{"title":"Ensuring the energy efficiency of heat supply energy systems functioning by justifying the choice of glazing units for the external enclosing structures of buildings","authors":"V. Buniak","doi":"10.33108/visnyk_tntu2023.02.057","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33108/visnyk_tntu2023.02.057","url":null,"abstract":"The article is devoted to the further development and implementation of technologies that allow some considerable reducing energy consumption and, as a result, reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In Ukraine and abroad, a huge amount of heat is lost through the external enclosing structures of buildings. The largest specific heat losses occur through translucent enclosures, in particular, windows, the main elements of which are double-glazed windows. Today, manufacturers offer double-glazed windows, which are characterized by different costs and energy efficiency. The buyer does not know which double-glazed window to choose. We have proposed a clear and understandable method of solving this issue. For example, two different double-glazed windows were considered and a comparison was made on their cost, thermal resistance of heat transfer, and the ability to save certain amounts of heat and money for its purchase during operation. A feasibility study of additional capital investments in double-glazed windows with improved characteristics instead of conventional double-glazed ones has been carried out. Its results show that, at the current stage of the society development, the use of double-glazed windows with improved characteristics, despite their higher cost, is economically more appropriate than conventional double-glazed windows. This applies to external translucent fences of buildings of any purpose and form of ownership - both residential and industrial, public, which are on the balance sheets of local and state budgets, etc. The results of all calculations are explained in detail and presented in the form of a table. In addition, a simple and clear scheme of technical and economic substantiation of additional capital investments in a double-glazed window with improved characteristics is presented instead of an ordinary one, which can be used at the design stages of new construction or thermal renovation of existing buildings to ensure the selection of the most rational structural solutions. {"title":"Sensors on the surface acoustic waves for intelligent systems","authors":"M. The choice of semiconductors with a zinc blende structure is explained by the sensitivity of such electronic subsystem to the deformation of the crystal lattice, which can be caused by the self-consistent redistribution of defects, inconsistency of the parameters of the crystal lattice, or external factors, for example, the influence of mechanical or electric fields. Based on established regularities of the influence of the concentration and type of adsorbed atoms on the spectrum of surface electronic states and the distribution of electron density on the dynamically deformed adsorbed surface of a single crystal, the development of a new class of intelligent sensors with increased accuracy of measuring the concentration of adsorbed atoms and temperature on surface acoustic waves is proposed. Such a new approach is based on the self-consistent effect of the deformation of the crystal lattice on the dispersion law and the spectral width of the phonon mode, the electric charge density, and the energy displacement of the edges of the allowed zones. It is calculated the temperature-concentration coefficient of the resonance frequency of the surface acoustic wave and the regularities of its change depending on the concentration of adsorbed atoms are established. A series of samples were produced from a batch of rolled angle bars with dimensions of 25x25x4. By applying standardized methods on the certified electro-hydraulic testing complex STM-100, experimental investigations of the mechanical characteristics of VSt3ps steel were conducted both at room temperature and within the range of technological and fire temperatures. The obtained results were subjected to statistical analysis, and an input data array for the ultimate strength and yield strength of VSt3ps steel was formed within the temperature range from +20 to +450°C. It was found that the research results follow a normal distribution law. The essence of the method is the intensification of corrosion processes during cavitation-erosive wear of samples on a magneto-strictive vibrator (MSV) with the help of their anodic polarization. The value of the polarization current is found by the values of the coefficient of amplification of the mechanical factor of the destruction of the surface during tests on a magneto-strictive vibrator (MSV) and the data of field tests. Corrosion current in a given environment is found during full-scale tests. To reduce the labor intensity and time of research, operational data is obtained on a specially designed and manufactured installation, which is a simplified version of a hydrodynamic tube (HT). Such turbines are used mainly at low-pressure small hydroelectric power stations. Their main drawback is the impossibility of generated power regulation. However, solutions that minimize this shortcoming are proposed in this paper. Matrix of 4 model series of tubular propeller hydroturbines has been created. The nomenclature of turbines presented in this matrix is aimed at improving technical characteristics of small hydropower plants and reducing their negative impact on the environment. The rules for equipping machine platforms of low-pressure small hydroelectric power plants with capacity up to 200 kW with models of turbines from the created matrix are proposed, and their technical and environmental justification is performed. According to the recommendations given in the paper, at least two different adjacent turbines from the same model line should be installed at one HPP. The best option is three different adjacent turbines from the same model series, but technical and economic analysis should be performed for more detailed justification of the choice of the number of turbines. This is the subject of our further investigations. Thus, the aim of the study under consideration was to determine the relationship between the working surface of the working body and the amount of heat Q transferring per unit of time from the roller wall to the medium. The problem of the development of a generalized model of a working process of rollers’ action on the medium has been solved due to the study under discussion. The problem is aimed at obtaining the structural, expenditure, and energy characteristics, as well as at determining the ways of increasing the efficiency of such class of machines operation under deformation modes conditions. Some peculiar features of the compression area have been taken into consideration in cases when the temperature pressure value by the angle of rotation varies constantly. It was proved, that the heat-transfer coefficient value can be calculated quite approximately as it is necessary to take into account an available area influencing the heat exchange and the movement speed on the working dough roller surface in the injection area. Some temperature state variations of the dough in bagels production during its compressing, injection, and transportation have been determined. It was admitted, that the impact of the liquid phase temperature of the working medium is determined by the value of its kinematic viscosity .
