This is very related to workers who is repeat the same tasks and depending on manual handling processes. Posture analysis evaluations using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) tools have been used to analyse the working postures of workers at poultry feed manufacturing industry. The aim of this study was to identify workers’ risks of working posture problems, and to propose a standard of procedure to reduce MSDs and CTDs. The assessment was conducted using RULA and REBA worksheets. Three selected workers are divided into three different tasks. From the analysis had been done, the score obtain for RULA method is 7, 6 and 7 for Workers 1, Workers 2 and Workers 3 respectively. Meanwhile for REBA method, the score is 12, 6 and 5 for workers respectively. It is shows that the working postures is in high-risk, which need to be considered. It is expected that this research will help by proposing proper SOP and work position for reducing the risk of WMSDs in industry. In addition, this research is expected to increase the awareness regarding on the good working postures among workers.","PeriodicalId":21574,"journal":{"name":"Science Proceedings Series","volume":"66 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81525719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Natural disasters across the regions such as flooding, earthquakes, droughts etc. have caused damages to life as a result of which numerous researches have been conducted to assist in reducing the phenomenon. Consequently, therefore, this study considered using Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model in forecasting drought using Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) as a forecasting tool which was used to measure and classify drought. The models are developed to forecast the SPI series. Results indicated the forecasting ability of the ARIMA models which increases as the timescales. The study is aimed at using ARIMA method for modeling SPI data series. The studies used data set made up of 624 months, obtained from 1954 to 2008. In the analysis only SPI3 series was non-seasonal while others have seasonality and Seasonal ARIMA was carried out, SPI12 was significant compared with the forecasting accuracy alongside the diagnostic checking having a minimum error of RMSE and MAE in both testing and training phases. The research contributes to the discovering of feasible forecasting of drought and demonstrates that the established model is good and appropriate for forecasting drought.","PeriodicalId":21574,"journal":{"name":"Science Proceedings Series","volume":"327 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76365404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since physics is difficult among secondary school students, this study is conducted to investigate the level of thinking ability in physics subject. This study has been done by given question paper based on taxonomy bloom which consists of 10 questions divided into three stages of taxonomy bloom which are C1 (remembering), C2 (undertanding) and C3 (applying). Based on the test that have been held, the result showed that most students not reach the minimum mark for the three stages especially in C3 (applying). This shows that physics is hard to learn. In this case of study, Taxonomy Bloom system has enabled the teachers to set examination papers that are well balanced, testing the different cognitive skills without a tilt towards a tough or easy paper perception.","PeriodicalId":21574,"journal":{"name":"Science Proceedings Series","volume":"87 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79931309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
