This was used for the correct navigation of the vehicle which participated in the Robocar race competition. Calibration methods have been implemented (for the accelerometer and gyroscope) with a practical approach, so that it can be implemented before the start of the race in real time. The Kalman filter was simulated to determine the influence of the variation of the parameters that intervene in the Kalman filter equations. The response of the instrumentation to the disturbances was improved, which leads to an adequate estimation of the orientation.","PeriodicalId":223855,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126218045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main disciplines of this process are the analysis, design and implementation of the domain. The process proposed here can be used in the software production line development approach and can be instantiated for a specific domain and the produced software assets can be reused to generate a product from a particular domain family. The concepts of: development processes, reuse of software assets, domain engineering, variability models, software production lines and Bayesian learning techniques are applied to define the way in which these applications are adapted at runtime to the applications. environment changes. These software variability and adaptability requirements represent an interesting challenge within software engineering.}{The contribution of this paper to the area of software development based on software production lines is to propose a process for domain engineering with a quality approach that will allow the specification of the quality requirements of the domain application families to be formalized, presenting details about the activities of analysis, design and implementation of the base architecture and its refinement.","PeriodicalId":223855,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"2008 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128046750","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We investigate the genetic algorithms focus on the relationship of the individuals in each iteration and how the network emerge. The results are promising related to the complex networks properties and show that the Differential Evolution match with the small world networks. We model how the complex network connected component property seems to have relationship with fitness quality in the Imperialist competitive algorithm. The platform imposes several challenges that span different disciplines of Electronics Engineering, including computer vision techniques for detecting and tracking the position of the ball and players in the table, estimation algorithms for predicting the movement of the ball, and control algorithms for moving the rod that holds the player. Besides, the characteristics of the application impose stringent requirements in terms of precision and processing speed, which requires an adequate choice of the software and hardware for the communication, storing, and processing of data in real-time. The developed platform will serve in teaching and research activities in the context of modern cyber-physical systems, inclu- ding the experimental characterization and validation of machine learning, control, estimation and computer vision algorithms, and the integration and evaluation of specialized computing platforms for accelerating computationally intensive processes. Moreover, because of the popularity of foosball tables, this experimental setup serves as an ideal platform for outreach activities related to STEM in non-academic audiences.","PeriodicalId":223855,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128850609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Solving this problem necessarily involves an optimal use of this resource, starting from the pumping. Determining the water pumping regime to meet the demands of a city is a multi-objective complex problem. One of the steps to solve this problem is assessing which multiobjective optimizer has better performance. In this work, we provide a methodology for the comparison of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms in the water pumping regime optimization problem through the combination of the EPANET and the jMetal framework. Both were validated in the comparison of NSGA-II, SPEA2, and SMPSO to optimize the pumping regime on the water distribution networks Van Zyl, Baghmalek, and Anytown. The quality indicators Spread, Epsilon, and Hypervolume, allow assessing the superiority/competitivity statistically of one method over others in terms of solutions’ convergence and distribution. The experimental results show that the combination of EPANET and jMetal provide the ideal environment to perform MOEAs comparisons effectively.","PeriodicalId":223855,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"22 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126080533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
