Two bidirectional (2Q) Zeta DC-DC converters are connected in differential cascade mode to provide the single phase rectifier-inverter operation of the proposed circuit. The high frequency duty cycle Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control of four switches of the proposed circuit provides inverter (DC-AC) operation in one direction. It works as a rectifier (AC-DC) in the other direction. In inverter mode the circuit provides simultaneous f/v control with near sinusoidal output voltage. In rectifier mode the circuit provides regulated AC-DC conversion with input active Power Factor Correction (PFC) and input current shaping facility. In both rectifier and inverter modes of operation the voltage/current gains may be either up (boost) or down (buck).","PeriodicalId":224903,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115388766","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The recurrent neural network formalism has been implemented to extract the underlying dynamics from time series microarray datasets accurately. The proposed swarm intelligence framework has been used for optimising the parameters of the recurrent neural network model. Preliminary research with the proposed methodology has been done on a small, artificial network and the experimental (in vivo) microarray data of the SOS DNA repair network of Escherichia coli. Results obtained suggest that the proposed methodology can infer the underlying network structures with a better degree of success.","PeriodicalId":224903,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114966589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At first, we define perfect secrecy capacity in terms of secure outage probability and provide a complete characterization of the maximum transmission rate at which the eavesdroppers are unable to decode any information. Then, we find the average secrecy capacity for multicasting in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. Finally, we find the closed-form expression for the secure outage probability to investigate the secure outage performance of Weibull fading SISO channel in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers and simulated ergodic secrecy multicast capacity for different fading parameters to observe the effect of diversity on the fading parameter.","PeriodicalId":224903,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116122861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parameters of DC motor are considered as unknown and the external disturbances are incorporated into the dynamical model. The proposed controller is designed in such a way that it is adaptive to the unknown parameters of series DC motor and robust to external disturbances. The unknown parameters are estimated through the adaptation laws and the convergences of these adaptation laws are obtained through the negative semi-definiteness of control Lyapunov functions (CLFs). The proposed controller not only provides robustness property against external disturbances but also overcomes the over-parameterization problem which usually appears in some conventional adaptive methods. Finally, the performance of the proposed controller is tested on a MATLAB simulation model. The performance of the proposed scheme is compared with that of an existing backstepping controller where the external disturbances are neglected. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller in terms of rejecting external disturbances.","PeriodicalId":224903,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE)","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132970055","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Maintaining higher throughput in arithmetic operations is important to achieve the desired performance in many real-time applications. One of the key arithmetic operations in such applications is to achieve faster multiplication. Vedic Mathematics is one of the fast and low power multiplier. In the present paper, area, delay and power of a Vedic multiplier is taken into consideration for the comparison. The results that were taken for comparison has previously done and here that results were constituted in this paper for comparative study to choose the better adder. These parameters are compared for different adders such as Carry look ahead adder(CLA), Carry select adder(CSLA), Ladner Fischer adder(LFA), Brent Kung adder(BKA), Kogge Stone adder(KSA) and compressors in Vedic multiplier. The number of adders can be minimized by using special adders called compressors which can add more number of bits at a time. This paper gives information of Urdhva Tiryakbhyam algorithm of Vedic Mathematics which is utilized for multiplication to improve the speed and area of multipliers. The power consumption of vedic multiplier depends on the type of the adder used so a comparison which has already done in RTL Cadence compiler is taken for the comparative study here.","PeriodicalId":224903,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116079550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the adulteration of pure juice has now become a common practice. Adulteration ranges in sophistication from simply diluting juice with water to adding sugar, the adulterant that is most difficult to detect. Introducing these ingredients is not illegal; however, knowingly selling the resulting product as pure juice constitutes fraud. Here, the sample orange juice samples (pulpy orange) has been taken from coca cola brand. By forming samples phase data into matrix form at different frequencies in Constant phase (property of electrode-electrolyte interface of Polymer coated Copper probe dipped in ionic solution) region as well as data taken at different time. Euclidean distance from any unknown sample with the given known samples has been calculated using LDA algorithm. The sample with shortest distance will show the best maximal characteristics of the unknown sample. The MATLAB software has been used for the whole calculation and discrimination plotting of data.","PeriodicalId":224903,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124962094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed design is compared against an equivalent synchronous single bit filter designed using conventional Boolean logic in terms of power, performance and area. The circuit exhibits correct operation even within the variability-prone near/sub-threshold region. As a result it is able to operate with greatly reduced supply voltages to achieve a low value of power-delay product. The example implementation using 130nm technology achieves a power reduction of 5X, compared to a traditional synchronous filter design with similar performance targets.","PeriodicalId":224903,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE International WIE Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (WIECON-ECE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129103332","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
