing for reaching a consensus between master and slave terminals. This paper considers a modified rendezvous scheme based on learning-based channel occupancy rate (COR) estimation, and describes a specific channel-access rule in the slave terminal with inferring the probability of accessing channel in slave. We clarify the effect of modified rendezvous scheme by computer simulation.","PeriodicalId":228799,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Information Networking (ICOIN)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121370923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These areas are often bounded by fences in order to prevent the unauthorized passage. In this application, the fence of some kind of area (e.g. estate, motorway) is supplied with a network of autonomous, cooperative accelerometer sensors. As a result, the natural or intentional damage to the fence or any other kind of rare events can be detectable. ADXL345 accelerometers and Texas Instruments CC430 microcontrollers (equipped with on-board radio interface) were used for the implementation, because these devices support advanced power management. An efficient, reliable and low power consumption wireless network communication protocol has been designed based on SimpliciTI libraries combined with a user-friendly alarm signal transmission system, which could be monitored and controlled remotely. One-dimensional fences were assumed, so the sensors form a chain topology. If a node starts an alarm, the signal must be forwarded by the adjacent units at first. Thus, the transmitted message goes point by point to the center host.","PeriodicalId":228799,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Information Networking (ICOIN)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115471827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Proposed protocol calculates the neighbor nodes parameters including energy level and link quality. It further balances the energy consumption and minimizes the data delay and maximizes the data delivery in the network.
