Throughout the studyan iterative algorithm has been proposed to find the suitable space (where root is located) for non-linear equations and it has been discovered by numerical results that proposed algorithm needs lesser number of iterations than Bisection method and Newton Raphson method to get required accuracy. Therefore, it can be said that modified method is faster than Bisection method and Newton Raphson method. In order to compare the results, some examples have been taken related to algebraic, trigonometric and transcendental functions. The software MATLAB, C++ and MICROSOFT EXCEL are used for finding the roots and results of non-linear equations with their graphical representation. It has been discovered that modified method executes better in comparison with existing iterative method.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"14 1","pages":"91-94"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85982074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In virtualized shared environment, the availability of the shared resources for the shared multiple clusters/Virtual Machines is always matters. To provide the better performance to the end users of the cloud VMs and for the always availability of shared resources, virtual machine migration is always a challenging task in virtualized environment. The aim of this research is to investigate various parameters of live data migration between the shared clusters/virtual machines in state-full context and overall load balance level. The proposed migration strategy ensures the avoidance of attacks/anomalies which causes the load increase on the VMs which effects the entire system. This could be done by the resource allocation from one cluster to another via checkpointing method of VM to maintain the state of the VM, load of the VM including resource availability. Using Xen hypervisor memory technique which dynamically allows the migration of the configured memory while the allocated memory could be discarded for a while. By this the bad memory remains un-migrated only the good memory consisting the used data would be migrated by means of Real-time.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"4 1","pages":"107-114"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84796456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The radiating patch is made up of copper material backed by a 0.254 mm thicker Roggers-5880 substrate (N9000 PTFE) having relative permittivity and loss tangent of 22x10-1 and 9x10-4, correspondingly. The antenna resonates at 23 GHz frequency band. The major lobe gain of the single component 5G antenna is 7.16 dB.To meet the gain requirements of 5G mobile communication systems, 1 x 4 element array antenna has been proposed which increases the bore side gain up to 12.6 dB at the desired frequency. The proposed antennas efficiency is 91-94 % with a sufficient amount of driving point impedance bandwidth (S11<- 10 dB), i.e. 600-620 MHz;The SAR of the proposed antenna is analyzed at two different parts of human body, i.e. belly and hand. The SAR is averaged over 10g of tissue. The proposed 1 x 4 element antenna gives lower values of SAR (<2 W/kg) on all parts of human body. The proposed array antenna can be used in 5G mobile handheld devices. All the simulations are carried out using CST MWS. The proposed antenna is suitable contender for 5G mobile communication systems.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"25 1","pages":"27-32"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88405601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore unlikely from the previous approaches, an LSE combined pulse which is a procedural grouping of the initial fifteen higher time offshoots of a Gaussian pulse has been used to obtain desired pulse shape. The impulse outcome of the system doing pulse shaping has been cross validated against FCC indoor channel emission mask and the results are well satisfactory for UWB propagation standards proposed by FCC. The impulse response being highly non-linear poses problems for the implementation. We have solved this problem by using Recursive Least Square (RLS) technique to develop an FIR structure for the pulse shaper of this LSE combined pulse. The attraction of the solution is that the resultant filter structure is simple and cost effective.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"2 1","pages":"33-40"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82010604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Use of extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) model in the context of m-learning has been limited. This study explores its use and further refines UTAUT2 in the context of m-learning. A cross-sectional survey has been conducted in order to collect data from two universities of Pakistan. SmartPLS 3 and SPSS v.21 were used for investigating the data. The findings revealed that the behavioral intention regarding m-learning acceptance is positively influenced by performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, habit, hedonic motivation, ubiquity and personal innovativeness while effort expectancy has positive influence towards performance expectancy. Furthermore, the proposed conceptual model achieved acceptable fit and the hypothesized paths were valid. This study contributes in the m-learning and provides valuable insights to assess the acceptance of m-learning in the context of higher education institutes in Pakistan.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"41 1","pages":"141-146"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83727410","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus a tetrad is formed if four guanines are attached with each other. These tetrads are the cause of the formation of unusual structures called G-quadruplex structures. These structures not only formed by a single guanine rich nucleic acid sequence but their formation is also possible by two or four parallel sequences collectively. These structures (or guanine rich sequences through which they are formed) affect a well known technology named Affymetrix GeneChip which is popular for gene expression measurement effectively and cheaply. Since the nucleic acid sequences are placed very closely on GeneChip, they are able to interact with each other and then form G-quadruplex structures. In this case, they are not ready to hybridize with their target sequences. It is found that raw or hybridization level data of human, mouse and rat (mammalian in general) are affected by guanine rich sequences. This paper exhibits that GeneChips of two Bacterias are also affected by guanine-guanine interaction and hence measurement of gene expressions using these chips could be misleading.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"68 1","pages":"1-6"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89296052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Samples of beach sand from Gaddani beach area, Balochistan, Pakistan were collected in order to understand the beach environment. In addition to field observation of primary sedimentary structures the samples were processed for grain size analysis, chemical, and mineralogical studies. The result of sorting and mineral aggregation shows that the environment has strong energy. All the results of above mentioned analysis lead us to conclude that it is beach environment. The increased concentration and shape of quartz in the samples suggest for it being transported from far away and experienced several depositional cycles. The primary structures affirm the bioturbation and graded bedding mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"26 1","pages":"187-192"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73914970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Stories, newspapers are the page collection that belongs to text categorization. Various Sindhi newspapers are regularly published and Daily Kawish is one of them. People are facing difficulties during reading newspaper because there is no any specific option that will categorize particular news related to sports, technologies, crime, fashion and current affairs. For this purpose, a Text Categorization System (TCS) for Sindhi language is presented in this paper. Five classes are used and scanned each newspaper page inside a single class. It is too difficult to predict how many users will read newspaper simultaneously and for this, web performance is tested. Moreover, for the classification of the text from pages, precision, recall and f-measure are used to measure and achieved 67% of accuracy to classify the text from newspaper pages. It would be beneficial for those who want to save their precious time during reading newspaper.","PeriodicalId":21859,"journal":{"name":"Sindh University Research Journal","volume":"23 1","pages":"85-90"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73977596","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
