In simple terms, safety should be treated as the absence of threat throughout the entire life cycle of an anthropogenic object. Help in eliminating or reducing threats can be provided by applied sciences, which are focused on transferring knowledge about the surrounding world, diagnosing and understanding phenomena, problems and social processes, and the combination of achievements in safety engineering and applied sciences can give satisfactory results. The article proposes a model that takes into account safety engineering issues in the life cycle of an anthropogenic object using the achievements of applied sciences.","PeriodicalId":227499,"journal":{"name":"Inżynieria Bezpieczeństwa Obiektów Antropogenicznych","volume":"293 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139342371","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An insulating plaster based on perlite was tested. Its thermal conductivity, vapor permeability and compression strength were determined. Images of the tested plaster under the microscope, at a magnification of 10-45x, were also taken. Through computer simulations, the possibility of improving the energy efficiency of an educational building by applying a layer of such plaster on external walls was determined. Changes in the heat loss structure were analyzed, and the obtained results were compared with the effectiveness of reducing heat loss through the walls using a traditional thermal insulation material. It turned out that the thermal conductivity coefficient of the tested plaster obtained by measurement was 0.0877 W/(m∙K), which confirmed the value declared by the manufacturer. Application of thermal insulating plaster with a thickness of 5 cm on the walls of the analyzed building, with other partitions of good thermal quality, reduced its energy demand by over 20%.","PeriodicalId":227499,"journal":{"name":"Inżynieria Bezpieczeństwa Obiektów Antropogenicznych","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129555497","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, it indicates that there is a possibility to stop the current trend of unfavorable changes and transform the climate into a more friendly phenomenon for people and their planet. First of all, anthropogenic CO2 emissions should be brought below net zero, and emissions of other greenhouse gases should be reduced as much as possible. This requires focusing on the development of a low-emission economy as well as circular economy and RES, as well as continuous improvement of the natural environment and a rational end to the war between Russia and Ukraine and the creation of sensible conditions for common security in the \"global village\". \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":227499,"journal":{"name":"Inżynieria Bezpieczeństwa Obiektów Antropogenicznych","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125464609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These objects are classified as geotechnical category II or III and a ground investigation documentation or geotechnical design should be carried out for them. The correct investigation of the soil, design, and execution in accordance with technical knowledge, the art of construction and the Building Code are a guarantee of the safety of the facility. However, very often it is the complexity of the geological structure, concentrated vertical and horizontal loads transferred by the supports to the soil that make it necessary to use deep foundations, special methods of soil reinforcement and imposing a special technological regime during the execution of construction works. The paper pays attention to anthropogenic and natural factors, as well as those that are the consequence of inappropriate human actions at the design or execution stage. Particular attention is paid to errors in the soil analysis and execution of construction works. An example of such errors analysis is presented in relation to the implementation of a bridge structure.","PeriodicalId":227499,"journal":{"name":"Inżynieria Bezpieczeństwa Obiektów Antropogenicznych","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129619940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, it was pointed out that achieving this neutrality allows to achieve a net-zero level of CO2 emissions, as well as significantly reduces the emission of other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. In order to more fully illustrate the issue of climate change inhibition adopted for analysis in this article, the basic concepts, characteristics of the essence of circular economy and individual types of RES were defined, and it was also shown that the use of these methods in broadly understood human activity is necessary to achieve zero net CO2 emissions, which creates opportunities to stop \"extreme climate madness\". \u0000The purpose of this article is to present the role of circular economy and renewable energy sources in achieving climate neutrality of human activity, as well as the influence of Putin's imperial policy on the course of this process.","PeriodicalId":227499,"journal":{"name":"Inżynieria Bezpieczeństwa Obiektów Antropogenicznych","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134500864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analyzed tanks were designed for the storage of zoonotic fertilizers. Solid or semi-liquid fertilizers should be stored in livestock premises in sealed tanks, protected from leakage into the ground. Basic static schemes of tanks and types of loads acting on tanks were considered. The durability and leak-tightness of the tanks were also addressed, and the insulation used to protect the walls and bottom plate of the tanks was discussed. A computational example presents the values of loads acting on the various elements of the tank at two computational schemes, and compares the results obtained by two computational methods, i.e., the separated plate method and the finite element method. The discrepancies in the obtained results were pointed out. Recommendations were formulated for the design of tanks in terms of meeting the tightness criterion. FEM calculations were made for two cases: with and without consideration of the soil stiffness.","PeriodicalId":227499,"journal":{"name":"Inżynieria Bezpieczeństwa Obiektów Antropogenicznych","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121721765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
