This descriptive study aimed to explore the critical viewpoint of the current challenges and lessons learned in selected lodging accommodations in Zambales, Philippines. It employed a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design using purposive sampling with 400 respondents. The Kruskal-Wallis test revealed that there is a significant difference in the perception of the respondents when they are grouped according to job positions. Resort and hotel workforces must be qualified in accordance with their positions, and continuous training is important to inculcate a sense of responsibility. Also, there is a little causal relationship between practices in socio-cultural, economic, and environmental aspects. Employees are not mindful of their practices as to whether they are attributable to sustainable operations. It also reveals that 379 out of 400 resorts and hotels have an existing plan that they are seriously crafting and implementing to address the challenges of their operations. They undertake appropriate measures to ensure that management is responsive to the impacts of tourism. Thus, long-term solutions are stressed to promote the environmental, economic, and social management plans for guest satisfaction and effective overall performance for sustainable lodging accommodations in the region.

The increasing poverty rate, especially in Nigeria, has become a complex problem that has resulted in economic degradation, which must be immediately resolved. Therefore, this study examines poverty and its intractability in Nigeria: causes and consequences. The study analyzes the data using Ordinary Least Square methods. The data were obtained from Federal Reserve Economic Data and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The results indicate that the poverty rate will rise by 0.035375 and 2.564296 units, respectively, for every unit increase in population and unemployment (UMP). Besides, the result shows that a unit increase in the human development index (HDI) will lead to a -4.347621 decrease in the poverty rate in Nigeria. The framework affirms that poverty is an intractability in Nigeria. The study consequently suggests that the government, non-governmental organizations, and private citizens prioritize funding for human development and embrace a solid fiscal policy that will boost economic output and lower the country's degree of poverty.

The long-term post-eruption impact of volcanic ash benefits agricultural crops in the surrounding area. However, in the short term, it will impact crop damage and damage to infrastructure that disrupts production activities and marketing of agricultural products. This paper aims to find out the factors in creating the capabilities of agribusiness actors in the prone zone to the Merapi volcano disaster. These factors are attributes of the production capability construct relevant to a fast recovery process scheme that encourages the availability of production continuity areas as part of disaster management. This paper discusses the factors that form the capability of agriculture production in Magelang regency adjacent to an active volcano, Mount Merapi, with a multivariate approach using factor analysis in the agribusiness zone. The sample of this research is 100 respondents of farmers and agribusiness owners. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, by taking sample data from 21 districts in Magelang Regency. The discussion in this paper determines that four factors shape agricultural capability in disaster-prone zones: support for production modernization, knowledge management, communication convergence, and change management. These four components will contribute in the context of scientific disaster management to productivity in the agroindustry area.

In operations management, an environmental management system standard has even emerged, which helps organizations to manage their business activities while taking into account the aspects and their impact on the environment, known as ISO 14001. For Human Resource Management (HRM), Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) is currently being widely implemented. The study then discusses in more detail how inspection companies in Indonesia, especially in the oil and gas sector, implement GHRM. The study also examines its relation to implementing the ISO 14001 environmental management system as compliance with regulations set by the Government, bearing in mind that the ISO 14001 standard contains requirements regarding HRM and the contribution of these human resources in organizational policies in the field of environmental preservation. Using qualitative research methods and data analysis processes using NVivo 12, the final results of this study found a link between GHRM and ISO 14001, and these interactions are related to one another. Furthermore, this study also looks further at the ideal model concept that can be applied as an illustration of the integration of GHRM and ISO 14001.

In Nigeria, for instance, various successive regimes have experimented with myriads of programmes targeted at poverty alleviation. Yet, in 2018, Nigeria was named the world's poverty capital, with about 87 million citizens living in extreme poverty. This data could be because economists, the World Bank, and other development organizations have stereotyped the concept of poverty as income, consumption, and wealth without paying attention to the "poverty mentality". As a result, governments often instinctively neglect the influence of the "poverty mentality" on the part of beneficiaries of poverty alleviation programmes when initiating social protection policy framework for the country. However, from the literature reviewed, a "poverty mentality" often leads to poor financial decisions and deadweight spending. Accordingly, this research article recommends a new international poverty order (NIPO) by dealing with multidimensional poverty and "poverty mentality" through investment education and value reorientation.

It is because the impact of unmanaged HSSE risk could have significant direct consequences for business in terms of financial & reputation loss. Thus, most companies believe, a proper HSSE management would drive the company's performance and sustain the business. Unfortunately, integrating HSSE into business is not an easy task. There are so many HSSE standards that need to be covered besides other standards that need to be also implemented from many disciplinary aspects. Therefore, the research conducted to identify an HSSE management system that aligns with business sustainability as an integrated management system to provide simplicity, eliminate redundancies, reduce documentation, establish consistency, reduce bureaucracy, cost reduction, streamline processes, optimize resources, consistency objectives across multiple systems, deliver a better result, and gain competitive advantage in supporting to be lean enterprise in driving company to be world-class level. The framework used is ESG by Sustainalytics, which consider three main items, e.g., corporate governance, materiality issues, and idiosyncratic issues. Corporate governance refers to the worldwide standard such as standalone management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM, ISPS, and ANZI Z10) and integrated management systems (PAS 99, ISRS 9, OEMS, and SUPREME). Materiality issues refer to the Sustainalytics and SASB list out. Meanwhile, the idiosyncratic refers to GISIS, IMO data of incidents in the last 5 years. In addition to that, research enriched with a causal effect model in enhancing HSSE excellence. The result of the assessment is a proposed integrated management system categorized into four pillars, i.e., People, Process, Plant, and Performance (4Ps). People consist of Leadership commitment and Training & competency assurance. Process consists of Occupational Health, Safe operation, Security for personnel & asset, Environment management, Hazard & risk management, Compliance, Emergency Management, Contractor & supplier management, Project management, Communication & promotion, and Learning from the event. Plant consists of Reliability & integrity management and Management of change. Performance consists of Result & reviews.

