The semantic search performs the search by means of meaning instead of literals. The semantic search in unstructured documents requires to formalize knowledge through an annotation semantic process. Some annotation proposals use natural language processing tools, ontologies to link document terms; others use the similarity of entities through the weight of the edges, association between pair of concepts or the ontology structure. In this paper we present an alternative for semantic annotation in unstructured documents by semantic context extraction of entities. In the approach we detect the named entities through a data dictionary created from Wikipedia and link the instances in the ontology. The context extraction strategy is based on the concepts similarity; each term is associated with an instance of the ontology and the similarity between relationships explicit is measured by the combination of two types of measures: the association between each pair of concepts and the weight of the relationships. The approach was tested with two ontologies and two datasets in news and business, respectively.","PeriodicalId":220522,"journal":{"name":"Res. Comput. The system is analyzed at the paradigm level of concurrent message passing and implemented in Erlang, a functional and concurrent language programming. The design of the resulting system is based on a methodology that begins with the identification of a partition of the original work, continues with the possible assignment from subtasks to computational nodes (taking advantage of possible opportunities for intelligent collaboration) and, finally, by structuring a final solution based on sub-solutions.","PeriodicalId":220522,"journal":{"name":"Res. This paper proposes a monitoring system based on the system history data composed by two phases. In the first phase it learns the normal operation behavior of the system using an autoassociative neural network (AANN) which carries out the detection process. This paper presents a proposal for the detection of pedestrians using image analysis techniques for the extraction of characteristics of a pedestrian based on histogram of oriented gradients and local binary patterns which are extracted from a region of interest previously detected, combined and entered to a vector support machine that functions as a classifier between samples of pedestrians and non-pedestrians. A tracker based on the MeanShift algorithm is implemented for its efficiency in tracking processing and identifying the new locations of each of the detected targets.","PeriodicalId":220522,"journal":{"name":"Res. Does positive self-feedback work well and influence creative strategy in a positive way, just as proponents of ’emotional intelligence’ advocate? Thus, could emotive self-feedback either reinforce or supplant conventional tutoring with external feedback signals in design schools. A brainwave entrainment was carried out to measure energy output and compare with self-reports during given intervals of the assignment. Results indicate presence of a reliable self-regulatory mechanism in which emotive-cognitive reflexes produces sufficient feedforward for task appraisal.","PeriodicalId":220522,"journal":{"name":"Res. The recursive equation is based on mathematical morphology; A written text divided into syllables is related to phonemes of spoken Spanish in Mexico. The algorithm is implemented in a PIC and an integrated circuit that stores the sounds in memory locations. Each space in memory becomes a code that is related to a phoneme. Thus, the recursive function receives as input a vector that is the structure of a word; and outputs the corresponding memory locations. Obtaining intelligibility of more than 84%. The development of the recursive function in graphs is proposed, which allows an easy description of the sequence because it is handled as a black box with input and outputs; and the equation that governs the system can even be a transfer function.","PeriodicalId":220522,"journal":{"name":"Res.
