Especially in sports courts, they provide much light in the field, but the lights will turn on in the absence of the players in the field, which leads to the waste of electricity. To overcome this problem, electricity during unused hours need to be saved and it is very hard for humans to monitor and control. To control the electricity, a prototype is designed that will turn ON and OFF the lights based on the presence of humans and dim the lights for a particular time period when humans are present in the field but no actions are sensed using the PIR sensor. By using this prototype, the electricity can be controlled, and the wastage of electricity is reduced. One of the major difficulties on the sports court is the scoreboard system. Scoreboards play a very important role in the sports field. At present, the scoreboards in the sports court are operated manually, so by replacing the conventional analogue type scoreboard with a digital type scoreboard, the manual work is eliminated. An IOT-based scoreboard using the Raspberry Pi is designed by which the scoreboard can be controlled with the help of a mobile phone. The primary aim of the proposed system is to ensure that the score can be controlled from a computer or mobile phone with the help of the application developed for it and that the score is displayed on digital screens.","PeriodicalId":217957,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems (ICSCSS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131598286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the system’s efficiency in identifying the presence of weeds is highlighted, the challenges faced by such systems are not explicitly mentioned. Recent techniques such as convolutional neural networks (CNN) are used in this system to teach the model using a dataset of images of weeds and crops. However, the challenges faced by such systems, such as the need for large annotated datasets and the potential for misclassifying weeds, are not addressed. The proposed objective of this study is to demonstrate the effectiveness of using deep learning methods to improve weed management techniques in agriculture. By accurately identifying weeds, farmers can use fewer herbicides and reduce the negative environmental impact of weed control. Overall, this study highlights the potential of deep learning methods in enhancing agricultural practices and reducing the negative environmental effects of weed control.","PeriodicalId":217957,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems (ICSCSS)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122478515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This resulted in automation of number of applications spread over wide areas with accurate decision making due to the advent of machine learning algorithms. The statistical data available is being used to train a model there by reducing the human involvement. Among the number of areas, development of driver less cars are the most tending area these days. The fundamental problem faced in the design is to avoid collision and prevent accidents. Even though there is a steep rise in the automobile market, the rise in the number of casualties is becoming concern day by day. Irrespective of dissemination of safety measures, the reluctance of the drivers is also increasing following the same. Road accidents occur majorly due to the consumption of alcohol or sometimes due to overstraining due to continuous driving and health conditions. Lot of research has been done on monitoring the physical and health conditions of drivers in vehicles by integrating inputs from sensors. However, the existing works lack uniqueness in the sense that all the conditions needed to prevent accident as well as prevention of injuries at the outset of accidents are not incorporated. This indicates the lack of sensing elements that can perform multiple tasks. The current work is aimed at development of prototype indigenous system that can monitor the state of the driver as well as control the speed of the vehicle at the onset of a deviation in the driver’s body parameters. The location of the vehicle can be continuously tracked and if any accident happens, information will be conveyed is conveyed to concerned persons","PeriodicalId":217957,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems (ICSCSS)","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121463827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This type of knee pain is incurable and can only be managed. For the management of pain, a faster and easy mode is needed. Physical therapies are used for management of pain. This method of treatment emphasizes the combination of physical therapy for pain management. The acupressure therapy, heat and cold therapy is used along with the assistance of smartphone application. This provides easy access to the elderly people and can be self-applicable. The level of vibrational intensities used in the acupressure therapy can be varied according to the level of pain the person is experiencing. The data regarding the level of pain and some physiological parameters of the people are acquired. From the acquired data, an analysis is made regarding the human acceptable range of parameters such as vibrational levels and temperature. Based on the analysis of those data, a standard range of parameters can be set. The pain assessment scale is integrated into the application and the level of parameters are provided respective to the pain scale level. 30 people with and without arthritis were tested using this system and the accurate level of parameters are identified. The main challenge faced was the conversion of external power supply to battery. When it is converted to a rechargeable battery, people can use it along with their daily activities. The only disadvantage of the system is that it is not battery operated rather it requires a constant power supply. From the results obtained, this system significantly reduces pain by the combinational effect of physical therapies.","PeriodicalId":217957,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems (ICSCSS)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116557451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study has developed a prediction method to detect the performance level of automobiles using machine learning. To increase the vehicle performance efficiency, it is critical to analyze the elements by utilizing several well-known machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, decision tree, and random forest. The primary objective of this research study is to predict the vehicle performance in order to enhance specific vehicle characteristics. This can considerably reduce fuel usage and boost efficiency of the proposed system. These are the elements that may be used to predict the health of a vehicle. This study has developed a machine