COVID-19 affects how companies handle employees, customers, and, therefore, the community. Unicorn companies have an essential role in overcoming the pandemic, and they are partnered with the Indonesian government to assist the government in fighting Covid-19. Unicorn companies use the CSR program in helping the community to face the pandemic and the new normal era. This paper aims to explain the response of Indonesian unicorn companies in handling the pandemic through CSR and explain why CSR is useful and necessary in facing the new normal era. The approach was taken in this paper was to survey the literature such as previous studies, annual reports, and news reports on the CSR program from Indonesian unicorn companies during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially CSR for vital stakeholders such as employees, customers, communities, and societies. Employees, consumers, and communities are the foremost significantly suffering from Covid-19. Indonesia's unicorn companies specialize in CSR in several sectors like basic needs, healthcare support, and education. CSR in the community is carried out by Tokopedia with the Nakamate program, while Go-Jek carries out CSR for consumers by providing in-app telemedicine. Besides that, Gojek also assists its driver-partners with financial assistance. On the other hand, other unicorns such as Traveloka, OVO, Bukalapak carry out CSR by donating money, medical equipment, and basic needs to communities affected by the pandemic. This study only adopted a descriptive qualitative research design; consequently, the data obtained were somewhat limited. Further, research can use the interview method with stakeholders to get a more in-depth review. To the best of the author's knowledge, this paper is one of the few studies to propose research on the CSR of unicorn companies in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic, obtained from qualitative data collected during the pandemic.

Currently, the Indonesian government supports green marketing actions carried out by companies. One of the supports provided by the government is the provision of eco labels for green products. To analyze an advertisement through the concept of green marketing, one of the supporting elements of communication in promotion is and eco brand and eco label. This research is a descriptive analysis using quantitative methods involving 100 respondents determined by the Bernoulli formula. Respondents are consumers who use eco care products during the covid-19 pandemic. The measurement scale used in this study is the ordinal scale and the Likert scale. This research used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing demonstrate a significant difference in customer buying behavior between the eco label, eco brand and environmental advertisement. The partial hypothesis test (t test) revealed that the factors (e.g eco label, eco brand and environmental advertisement) had a substantial impact on customer buying behavior. The coefficient of determination describes the relationship between these variables. Time affects most of consumer buying behavior and the rest is influenced by external factors. This study focusing the determine the effect of using environmentally friendly products on consumers to buy as measured through, eco brands, environmental advertisements and eco labels in Bandung-Indonesia either directly or indirectly. Furthermore, analysis is deemed necessary to expand the sample size and investigate a broader cluster of samples to boost the understanding of consumer purchase behavior. Difficult waste to decompose is plastic, they tend to accumulate in landfills, wasted in the sea, and can threaten marine ecosystems. However, if burned will produce substances that are harmful to health. This phenomenon supports people using plastic substitutes, bioplastics. It made from cassava and vegetable derivatives, and environmentally friendly and not harmful if ingested by animals. \u0000Purpose – This study aims to determine the effect of Green Brand Knowledge (GBK) and Green Perceived Value (GPV) on Green Purchase Intention (GPI) of bioplastic products in Bandung, Indonesia. \u0000Design/methodology/approach – This research is a quantitative research with descriptive and causal data analysis. The number of samples is 100 respondents who use bioplastic products in Bandung-Indonesia. The number of consumers is unknown, so the number of samples is determined by Bernoulli formula. Data collected from the questionnaire, processed using SPSS application and path analysis method. \u0000Findings – The results showed that the respondents' perceptions of each variable: Green Brand Knowledge (GBK), Green Perceived Value (GPV) and Green Purchase Intention (GPI) were in the good category. There is a partially significant relationship between Green Brand Knowledge (GBK) and Green Purchase Intention (GPI) and a simultaneous relationship, Green Brand Knowledge (GBK) and Green Perceived Value (GPV) with Green Purchase Intention (GPI) has a very strong and significant relationship. \u0000Research limitations – Focusing the dimensions of Green Brand Knowledge (GBK), Green Perceived Value (GPV) and Green Purchase Intention (GPI) to the respondent in Bandung-Indonesia, so the memory in the minds of consumers is centered on these variables. \u0000Originality/value – This study provides input on relevant theories regarding the effect of Green Brand Knowledge (GBK) and Green Perceived Value (GPV) on Green Purchase Intention (GPI) of bioplastic products in Bandung-Indonesia and supports increased consumer use of environmentally friendly products. It is known that improvements in the customer dimension and environmental concern are to increase Green Perceived Value (GPV), so that consumers get overall benefits and something is sacrificed based on environmental desires, in the hope that there will be sustainability and an increase in green needs.
