An analysis of the noise characteristics of counterflow natural draft cooling towers and dry fans cooling towers of steam turbine and steam-gas thermal power plants of various capacities is presented. The noise from natural draft counterflow cooling towers is due to the noise of falling water. The noise from dry fans cooling towers is due to the noise of the fans. In the Automated workplace Acoustics program, mathematical models of thermal power plants with counter-flow natural draft cooling towers and dry fans cooling towers were built and an acoustic calculation was performed. As a result of the calculations, the sound pressure levels were found at the border of the sanitary protection zone for octave bands from 31.5 up to 8000 Hz. The change in the excess of sanitary standards for the noise factor impact during the operation of the considered cooling towers, depending on the power of the station, is shown. It was found that for fans cooling towers the greatest excess of the maximum permissible sound pressure levels is observed at the low and middle part of the spectrum, and for counterflow cooling towers with natural circulation - in the high-frequency spectrum. The values of the required level reduction for different types of cooling towers have been determined. The required noise characteristics of dry cooling tower fans have been established, which provide the required noise level at the border of the sanitary protection zone. The article suggests possible measures to reduce the noise of “dry” fans of cooling towers when it is impossible to install “silent” fans.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125870496","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method is based on a finite element models developed in the FE analysis programs, in a module that allows to solve problems in the formulation of Explicit Dynamics and CFD. The adequacy of the model was verified by comparing the results obtained from the conducted field experiments, based on the result of which regression models were compiled and exponential dependences were obtained, which made it possible to determine the value of the maximum residual stresses and surface roughness. Comparison of the numerical and field experiments showed that the discrepancy does not exceed 12.7% over the entire range of processing modes used in the field experiment.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129098601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, in addition to model tests, numerical modeling methods are also used in the design of ships. The designed vessels must comply with international noise emission standards. The level of emitted noise, in addition to mechanisms and propulsion systems, can also be influenced by the shape of the projected vessel. This report provides a calculation example of hydrodynamic and acoustic characteristics of the body with cavity using numerical modelling with the help of eddy-resolving approaches in the hydrodynamics task and acoustic analogy in the acoustics tasks.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129011008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the most promising means of technology equipment geometry control in the digital economy condition is a laser tracker. The robotic incremental sheet forming process provides the necessary flexibility and profitability due to a very flexible tool chain. In this case, the trajectory of the universal tool is set using a processing program determined by the product geometry. The technological equipment geometry control of the robotic complex for incremental sheet forming was carried out in 2 stages. At the first stage, the measurements were carried out manually in the absolute range measuring system mode. At the second stage, a dynamic measurement of the blank plane displacement was carried out automatically in the interferometer mode during forming process. It was shown that the largest slipway deviation is more than 1 mm and it occurs in the direction of the main application of force, i.e. in the product manufacture depth. This value can have a serious impact on the manufacturing parts geometry accuracy. Based on the measurement results, it can be concluded that it is necessary to increase the frame rigidity, either by adding additional fasteners, or by using more rigid materials of its construction.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"2010 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127353838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A complex approach, which will be discussed further in the text of the article, makes it possible to achieve high accuracy in the transfer of the original bone contour while simultaneously achieving high strength characteristics. The implementation of the approach is ensured by working closely with finite element analysis programs. Of particular relevance to the topic is the fact that in cases of bone tissue transplantation to the sites of remote affected areas of the bones, the original shape can be significantly destroyed. Also, often the strength characteristics of grafts can be much inferior to those of the bone itself.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134634022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies have currently been conducted on the further development of this problem solving. The main objective of this study is to show that the formation of acoustic boundary layer near surface of a solid leads to additional process of acoustic energy dissipation appearance. The coefficients of reflection and passage of the sound wave become complex, it leads to the appearance of additional phase shifts in the reflected and refracted waves.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121887419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the facilities of PJSC “Gazprom”, gas-compressor units with gas-turbine engines DU80 and DN80 with a power of 25 MW manufactured by “Zorya-Mashproekt” company are used. These GTEs are characterized by a certain imperfection of the design and poor embodiment of the blade apparatus of the 3rd and 4th stages of the low-pressure compressor (LPC), which entails premature exit of the engines from operation and increased repair costs. Measuring device PRIZ-1 developed by Samara University is briefly described, which was used to research the vibration characteristics of the rotor blades of the 3rd and 4th stages of the LPC of GTE DN80 in the conditions of the test bench of PJSC “Tyumenskie Motorostroiteli”. The article presents the results of the performed non-contact measurements of the deformational state parameters of the 3rd and 4th blade stages of LPC of the GTE DN80: the static position of the blades; amplitudes of bending oscillations of the blades; gaps between the blade tips and the inner surface of the housing; amplitudes of torsional oscillations of the blades; changes in the twist angle of the blades. Examples of visualizations of the measured parameters are presented. The results of research of the vibration characteristics of LPC blades will be used in the process of design and technological works aimed at fine-tuning, increasing the reliability of the blade apparatus and increasing the overhaul life of the DN80 gas turbine engine.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129929079","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research is a part of the major research devoted to studying the factors affecting the noise and vibration characteristics of pumps and compressors, which is conducted by Chelyabinsk Compressor Plant LLC in collaboration with the Department of Hydraulics and Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems of South Ural State University. The relevance of the research is determined by the lack of clear standardized guidelines for ensuring the quality of alignment, and in some cases their obsolescence and the inability to meet the national standards or customer requirements. In research, a specialized laser alignment system equipped with software with its recommendations for misalignment tolerances was used to ensure the reliability of the alignment of the unit coupling. Sound power was evaluated in accordance with GOST R ISO 3744 and vibration velocity was evaluated in accordance with GOST ISO 10816–3 and GOST 32106. The results show that at a constant speed and power consumption of the pump unit, there are both the lower critical tolerance, at which further reduction of misalignment to zero values is unreasonable, and the upper critical tolerance, at which unpredictable vibration and noise occur. Upon that, the angular misalignment has the most significant influence on the vibration level.","PeriodicalId":227980,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Dynamics and Vibroacoustics of Machines (DVM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128220118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
