This is particularly true for the simulation of complex systems where the computational resources needed considerably increase with the model resolution and with the number of simulated entities. The development of such simulation systems, however, requires extra efforts compared to the conventional local ones. Example extra efforts are learning how to use the Distributed Simulation (DS) Standard (such as HLA) and the development of extra software for the synchronization and communication between the local and distributed environment. In this paper, we address the problem of defining a simulation language that can transparently support the development distributed simulation systems, by making the use of the DS standard transparent and also reducing the amount of extra software. The HLA transparent language we introduce is named jEQN, being Java-based and dealing with Extended Queueing Networks domains. Under the standard of extensible modeling & simulation framework (XMSF), web technology has been applied to distributed simulation more and more. The research on the Web-based statistical & evaluation method has become the new tide in simulations. This paper introduces the deficiencies of traditional statistical & evaluation method first. Given the deficiencies, the Web-based real-time statistical method is put forward. Then the work principle and the key techniques which include design of statistical data agent (SDA), design of real-time statistical calculation module and Web-based statistical data publication are illustrated in detail. Because these machines are capable of providing high pressure along with variable loading, they are favored for many gas process applications. The crank-shaft is a very important part of the reciprocating compressor, but suffers from the high fraction defective of finished products, hence a high performance of the lubrication resulting from fluid dynamics is strongly demanded. The structure of the crank-shaft is normal but the oil hole in the crankshaft is so complicated that the actual structure of the crank-shaft is different from the designed and the oil-film develops incompletion. All of these will cause locking problem. So we want to design the structure of the oil-hole to improve the lubrication between the crankshaft and the bearing. We use CT (computed tomography) scanner to scan the crank-shaft, and re-created crank-shaftpsilas model. Then predict the stress and deformation of the crank-shaft. The model analysis provided valuable theoretic basis for the improvement of the compressorpsilas crankshaft. Put forward an improved contourlet-domain hidden Markov tree model where the state of the contourlet coefficients depends not only on the state of its parent node but on the state of the twin of its parent as well. This strategy can catch richer interscale correlation of the contourlet coefficient, and then is more suitable for representing non-Gaussian statistics and persistence of the contourlet coefficient. In this method, the coordination of protection systems is described by the coordination matrix which is corresponding to the state of hydropower plant operation conditions and the topology of the electrical network. Based on coordination matrix, the settings calculation results can be directly passed to the setting variables of the simulation models of relay protection systems. Thus, the settings calculation models and the function simulation models of protection systems are developed to have unified models. By doing this, the developed models are versatile for different operation conditions of hydropower plant and different topologies of the electrical network through modifying the coordination matrix. Commonly, the road is represented by vector structure while the field is represented by tessellation structure. The path plan object in CGF or C2 should maneuver from road to field. In this paper, a novel method based on original data of GIS is put forward to build obstacle regions. It can effectively generate obstacle boundaries in field environment. Based on the expression of obstacles, the field nodes are produced by deterministic samples in free region, and they are synthesized with road map nodes. Using the collision-free algorithm given in this paper, adjacency nodes are connected by FTR (field tactical roadmap) connectors. In order to evaluate a GPS receiverpsilas performances, a simulation platform build on Matlab has been developed by this research. This platform includes four elements: user interface, GPS signal simulator (intermediate frequency, IF), civilian (C/A) software receiver and noise generator. Design and implementation of the platform are discussed in details in this paper. Firstly, a mathematical model of intermediate frequency (IF) GPS signal simulator is introduced. After that, methods of determining visual satellites and computing transmission time by using existing ephemeris are also discussed. Secondly, key algorithms of the software receiver, including acquisition and tracking, are presented. Finally, an experiment is demonstrated to test the validity of this platform. The close correspondence between pre-designed user trajectories and position results of the software receiver certifies the validity of this platform. Compared with hardware simulation, this platform possesses more effective and flexible. The performances of the receiver can be tested completely by changing different scenes of signal simulator. All key techniques of this platform are modularized and coded with Matlab language. It is easy to understood and used. This paper models the air combat effectiveness assessment problem as a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem and proposes a two-step evaluation model, combining the technique of fuzzy AHP (fuzzy analytic hierarchy process) and TOPSIS (technique for order performance by similarity to idea solution). This study applies the fuzzy AHP method to determine the relative weights of multiple evaluation criteria and to synthesize the ratings of candidate aircraft. Aggregated the evaluatorspsila attitude toward preference; then TOPSIS is employed to obtain a crisp overall performance value for each alternative to make a final decision. To illustrate how the approach is used for the air combat effectiveness assessment problem, an empirical study of a real case involving seven evaluation criteria, six initial military aircraft assessed by 15 experts is conducted. The dynamic characteristic is decomposed into three indexes to construct target function. Genetic algorithm is used to optimize model parameters. Validated with transfer function of final superheater system, the model optimized by this method achieves the required accuracy when inlet steam temperature disturbs. The method replaces manual parameter regulation and shortens the optimization time.
