The ecological and geographical conditions of the habitat may be responsible for the synthesis and accumulation of various bioactive compounds and, therefore, for biological effects, including the antioxidant properties of medicinal plants. Understanding the impact of environmental factors on bioactive compounds in medicinal plants have great importance for choosing a place for growing and harvesting plants with a high content of bioactive compounds, as well as providing the highest quality raw materials in the pharmaceutical industry. \u0000Objective. To study the accumulation of iridoids, phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity in G. cruciata plant samples, depending on the growing conditions. \u0000Results. The regions of the Republic of Tatarstan with the best quality of medicinal raw materials, as well as factors contributing to the accumulation of various groups of biologically active substances in G. cruciate plants, were identified. Humidity and soil type played a decisive role in the accumulation of iridoids; the synthesis of phenolic compounds was more influenced by humidity than the type of soil. However, since the change in antioxidant activity did not correspond to concentration of phenolic compounds, this may be due to the presence of iridoids, which are considered to be the main substances of the plant of the genus Grecian. Their antioxidant activity has been shown in previous studies. In our studies, soil properties seem to have great influence on the production of studied compounds. \u0000Conclusions. Argentina is one of the largest and most developed socio-economic countries in Latin America. The use of modern agricultural technologies in the Argentine plains and new methods of shipping allowed Argentina to start exporting agricultural products to Europe. A series of commodity booms enriched Argentina and made it one of the largest economies in the world at the beginning of the 20th century. \u0000Purpose is to analyze and identify problems and prospects for the development of the agricultural structure in Argentina. \u0000Materials and methods. In the study, the authors used analytical materials of the UN Economic Commission and other international organizations on the countries of Latin America, reviews and reports of the Central Bank, the Institute of Statistics, the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this work, dialectical, systemic, historical, logical, formal-legal, comparative research methods were used. \u0000Results. Due to the abundance of appropriate land and natural resources, the favorable climate in most of the country and the generally low activity of pests, agricultural in Argentina is not particularly limited by natural conditions. However, there are a number of other factors that prevent Argentine farmers from fully operating as efficiently as possible. \u0000Conclusion. Argentina’s agro-industrial policy is quite contradictory. Despite the development of digital services and modern information technologies to support agricultural producers, the introduction of progressive export support programs, a fairly powerful infrastructure throughout the entire production cycle of agricultural products, the Argentine government from time to time resorts to using serious export barriers to maintaining the domestic market, which in general affects the Agar sector is not always positive.

Horses of the Yakut breed are only type of farm animals that are kept year-round in harsh conditions of the sharply continental climate of Yakutia. In winter, animals experience a significant lack of nutrients and minerals. This is due to fact that basic diet consists of natural feed winter pasture and hay. Therefore, the goal was to study the effect of complex feed additives from local natural raw materials on the change in live weight and biochemical composition of the blood of animals. This study used standard animal research methods. The use of non-traditional feed additives in feeding of horses contributed to an increase in the supply of nutrients and minerals to the rations. Improving feeding conditions affected the live weight of horses (live weight loss was 5.75 % и 5.45 %). The change caused by inclusion of non-traditional feed additives in the diets of horses had a positive effect on the morphological and biochemical composition of the blood animals. In horses from the experimental groups, an increase was found in the blood in total protein by 0.50 % and 0.30 %, albumin by 0.36 and 0.20 %, globulin by 0.13 and 0.10 %, hemoglobin by 2.91 and 1.33 %, calcium by 3.56 and 1.29%, phosphorus by 5.71 and 1.90 %. Thus, use of experimental non-traditional feed additives in feeding horses in winter contributes to the best preservation of live weight. This is due to the improvement of mineral and vitamin nutrition in a difficult period of deficiency of macro- and microelements, vitamins in the diets of horses. This improves metabolism, which is reflected in the morphological and biochemical composition of blood of horses.

A lot of scientific articles have been published since the global COVID-19 pandemic was officially announced by WHO. Although different aspects of COVID-19 impact on the mental sphere were studied, some issues regarding the psychological characteristics of those who have had a coronavirus infection are still not fully revealed. It is noted by many authors that even when the main symptoms of the disease are subsided, symptoms of anxiety, depression, cognitive & mood disorders are still persistent even after the treatment. \u0000Purpose: to study cognitive and emotional spheres of patients who are recovering from coronavirus infection and currently undergoing rehabilitation procedures. \u0000Materials and methods. The study involved 100 patients undergoing medical rehabilitation, 55 of them are recovering from traumatological, neurological and cardiovascular disorders (27 male and 28 female patients, aged 57±10) and 45 patients are recovering from pneumonia caused by coronavirus infection (11 male and 34 female patients, aged 58±12). The study was conducted using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA), the Hospital Anxiety & Depression Scale (HADS), and the Health-Activity-Mood Scale (SAN). Statistical analysis of raw data had included calculation of descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, Student’s t-test for independent groups, Fisher’s φ* transformation and significance of correlation coefficients differences with Fisher’s transformation & Student T-distribution, and was processed with Microsoft Office Excel 2016 build-in data analysis package. \u0000Results. Analysis of MoCA results showed that ratio of severe impairments of memory functions and attention span is higher in post-COVID group of patients. This group also had higher rate of anxiety symptoms and sub-clinical depression state. In both groups more than a half of the patients have average level of anxiety and depression, however patients from post-COVID group are more likely to experience more symptoms of anxiety than non-COVID patients. Patients from post-COVID group are significantly more likely to have a higher scores of anxiety compared to patients in the other group and at the same time they are less likely to have average anxiety level. Differences between groups were discovered for “Health” and “Mood” scales of SAN with higher scores among post-COID patients as well as lower scores for “Activity” scale. \u0000Conclusion. Statistically significant differences between the groups were found; common and specific correlations were found for both groups. The results may be useful for healthcare professionals working with post-COVID patients, and can also be used by psychologists who deal with the problems of social and psychological rehabilitation of post-COVID patients.

Identification of the traits of the antioxidant system of wheat grains with powdery and vitreous endosperm during aging and under the influence of a stressor. \u0000Materials and methods. Soft wheat grains were treated with impulse pressure (IP) and stored for 3 years. Germination was determined. The content AO was determined by the o-phenanthroline method, and LP products were assessed by the reaction of malonic dialdehyde with thiobarbituric acid. \u0000Results. Germination of control seeds with powdery endosperm after storage for 3 years was the lowest (20%). In control part of seeds with vitreous endosperm, germination was 27%. ID increased the amount of seeds with vitreous endosperm and germination. The content of AO in control grains with powdery endosperm was higher than in vitreous grains, and the content of LP products was lower. After the treatment of IP the content of AO increased in vitreous grains; it did not change as compared to the control in powdery grains. The content of LP products in the grains treated with ID 11 MPa was lower than in the control variant. An increase in POL at ID 29 MPa indicates the accumulation of damage; \u0000Conclusion. During the storage of wheat grains, germination decreased mainly due to the appearance of dead grains. The greatest decrease in germination was observed in grains with powdery endosperm.
