Built the basic model and extended model of supply chain cost optimization with the constraint of waiting time of client, ability of product value-increased, productive capacity and logistics capability and aimed that the minimization of supply chain total cost that based on customized products operation activity. The influence of positions of customer order decoupling point (CODP) on total cost was analyzed. It is point that total cost changed as the positions of CODP moving with the trend of convex function. At last, the model of supply chain cost optimization was simulated. The results indicate that only when the positions of CODP in the middle reaches of production, the customized production of complex products could be realized with low cost and high efficiency by enterprises.","PeriodicalId":217503,"journal":{"name":"2008 Asia Simulation Conference - 7th International Conference on System Simulation and Scientific Computing","volume":"246 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116047303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As system-on-chip (SoC) becomes prevalent in the intelligent system applications, the reliability issue of SoC is getting more attention in the design industry while the SoC fabrication enters the very deep submicron technology. In this study, we present a new approach of system bus fault injection in SystemC design platform, which can be used to assist us in performing the failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) procedure during the SoC design phase. We demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed fault injection mechanism with an experimental ARM-based system.","PeriodicalId":217503,"journal":{"name":"2008 Asia Simulation Conference - 7th International Conference on System Simulation and Scientific Computing","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116980127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The adaptive full-order observer based on IM equation is used to estimate stator currents and rotor flux. Lyapunovpsilas stability criterion is employed to estimate rotor speed. The same algorithm deduced from Lyapunovpsilas stability criterion is given to estimate the stator resistance, which results in the speed estimation error. The results of simulation show that the motor speed is controlled well at very low speeds. The proposed speed and stator resistance identification methods can be believed have high possibility in practical applications.","PeriodicalId":217503,"journal":{"name":"2008 Asia Simulation Conference - 7th International Conference on System Simulation and Scientific Computing","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115670148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to a typical structure of carrier tracking loop, this paper introduces the principles of the commonly used devices in carrier tracking, such as four-quadrant frequency discriminator (FQFD) algorithm and the principle of expanded Kalman filter (EKF) algorithm, then analyses the tracking performances of these two algorithms with the input signals by setting the frequency as a constant value, or a step equation, or a simple equation or a quadratic equation of time. Based on these two algorithms, a new hybrid carrier tracking algorithm is designed. The performance of newly hybrid tracking algorithm is simulated and the result demonstrates that it is able to track carriers with different sorts of frequency changing laws, with small tracking errors.","PeriodicalId":217503,"journal":{"name":"2008 Asia Simulation Conference - 7th International Conference on System Simulation and Scientific Computing","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115455960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using professional casting software, the temperature field during filling and solidification process is simulated, and then the potential defects are predicted and previewed. It is found that there will be shrinkage at the center of hub through analyzing. And this shrinkage can not be eliminated by reducing the pouring velocity. But installing cooling pipe system in the top mold alone is a valid way to enhance the cooling capacity at the areas near the center. The solidified order is adjusted by the cooling pipe system and the shrinkage in the center of the hub is eliminated.","PeriodicalId":217503,"journal":{"name":"2008 Asia Simulation Conference - 7th International Conference on System Simulation and Scientific Computing","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114162363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, there are not any applicable approaches for semantic specification of simulation components. In this paper, ontology theory and feature models are introduced. The semantic models of simulation components consist of conception space, definition space and contest space. The meta-models of conception and definition spaces are built based on feature ontology. Mapping algorithms from conception to definition spaces are designed. Semi-autonomic generation of definition space can be implemented to a certain degree.","PeriodicalId":217503,"journal":{"name":"2008 Asia Simulation Conference - 7th International Conference on System Simulation and Scientific Computing","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114721234","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

State estimation and trajectory prediction are important components of a CDR system. This paper proposes a new algorithm to accomplish these tasks. For state estimation, the Kalman filter is used to provide accurate continuous state estimates and an adaptive model-transition protocol is introduced to track the discrete flight models. Incorporating these information, the intent model is determined by a pretreatment and probability method. Finally, the future trajectory can be predicted. Simulation results based on an up-to-date surveillance technology-Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) show that our algorithm performs significantly better in providing accurate trajectory prediction and increasing the computation efficiency than existing algorithms.","PeriodicalId":217503,"journal":{"name":"2008 Asia Simulation Conference - 7th International Conference on System Simulation and Scientific Computing","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125329696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
