This research is concentrated on medical prescription recommendation. According to the statistics of Department of Health, diabetes was the top ten of death in Taiwan. Therefore, developing an effective treatment for diabetes is very important. The purpose of this study is to develop a decision support system to assist a doctor to make more appropriate decision in selecting drugs. We first built the ontology of diabetic knowledge and compute medication by multiples criteria decision making method (MCDM). The entropy was used to compute data of patient's history and then take this result to integrate medicine knowledge ontology to list appropriate medications. Finally, more suitable medications are recommended to doctors. Primary experiments proof our method is useful.","PeriodicalId":228516,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114703447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Generalized trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are applied on data analysis, artificial intelligence, and decision making widely. Until now, if we want to find the optimization of a fuzzy equality, usually we have to defuzzify the operation result of the fuzzy equation. Therefore, we have to find a nice defuzzifing method. Here we use the graded mean integration representation method for representing a generalized trapezoidal fuzzy number. We also have proved some representing properties of generalized trapezoidal fuzzy numbers after the fuzzy arithmetical operations with Second Function Principle. The results show that this representation method is better than other methods. Moreover, we use this representation value to define the ranking, distance, similarity absolute value, and fuzzy distance as a excellence ideas.","PeriodicalId":228516,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115817904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in order to avoid detection and analysis, malware creators usually deploy packing techniques to achieve their goals. This kind of packing technique hides import table of program file, so that people can neither understand how to assembly code nor learn the structure of the PE file. Recently, Institute for Information Industry (III) developed the CSS technique which can be used to unpack PE file from the memory. Subsequently, we proposed a reconstructive method base on CSS to rebuild the dumped file which then can be executed correctly. The combination of CSS and the reconstructive method is named Restoring Packed Executable File (RePEF), which can be used to automatically reverse the packed PE file (UPX and ASPack) immaterial of running on either Windows or Linux platform. RePEF can also improve and ensure the successful rate of malware detection and dynamic analysis.","PeriodicalId":228516,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115409303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many and many technology problems in the decision of intelligent dispatch. Among of these problems, how to list the busy station is very important to design the location of storehouses. Now, there are near 4000 stations in Hangzhou. In this paper, a new data classification method is used to recognize the busy station, which is called Support vector machine (SVM). The original model is a quadratical programming with linear inequalities constraints. In order to get the optimal solution, a new solution method is proposed. The constraints are moved away from the original optimization model by using the approximation solution in the feasible space. Three points under one control parameter smoothing function is used to smoothen the objective function of unconstrained model. It is a sixth order polynomial function. The smoothing performance is investigated. Actually, the busy stations can be recognized from the given data set.","PeriodicalId":228516,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123111362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The neural controller utilizes a wavelet neural network to approximate an ideal second-order sliding-mode controller and the smooth compensator is designed to guarantee the system stability without occurring chattering phenomena. Moreover, to speedup the convergence of the tracking error, a proportional-integral-derivative type adaptation tuning mechanism is derived based on Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the proposed AWNNC method is implemented on a field programmable gate array chip and is applied to a DC motor to show its effectiveness. The experimental results verify the system stabilization and the favorable tracking performance can be achieved by the proposed AWNNC system even under the change of the command trajectory and frequency.","PeriodicalId":228516,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123160942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A communication mechanism on peer-to-peer structure is introduced in this paper. In this communication mechanism, nodes can join (and leave) at any time, and only the adjacent nodes respond to the request messages, thus the network traffic is reduced greatly compared to that in the flooding mechanism. Furthermore, a self-adaptive dynamic load-balancing algorithm is introduced based on this communication mechanism.","PeriodicalId":228516,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123016026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel technique, resource — limited intelligent photo management (RIPM), on the demand of reducing the complexity of computation on Android mobile platform, in which photos captured are analyzed directly in JPEG compressed domain and are further classified in a real-time manner based on the human subject's gender. In order to make the system robust to luminance variations, DC coefficients are discarded. In addition, for the low-complexity purpose and the effective gender discrimination, a set of AC coefficients are selected automatically based on a three-step dimensionality reduction, in which evaluation of the coefficients' significance is conducted by LDA-based approach. Experimental results obtained by using extensive dataset captured under uncontrolled environments show that our system is effective for photo managements on resource-limited mobile platform.","PeriodicalId":228516,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122078845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
