The study based on D college showed ideal “goal-driven” turned into “data-driven”. Those including single X-theory, data orientation, lack of participation mechanism, dominant quantitative assessment and so on resulted in the variation of MBO. Rebuilding organizational trust, encouraging faculty to participate in management, improving organizational communication networks and regulating performance procedure are suggested for D college to reconstruct the system of MBO.","PeriodicalId":219027,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business Anthropology","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132220519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Chen","doi":"10.33423/ijba.v8i1.1099","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33423/ijba.v8i1.1099","url":null,"abstract":"Chain migration has been one of the most explanatory paradigms in explaining transnational ethnic population movement while economic push-pull serves as the driving force to run the wheel. Thus geo-spatial kinship has been used to consolidate the trust and altruistic relations in such a system. However, the problem is that, does this neoliberal migration pattern just be formed and performed from very beginning of the migration flow as it assumes? How does it evolve and how does it get to mature into its present dynamic structure? To answer, this paper uses author’s fieldwork data from Cambodia’s ethnic Chinese community as the case to establish an ethnic network system of social spacing, organizational life cycle and ethnic network utility based on the case of Chinese communities in Cambodia. The correlation between ethnic social spaces and social organizations is concluded to explain how various identity variations are utilized in the five different stages of an ethnically organized life cycle. It tracks back how diaspora communities and ethnic networks begin the process of self-organization among members starting at early stage of informal interest groups and transforming into substantialized, normalized, formalized and legalized registered ethnic organizations that have access to government resources, transnational networks, and the local ethnic community.","PeriodicalId":219027,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business Anthropology","volume":"222 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122529330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The way to localize economic anthropology in China is through applying the theories and methods of economic anthropology to minority areas during China's economic development; investigating and solving the problems of the minorities through effective policy making; and then by formatting the new theory models. This paper probes and summarizes the path model of localizing economic anthropology with Chinese characteristics by examining Yang’s interphase operating principle model from different perspectives.","PeriodicalId":219027,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business Anthropology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121890877","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
