However, for some patients, it takes a long time to adapt the new complete denture. In this case, the patient came to the hospital at the address of wanting to remake dentures due to wear and tear. After diagnosis through clinical and radio-logical examination, the maxillary complete denture and mandibular removable partial denture were remade. The patient complained whistling /s/ sound at the first check-up after placement of the new denture. The anterior palatal area of polished surface of the new maxillary complete denture was concave comparing to old denture, and this was the cause of the whistling /s/ sound. A tissue conditioning material was applied to the maxillary complete denture and patient made /s/ sound. The tissue conditioning material was replaced with self-curing type denture base resin, and the patient was immediately satisfied with clear /s/ sound. As an objective assessment, palatogram and speech analytics software was applied. In this case, a patient who received denture treatment complaining of difficulty in pronunciation underwent immediate denture repair, which resulted in patient satisfaction and improved pronunciation through objective evaluation. However, one-piece type mini-implant showed biological and technical complications, such as peri-implantitis by residual cement and prosthetic detachment. Recently, one-piece type mini-implant with additional retentive structure has been introduced to increase the retention and stability of the mini-implant. The mini-implant is based on spreading the upper retentive structure with a spreader and connected it with the inner surface of the zirconia prosthesis. In two cases, we tried to reduce these complications through the mini-implant on the narrow mandibular anterior region, and it was possible to reduce the overall treatment period through a digital system. In this case report, restoration using the digital mini-implant system showed improvement of patient satisfaction on the aspect of function and esthetic in the narrow mandibular anterior region. Especially, poor oral hygiene around implants is one of the most common reasons for implant failure. When implant prosthesis fails to function, the clinician should re-diagnose and plan treatment using the remaining implants. Additional implantation may be needed to make a new type of prosthesis or either implant-assisted RPD and implant overdenture treatment may be performed using the remaining implants. In this article, a patient whose fixed implant prosthesis in the maxilla had failed of poor oral hygiene maintenance was reported to be recovered with removable implant overdenture by using remaining implant abutments and a milled bar with additional retentive elements. Through this treatment, the clinical results were satisfactory in terms of esthetics, masticatory function recovery and oral hygiene management. Recently in digital dentistry, the importance of superimposing various 3-dimensional (3D) image data is emerging, in order to utilize gathered data effectively for diagnosis and prosthesis fabrication. Integrating data from facial scans, intraoral scans, and mandibular movement recordings can create a virtual patient. A virtual patient is formed by integrating digital 3D diagnostic data such as intraoral and extraoral soft tissues, residual dentition, and dynamic occlusion, and the results of prosthetic treatment can be evaluated virtually. The patients in this case report were a 37-year-old female whose chief complaint is that the appearance of the existing prosthesis was distorted and a 55-year-old female patient whose anterior prosthesis needed to be refabricated after the endodontic treatment. 3D facial scans were obtained from each patient, and the patient’s mandibular movements were recorded using ARCUS Digma 2 (KaVo Dental GmbH, Biberach an der Riss, Germany). The collected data were integrated on computer-aided design (CAD) software (Exocad dental CAD; exocad GmbH, Darmstadt, Germany) and transferred to a virtual articulator to create a digital virtual patient. The temporary fixed prostheses were designed, restored, and evaluated, and it was reflected into the final restorations. With the aid of the virtual dental patient, accuracy and predictability could be increased throughout treatment, simplifying the occlusal adjustment and clinical evaluation with improved esthetic outcomes. When the existing dentures were used, the vertical dimension was reduced, the maxillary complete denture lacked lip support and retention, and the mandibular overdenture lacked clip retention due to damage to the bar attachment. After re-moving the damaged bar attachment, it was replaced with a ball attachment, and impressions were taken using the DENTCA TM Tray and then the vertical dimension was measured. The gothic arch tracing was performed to record the centric relation. Obtained impressions were scanned and the shape of final dentures was designed using software and try-in dentures were fabricated using 3D printer. After evaluating the occlusal plane, occlusal relationship, facial shape, and pro-nunciation using the try-in dentures, the bite registration was recorded, and the final denture was manufactured based on this. The inner surface of the denture was adjusted and bilateral balanced occlusion was formed, and the housing was connected to the mandibular denture by a direct method. In this clinical case, using a digital technology, an implant placement and prosthetic restoration were done in a patient who has lost maxillary and mandibular molars. Following an intraoral scan, a surgical stent for implant surgery was fabricated based on digital diagnostic wax-up, and implants were installed. After six months of suffi-cient osseointegration, customized abutments and the first temporary prostheses were delivered. Then two months later, at an abutment level, an intraoral scan and digital facebow transfer device were used to mount the intraoral scan data on a virtual articulator, and record the mandibular movements. Once the second temporary prostheses were fabricated and delivered on a basis of the mandibular movement, the definitive zirconia prostheses were designed and delivered based on a stabilized occlusion that was duplicated via double scan technique.
