Sebagai alternatif pengurangan pemakaian pupuk kimia.Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial, yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu Faktor Pemberian pupuk Hayati (H) dengan dosis 82 ml larutan / plot terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu : H0 = (kontrol), H1 = 2 Minggu Setelah Tanam, H2 = 3 Minggu Setelah Tanam, H3 = 4 Minggu Setelah Tanam dan Faktor Pupuk NPK (N) dengan 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu N1 = 30 gram / plot (50% dari dosis anjuran), N2 = 45 gram / plot (75% dari dosis anjuran), N3 = 60 gram / plot (100% dari dosis anjuran).Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong per plot, jumlah biji pertanaman, jumlah biji per plot, dan berat 100 butir biji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk hayati berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat polong per tanaman, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, berat polong per plot, berat biji per tanaman, berat biji per plot, dan berat 100 butir biji tanaman kedelai. Pemberian pupuk hayati terbaik di peroleh pada perlakuan H2 yaitu pemberian pupuk hayati 2 minggu sebelum tanam dan di berikan lagi pupuk hayati 2 minggu setelah tanam. Pemberian pupuk NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, berat polong per tanaman, berat polong per plot, berat biji per tanaman, berat biji per plot, dan berat 100 butir biji. Bioconversion using the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot is applicable to overcome this problem. This study aims to examine the technical and economic performance of IPB D1 local chickens fed BSF maggot in their rations. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) to observe differences in the production and economic performance of 515 birds (IPB D1). Three treatments (P0, P1, and P2) were observed for ten weeks. BSF maggot meal cost production, production performance, and economic performance were observed in this study. The data were analyzed using descriptive and statistical analysis. The main findings of this research indicated the potential of maggot meal as an alternative source of protein in local chicken rations. Feed efficiency and production performance of IPB D1 chickens given P1 and P2 rations could compete with rations using other protein sources. The economic performance also shows the same thing. However, there are high–economic costs for producing maggot meal. Furthermore, the benefits value by rations P1 and P2 were relatively small compared to control rations. Based on technical and economic performance, maggot meal needs to be developed as a local chicken ration ingredient. Bahan utama pada penelitian ini adalah data populasi ternak sapi perah Friesian Holstein (FH) sebanyak 111 ekor yang dipelihara dari tahun 2017 sampai 2019. Data tambahan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah suhu, kelembaban udara, curah hujan dari bulan Januari 2017 sampai dengan Desember 2019. Data yang diolah menjadi parameter adalah populasi ternak yang dipengaruhi mikroklimat. Metode pengolahan data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, regresi dan korelasi. Jumlah populasi dalam ST (Satuan Ternak) tahun 2017 sampai 2019 berbeda. Tahun 2018 jumlah populasi mengalami peningkatan dari tahun sebelumnya, namun pada tahun 2019 populasi mengalami penurunan. Berdasarkan analisis regresi dan korelasi terdapat pengaruh nyata antara kelembaban dan curah hujan terhadap populasi sapi FH dengan nilai R2 33,36% dan R2 40,28%. Hasil Regresi Korelasi pengaruh mikroklimat terhadap populasi secara umum tidak berpengaruh nyata sehingga dapat disimpulkan kondisi mikroklimat di daerah tersebut tidak berpengaruh terhadap populasi sapi. The selection of potato clones were expected to produce clones that produce high production and are relatively resistant to certain pests. Twelve potato clones were selected in the Experimental Field of PT. AIMS located at Cinta Village, Karang Tengah District, Garut Regency from May to September 2021. A Randomized Complete Design (RCBD) consisting of twelve treatments and each treatment with five replications were used. The results of the study showed that two clones (Clone–1 and Clone–5) had high yield potential. Clone–1 and Clone–5 produced the highest number of tubers and bulb weights compared to other clones. Clone–5 also showed moderate response to Phytophthora infestants and resistance to Fusarium sp., and show resistance response to insect pests such as Spodoptera litura, Liriomyza sp, and Thrips sp. However, Clone–1 showed a susceptible response to wilt and blight diseases as well as the three species of insect pests. Pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh dapat membantu mempercepat tumbuhnya tunas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ZPT alami yang bersumber dari air kelapa dan bawang merah pada pembibitan bulbil porang. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April–Juni 2022, bertempat di Desa Bontotangnga, Kecamatan Bontolempangan, Kabupaten Gowa, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan empat (4) perlakuan perendaman benih dan empat (4) kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 16 plot perlakuan. