Then, it introduces our proposition aiming to detect and bypass disconnection zones through a new routing protocol based on i) the estimation of the contact time between a vehicle and its neighbors, ii) the data load to be transferred and (iii) logs of communication errors. The objective is to ensure the availability, the reliability and the robustness of inter-vehicle communications by taking these three criteria into account in a data routing algorithm.","PeriodicalId":218080,"journal":{"name":"Challenges of the Internet of Things","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117095671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Next, in the second section, we will discuss in detail the impact of augmenting the player’s game using an avatar, compared to the scenic limitations of the theatrical stage. In part three of the paper, we will discuss the software-related aspects of the project, focusing on exchanges between the different components of our design and describing the algorithms enabling us to utilize the real-time movement of a player via various capture devices. To conclude, we will examine in detail how our experimental system linking physical actors and avatars profoundly alters the nature of collaboration between directors, actors, and digital artists in terms of actor/avatar direction.","PeriodicalId":218080,"journal":{"name":"Challenges of the Internet of Things","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123677833","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This explosion concerns public as well as private information. From an individual perspective, the explosion is largely materialized by the computer system that we constantly have with us, namely the smartphone. The smartphone provides immediate access to a wealth of information and a multitude of data. All these various data are often delivered to the user by means of the same single output module ie. the screen (and episodically the sound or vibrations) of the smartphone. The smartphone is an easy way to get access to many different data, but this is not always the most practical solution for each category of information, nor in all circumstances. Ambient devices can be an answer to some situations for which the smartphone is not convenient enough to get access to the required information. Ambient displays deliver effortless, instant access to information at a glance. This paper introduces the Ambient Atoms, a new ambient visualization device. The Ambient Atoms is a cheep and flexible connected object that looks like a frame on which information is symbolically visualized. An application for the visualization of data relative to an apartment is proposed as a sample application.","PeriodicalId":218080,"journal":{"name":"Challenges of the Internet of Things","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114368337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
