The contribution of MSMEs to Indonesia's GDP experienced a depression due to the emergence of Covid-19 at the beginning of 2020. However, two years after the government declared pandemic for Indonesia, the performance of MSMEs has begun to recover from its downturn. This is shown by the increase in the contribution of MSMEs to Indonesia's GDP and employment in Indonesia. Moreover, the performance of MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City has also experienced an improvement as shown by an increase in MSME profits. This research aims to analyze the influence of knowledge management and entrepreneurial orientation on business performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as well as the mediating effect of competitive advantage in this relationship. This research uses a quantitative approach to draw conclusions from the proposed hypothesis. Sample was selected using the census method so that the total sample was 44 respondents who were SMEs registered in Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kota Bandar Lampung. Data collection method uses a questionnaire and the data is analyzed using SEM-PLS with the bootstrap method. The results show that knowledge management, entrepreneurial orientation, and competitive advantage have a direct and significant influence on business performance. Furthermore, competitive advantage was also found to play a mediating role in the relationship between knowledge management and entrepreneurial orientation on business performance.","PeriodicalId":216734,"journal":{"name":"Journal Research of Social Science, Economics, and Management","volume":"33 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139237942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As many as 62% of millennial workers in Indonesia, they are considering and planning to leave their company. This is certainly not desired by companies where the millennial generation works. Based on field observations, researchers found that there is a problem of lack of employee OCB behavior. This is indicated by company turnover data for the last year. In this research, data will be collected based on quantitative methods. Questionnaires were distributed to 53 GlobalXtreme millennial generation employees using a saturated sampling technique. Partial Least Square (PLS) software will be used for the SEM analysis of this study model. According to the findings, OCB is significantly affected by work-life balance. Involvement has been shown to strengthen the connection between work-life balance and organisational citizenship behaviour. As burnout has a detrimental effect on organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB), work-life imbalance has the same effect. Work-life balance affects OCB via a mediating factor called burnout.","PeriodicalId":216734,"journal":{"name":"Journal Research of Social Science, Economics, and Management","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, often the news can be affected by certain biases or viewpoints, which can affect the objectivity of the news narrative. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of journalistic language in building balanced legal news narratives, by considering aspects of objectivity and equality of information. The research method in this study is qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out by literature study obtained from Google Schoolar and legal news articles published in the 2020-2023 period in various trusted mass media. The data that has been collected will be analyzed qualitatively using content analysis techniques. The results showed that a balanced legal news narrative must meet specific criteria, including prioritizing fairness, accuracy, and neutrality in the delivery of information. Democratic journalistic language avoids differences in level or rank in the use of language and prioritizes active sentences to be more easily understood by readers. In addition, journalistic language must also adhere to standard language rules and ethics to reflect honesty, sincerity and respect for individual privacy. By adhering to these criteria, legal news narratives can be considered balanced, able to provide a comprehensive picture, and respect the interests of society as a whole.","PeriodicalId":216734,"journal":{"name":"Journal Research of Social Science, Economics, and Management","volume":"50 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236683","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Power generation companies are increasingly realizing the importance of reducing their environmental impact by adopting sustainable practices. One of the key steps in achieving this goal is to implement accounting that focuses on measuring, reporting, and managing carbon emissions. The study examines power companies' efforts in implementing zero carbon emissions accounting as part of their sustainability strategy. The approach involved identifying, measuring, and reporting carbon emissions from companies' operations, energy resources, and supply chains. This data is then used to develop carbon emission reduction strategies and identify energy efficiency opportunities. The results of the study show that the implementation of zero carbon emission accounting has helped power generation companies to identify potential carbon emission reductions, improve their operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and support business continuity. In addition, public disclosures about carbon emissions have strengthened the company's image in the eyes of stakeholders, such as customers, investors, and regulators.","PeriodicalId":216734,"journal":{"name":"Journal Research of Social Science, Economics, and Management","volume":"19 24","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A probability simple random sampling technique was used to distribute the survey face-to-face using a five-point Likert scale. The data was tested using correlation to analyze the relationship between the variables. Result/Findings: The result of research hypothesis one indicates that a unit rise in teleconferencing applications results in a 0.996 increase in employee responsiveness at a 5 % level of significance. The result of research hypothesis two revealed that a unit increase in internet applications results in a 0.865 increase in service quality at a 5 % level of significance. The researchers suggest businesses provide opportunities for their employees' ongoing education and training, so they can gain the most recent credentials and expertise in their field. Contribution: The study established a gap in the conceptual framework relating the variables of teleconferencing software, internet, and service quality.
