Morphology to observe the surface using an optical microscope and determine the formed phase using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The longer the immersion of the sample with the inhibitor, the better the adsorbed inhibitor and the lower the corrosion rate. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak enam titik di sepanjang aliran sungai di Kota Solok. Identifikasi dilakukan berdasarkan parameter temperatur, konduktivitas listrik, pH, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), kandungan logam berat (Hg dan Pb), dan kandungan fosfat. Analisis tingkat pencemaran menggunakan metode Indeks Pencemaran air (IP). Berdasarkan nilai IP, air sungai Batang Lembang di Kota Solok dikategorikan tercemar ringan dengan nilai IP rata-rata sebesar 1,124. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa diantara tujuh parameter hanya parameter fosfat yang telah melebihi standar batas baku mutu air sungai kelas II menurut Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 82 Tahun 2001. Nilai rata-rata temperatur air di sungai Batang Lembang adalah 31°C. Nilai ini lebih rendah dari temperatur udara di sekitarnya yaitu 30°C. Nilai rata-rata pH sampel air adalah 7,5 yang bersifat basa. Nilai konduktivitas listrik sampel air berkisar antara antara 136 hingga 196 µS/cm dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 174 µS/cm. Nila rata-rata TDS sampel air adalah 87 mg/L. Sampel tanah diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling yang terdiri dari 4 titik yaitu pada daerah tidak bervegetasi dengan variasi kedalaman 3 cm hingga kedalaman 57 cm dan sampel tanah pembanding diambil di daerah bervegetasi dari kedalaman 3 cm hingga 99 cm.  Total sampel tanah yang diambil sebanyak 90 sampel. Pengukuran suseptibilitas magnetik sampel menggunakan magnetic susceptibility meter dengan low frequency. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa nilai suseptibilitas magnetik sampel bervariasi untuk daerah yang tidak bervegetasi berkisar 614,5 x 10-8 m3 kg-1 sampai dengan 918,3 x 10-8 m3kg-1, sedangkan daerah bervegetasi nilai suseptibilitas magnetik sampel berkisar antara 847,0 x 10-8 m3kg-1 sampai dengan 960,9 x 10-8 m3kg-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sampel tanah pada daerah penelitian merupakan jenis tanah andosol dengan mineral pengontrol nilai suseptibilitas magnetik adalah ilmenit. Perbandingan komposisi filler yang digunakan serbuk tempurung kelapa : serbuk kayu ulin yaitu 0%:70%, 20%:50%, 35%:35%, 50%:20%, 70%:0% dengan variasi matriks resin epoksi konstan yaitu 30%. Ukuran partikel serbuk tempurung kelapa dan serbuk kayu ulin yang digunakan adalah lolos ayakan 100 mesh. Parameter yang diukur adalah densitas, kadar air, daya serap air, Modulus of Elasticity (MOE), dan Modulus of Repture (MOR). Hasil pengujian yang didapatkan bahwa variasi komposisi serbuk tempurung kelapa dan serbuk kayu ulin berpengaruh terhadap sifat fisis dan mekanis papan partikel. Hasil pengujian sifat fisis papan partikel yang didapatkan memenuhi standar SNI 03-2105-2006 berdasarkan kadar air daya serap air sedangkan densitas belum memenuhi standar SNI 03-2105-2006. Indeks stabilitas sangat beragam jenisnya, namun yang umum digunakan dalam memprakirakan terjadinya awan Cb dan thunderstorm adalah SI, LI, TTI, SWEAT, KI, dan CAPE. Pada penelitian ini, ambang batas indeks stabilitas terhadap kejadian awan Cb dan thunderstorm hampir identik satu sama lain dengan bulan Desember merupakan bulan dengan ambang batas terendah dan tertinggi bagi tiap-tiap indeks stabilitas terhadap kejadian awan Cb dan thunderstorm. Akurasi ambang batas indeks stabilitas terhadap kejadian awan Cb lebih baik dibandingkan akurasi ambang batas indeks stabilitas terhadap kejadian thunderstorm yang disebabkan oleh awan Cb yang muncul di suatu wilayah belum tentu menghasilkan thunderstorm namun ketika thunderstorm terjadi di suatu wilayah maka thunderstorm tersebut disebabkan oleh adanya awan Cb.