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah kontrol (air biasa), air kelapa 250 mL/L air, ekstrak bawang merah 150 mL/L air, dan air kelapa 250 mL/L + ekstrak bawang merah 150 mL/L air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan dengan air kelapa 250 mL/L + ekstrak bawang merah 150 mL/L memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada pertumbuhan benih bulbil porang dengan rata-rata waktu muncul tunas 2,3 hari, tinggi tanaman 28,44 cm, diamater batang 7,18 mm, dan volume akar bibit 8,17 mL. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative analysis by means of research that produces descriptive data, which is stated by verbal information. The variables measured are BEP (Break Even Point), R/C ratio (Revenue Cost Ratio), HPP (Cost of Production), and IOFC (Income Over Feed Cost). This study was conducted in June–September 2020, through secondary data collection, and the analysis by descriptive quantitative approach. The objectives were to: 1) identify the condition of edible mushroom development performance, 2) describe the people preference on food mushroom consumption, 3) describe the potency of edible mushroom as functional food for improving human immunity to protect the Covid-19. The results showed that the development of mushroom as functional food still leave many rooms for improvement. In addition, the production volume should be increased so that it can meet regional demands. Mushroom is known for its nutritional content. Therefore, its consumption rate should be increased as one of the solutions to increase body endurance against viruses and diseases. Pada umumnya teh terbuat dari daun teh asli.Meskipun demikian, selain dari daun teh asli, pembuatan teh juga bisa dari bahan lain, seperti dari umbi bawang dayak. Teh bawang dayak memiliki manfaat bagi kesehatan karena terdapat beberapa senyawa kimia seperti alkaloid, glikosida, flavonoid, fenolik, steroid, triterpenoid, dan tanin. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan waktu pengovenan teh bawang dayak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah suhu pengoven berturut–turut sebesar 130, 140, dan 150 °C. Faktor kedua adalah waktu pengovenan dengan durasi berturut–turut selama 20, 25, 30 menit yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Variabel yang diamati adalah rasa, aroma, dan warna menggunakan analisis ragam anova, uji lanjut DMRT, dan Metode Bayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat rasa didominasi oleh perlakuan A2M3, tingkat aroma di dominasi oleh dua perlakuan yaitu A2M3 dan A3M3, tingkat warna didominasi oleh perlakuan A1M3. Hasil akhir dari tiga parameter pengukuran rasa, aroma, dan warna didapat perlakuan terbaik peringkat 1 yaitu perlakuan A2M3 dengan nilai 18,17 dengan suhu pengovenan 140 °C dan waktu pengovenan 30 menit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian fitobiotik minyak buah merah terhadap berat badan dan komsumsi air minum ayam kampung joper yang diberi fitobiotik nanoenkapsulasi minyak buah merah (Pandanus conoideus) yang diaplikasikan dalam air minum sebagai bahan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ayam kampung joper. Penelitian ini menggunakan RAL pola searah dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Setiap ulangan terdiri dari 2 ekor sebagai unit percobaan, perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol negatif (P0),1,25% minyak buah merah (P1), 2,5% fitobiotik nanoenkapsulasi minyak buah merah (P2), 3,75% fitobiotik nanoenkapsulasi minyak buah merah (P3), dan 5% fitobiotik nanoenkapsulasi minyak buah merah (P4). Hasil penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan berat badan rata-rata ayam dan konsumi air minum untuk P0, P1, P2, P3 dan P4 berturut-turut 0,700 kg; 0,825 kg; 1,025 kg; 1,125 kg; dan 1,225 kg serta 5,900 ml; 4,880 ml; 5,700 ml; 5,720 ml dan 6,220 ml. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data bahwa penambahan fitobiotik nanoenkapsulasi minyak buah merah 5% (P4) dalam air minum merupakan perlakuan terbaik dilihat dari pertumbuhan bobot badan ayam dan konsumsi air minum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas fisik, kimia dan mikrobiologi susu pada peternakan sapi perah di Kecamatan Caringin, Kabupaten Bogor. Sampel susu berasal dari tiga peternakan sapi perah di Kecamatan Caringin, Kabupaten Bogor. Sifat fisik yang diamati yaitu pH dan berat jenis. Sifat kimia yang diamati yaitu BKTL, kadar protein, kadar lemak dan laktosa diuji menggunakan Lactoscan Milk Analyzer. Sifat mikrobiologi yaitu Total Plate Count (TPC) dan jumlah S. aureus metode pengujiannya mengacu kepada SNI 2897:2008. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas sifat fisik dan kimia susu sapi pada ketiga peternakan sapi perah di Kecamatan Caringin, Kabupaten Bogor memenuhi SNI 3141.1: 2011. Kualitas mikrobiologi TPC pada peternakan A dan B memenuhi SNI 3141.1:2011 yaitu peternakan A 1,9 x 105 CFU/ml dan peternakan B 2,6 x 105 CFU/ml, sedangkan peternakan C tidak memenuhi SNI 3141.1:2011 dengan hasil rataan TPC 2,2 x 106 CFU/ml. Begitu juga dengan jumlah S. aureus pada susu di peternakan A, B dan C tidak memenuhi SNI 3141.1: 2011. Rataan jumlah S. aureus pada peternakan A yaitu 1,3 x 103 CFU/ml, peternakan B 1,4 x 103 CFU/ml dan peternakan C 2,4 x 103CFU/ml.
