IC packages were taken off from printed wiring boards, and these IC packages are DIP (dual in-line package) type having two lines of pins sealed with resin composition such as epoxy resin. IC package is composed of IC chips, metal lead frame, and sealing material, the content of metal is different depending on types of IC package, and lead frame are categorized into Fe-Ni alloy, Fe-Ni-Co alloy, and Cu alloy according to contained metal. Packaging material made by hardening mixture of thermosetting resin and quartz powder was crashed easily. In fact, the Tizapa Mine is the first example in Mexico developed by+using this technology.Following the discovery of the deposit by Consejo Recurso de Mineral (CRM) in 1977, exploration was carried out as an Official Development Assistance project between the Mexican and Japanese governments through CRM and Japan International Cooperation Agency/Metal Mining Agency of Japan in 1987. After an international tender offered by Mexican government, the result of the project was succeeded as the development of the Tizapa Mine by Minera Tizapa, S. A. de C. V., a private joint venture company, among Dowa Mining Co., Ltd., Sumitomo Corporation and Industrias Penoles, S. A. de C. V., which is the leading Mexican mining company and the largest silver producer in the world.The development of the Tizapa Mine has been very successful by mutual cooperation among the parties and now the production is reached at 25, 000 tonnes per month, crude ore. Fujimoto","doi":"10.2473/SHIGENTOSOZAI.113.833","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2473/SHIGENTOSOZAI.113.833","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of the present investigation is to theoretically analyze the flow characteristics of the air-lift pump for the case where a transitional process from the solid-liquid two-phase mixture flow to the solid-gasliquid three-phase mixture flow by injecting gas-phase into the upriser through a gas-injector is present. The system of equations governing the liquid-solid two-phase mixture flow consists of two mass conservation equations, two momentum conservation equations and an equation for two-phase volume fractions. Again, the gasliquid-solid three-phase flow field after the position of gas injection is solved by three mass conservation equations, three momentum equations, a gas equation of state and an equation for the individual phase volume fractions. The transitions of the flow pattern of gas phase from the bubbly flow to the slug flow and from the slug flow to the churn flow are taken into account in the system of governing equations of three-phase flow. In order to verify the validity of the system of governing equations accounting for the transition of the flow patterns, the flow characteristics calculated on the basis of the present theoretical model have been compared with experimental data by several other investigators.