learning model called “Car Performance Prediction” to forecast a car’s mileage. While the existing system makes use of acceleration capacity and measured equipment to measure the overall car performance to predict the result by using the physical equipment called Dynamometer to get the results, the proposed system automatically forecasts the performance of a car by using existing datasets and algorithms.","PeriodicalId":217957,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems (ICSCSS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131251874","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition to these issues, a major drawback facing every day is safely maintaining the harvested products. So, new technological assistance is required to support farmers to come out from this issue. A lot of the stored grain spoils in the warehouse are due to temperature inconsistency and certain other climate factors. One of the main causes of this loss is the impossibility of maintaining perfect control over the insi de parameters of a storage unit. Grain quality may be maintained and storage losses can be minimized with timely, meaningful, and reliable to create a method to upload sensor readings to a remote cloud server and get the necessary facts from there. In this paper. Temperature readings, humidity readings, and other environmental characteristics are detected by using the proposed methodology because these parameters cause a significant impact on the nutritional value of vegetables. This system allows users to monitor respective sensor data in real-time and provide the user the ability to regulate adjustments. The Internet of Things (IOT) oriented Wi-Fi assistance creates the physical system structure for the supervision module, detailing the operation of numerous connections and sensors in precision as well as evaluating the outcomes of warehouse monitoring system design. The proposed solution employs existing IOT technologies and utilizes a Wi-Fi enabled NodeMCU controller to collect and transmit sensor data. The collected data is analyzed and processed using software to provide timely information and notifications to the relevant personnel regarding the warehouse’s environmental conditions. The system also offers corrective actions to address emerging scenarios. In terms of warehouse information storage, the IOT-based cloud-enabled solution provides significant advantages over the traditional paradigm. Extensive monitoring was conducted at various locations such as Erode, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem, and Thiruchengode to guarantee system stability and optimize performance. By carefully observing these locations, valuable data and insights were collected to evaluate and enhance the system’s performance. The monitoring approach played a vital role in ensuring the deployment’s success by ensuring reliability, efficiency, and the ability to maintain desired conditions in indoor rooms containing potatoes and onions.","PeriodicalId":217957,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems (ICSCSS)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131672609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Relatively to certain other face recognition concerns, the level of performance in this area has not increased significantly. Despite the progress made in age and gender prediction, several challenges like Facial variability, Data bias persist. Each language around the world includes its own lexicons and grammar standards which are aimed at helping individuals of various generations to interact. The decision to adopt is dependent upon the human capability to quickly identify specific characteristics like age and gender from the individual external appearance. This study assumed that AI technologies become even more widespread in variety of sectors and its decision-making abilities might mimic human mind. Besides, this study has created a GRA NET computational intelligence algorithm to Figure out the person’s age and sex.The residual attention network has already been improved and enhanced as well as the infrastructure now encompasses the principle of gate. Age forecasting is a regression issue whereas gender identity is a binary classification issue. Investigations have been done on the publicly available UTK Face dataset. The World Health organisation (WHO) calculates that 65 million individuals worldwide have medium to high level severe COPD. More over 3 million people in the world died because of COPD in 2005, making it upto 5% of all global fatalities. It is anticipated to surpass smoking as the third-leading cause of death by 2030. In India, it was estimated that in 2005, NCDs were responsible for 53% of all fatalities and 44% of lost disability-adjusted life years (DALYs). These long-term respiratory illnesses were responsible for 3% of lose and 7% of deaths. There are 30 million COPD patients in India alone, according to rough estimates. India is predicted to have one of the highest numbers of COPD death rates in the world, with more than 64.7 estimated age-standardized death rates per 100,000 people, including both genders. In this condition of COPD the patients need an external oxygen supply and in severe cases, they can’t move without a wheelchair. So they always need the help of two people, one to carry an oxygen cylinder trolley and another to move the wheelchair. The existing models have many disadvantages such as single featured, costlier (minimum 50k) and less efficient hardware models. The proposed solution is to build a smart wheelchair that has two oxygen cylinder holders on both sides of the armrest (one on the left another on right) in the wheelchair. If one cylinder empties, the person can switch to another easily, and also the wheelchair will be balanced. The wheelchair is designed in such a way that it can be converted into a bed (multi-purpose: wheelchair cum bed) using a link mechanism. The wheelchair is powered with a battery (lead acid) source and it can move automatically by taking input from the user through the joystick. It has a sound alarm to indicate others as the patients wore oxygen supply masks and they can’t talk. It also has a detachable toilet bin facility to make sure that the person is not forced to get up from the wheelchair for any purpose. The proposed wheelchair has five features. They are automatic mobility, bed to wheelchair and vice versa transformation, detachable toilet bin holder, emergency sound alarm, two oxygen cylinder holders. The main motto of the study is to make sure that the COPD patients can live their dream life which is to live independently.","PeriodicalId":217957,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Sustainable Computing and Smart Systems (ICSCSS)","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134233164","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
