The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of FASE E1 SAJ class students at SMA N 9 Jambi City in writing descriptive text using animated movies. This research uses qualitative as the research design and descriptive as the research method. researchers used tests given to students as research instruments, then the results of these tests were assessed and analyzed. The population is class phase students at SMA N 9 Jambi city for the 2022/2023 academic year and the sample is 34 students in class fase E1 saj. the researcher uses a score rubric to help assess students' grades and written tests to obtain data. Based on research findings, indicators of students' writing abilities, namely content (63,23), organization (66,23), grammar (65,23), vocabulary (63,73), mechanics (76,47) are at a great level. This research was conducted at Junior High School Number 2 Jambi City. In this research, the researcher use scrabble game as a media to increase students’ vocabulary mastery. The research aims to determine whether or not the scrabble game is effective in improving students' vocabulary mastery and tolearn about the students' responses to the scrabble game. The experimental design was used in this study. The study's subjects were ninth-grade students at Jambi City Junior High School Number 2. As a sample, the researcher attended two classes with 30 students each. The first class served as an experimental class with a scrabble game, while the second served as a control class without a scrabble game.A pretest and a posttest were used to collect the data. The scores before treatment were determined by the pretest score, and the scores after treatment were determined by the posttest score. The results of the pretest and posttest scores were analyzed using the t-test formula to determine whether or not the scrabble game is effective. The t-test was used to analyze data in this study using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for Windows version 25 program. The findings of this study revealed that the T-test was greater than the T-table (7.224 > 2.045) and the sig (2 tailed) result was less than the level of significance (0.00 < 0.05), implying that H1 was accepted while H0 was rejected. According to the results of the students, there was a significant improvement from the pre-test to the post-test, which was analyzed using SPSS. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental methodology. A pre-test and post-test are used to collect data in this design. This research took place at SMAN 11 Jambi City. The researcher used a simple random sampling strategy to select students for the sample. Students in XI MIPA 2 were taught using the mind mapping technique, while students in XI MIPA 1 were not. The data gathered for this research was analyzed using the SPSS application. To collect data, the researcher gave a writing exam, which consisted of writing an explanatory text. Students in the experimental class completed a writing test using a mind mapping technique, whereas students in the control class did not use a mind mapping technique. The data in this research is analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t tests. The following are the research's findings: (1) Normality test results for the experimental class with sig. 0.752 > 0.05 and the control class with sig. 0.510 > 0.05 show that the research's normality test is normally distributed. (2) The homogeneity test findings of the experimental class with sig. 0.678 > 0.05 and the control class with sig. 0.457 > 0.05 in this research are homogeneous. This type of research was a quasi-experimental study of 133 people. Through a simple random selection procedure, 36 XI IPS 3 students were selected for the control class and 33 XI IPS 1 students were selected for the experimental class. A technique for collecting data by distributing questions to respondents. In this research, the data analysis technique used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 for Windows. The results of this research showed that, (1) Students' listening skills in English subjects taught using audio-visual media have an average arithmetic score of 80,44, (2) The average listening skill of students in English subjects taught only by listening media (speakers) was 77,31, (3) Students’ Listening skills in English subjects taught using the audio-visual media were higher than students’ Listening skills in English subjects taught using listening audio (speaker), with a value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05. This research used quantitative research method with pre-experimental research design which implicated only experimental class. The total population of this research was the eleventh grade students of Senior High School Number 9 which consisted of 240 students. The samples of this research were chosen by using simple random sampling. The samples were only experimental class consisted of 36 students. The technique of distributing data was speaking test where the students have to choose a topic, make a dialogue and do the role playing with pre-test, treatments, and post-test. This research used t test as the data analysis technique with statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) for Windows Version 21 Program. The result were found on this research are: (1) Students’ speaking skill taught by normal discussion reached the mean score of 6; (2) students’ speaking skill taught by using role play method reached the mean of 8; (3) students’ speaking skill taught by using role play method is higher than the students’ speaking skill taught by using normal discussion method with a value of sig 0.000 <0.05. This research used quantitative method with correlational research as the design. The population in this research was eleventh grade students of Senior High School 9 Jambi City with total 240 students and the sample in this research was 71 students taken by using simple random sampling technique. The technique data collection in this research using questionnaire and writing test. The data were analyzed by using person product moment correlation coefficient by SPSS 21. The result of the correlation coefficient (r) was 0.690 and that was higher than the rtable 0.230 on significant level 5%. The result of hypothesis test was 0.000 < 0.05. It means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted because the value of Sig. is less than the 0.05. Or in Indonesian known as true experiment, is the most rigorous and powerful experimental design because in true experiment research the research subject is randomly selected. Before providing treatment, the exam should determine the kids'' reading comprehension. In the pre-test experimental group, the researcher obtained 36 sample scores with means of 55, 35, 63, and 40. In the post-test score following treatment, the researcher obtained 36 sample scores with means of 75, 35, 90, and 35. The research methodology of this study was qualitative descriptive research which involved the subject. The subject of this research is XI MIPA 2 of Senior High School 1 Jambi City which contains of 36 students. In collecting the data, the researcher gave test and collected the student transcript. The result of the research showed that the eleventh grade students of Senior High School 1 Jambi City got a high percentage of error in pronouncing English post alveolar consonant sounds. The type of error that have very high significance to pronounce by the students is /ӡ/ sound which is 86%. In contrast with /∫/ sound where the students just made low percentage of an error pronunciation in 14%. From four categories of errors which is addition. The researcher said that inthis study he used two classes. Researchers use this test as a tool to obtain data consisting of vocabulary tests. The test used is a multiple-choice test designed to identify the impact of the use of picture games on students' vocabulary. These test results are further analyzed for the impact of picture play on increasing students' vocabulary. Researchers calculated the data using quantitative analysis. Researchers tested the hypothesis using a t-test formulation. The survey results showed that the average score of the experimental class was 55.33 before applying the picture play technique. The control class average score was 56.88. On the other hand, after applying the picture game technique, the test class average is 64.77. The control class average score was 62.77. The researchers found t-test results with t0 higher than tt - t0 was 5.835 and tt was 1.669 (5.835 > 1.669). This means that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected.
