Part of this is because many people, particularly parents, have false beliefs about vaccinations and avoid vaccinating their children. If this kind of speculation keeps getting worse, it could pose serious risks to public health. Assumptions about what constitutes reality and what constitutes rumor are spreading like wildfire through the media, especially the Internet, and may be to blame. Therefore, they need to have knowledge of vaccination, which can be received through numerous sources such as the internet, television, radio, newspapers, books, and others. This research aims to measure parents' familiarity with and comfort using various forms of media and their habits around their online searches for data related to childhood vaccinations. The primary tool for data collection in this study was a questionnaire, making quantitative research methodologies the backbone of this investigation. The survey used questions taken from earlier research. Parents with children aged one day to fifteen in five regions of Malaysia accounted for 396 of the study's respondents. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), used in this study, is a method for analyzing hypothesis models, testing and correlating all media literacy constructs, knowledge, and behavior change among parents in Malaysia. All correlations were statistically significant, and the results suggest that just two media literacy characteristics genuinely influence change in Malaysian parents. In sum, this research contributes to a deeper comprehension of media literacy. Keberagaman budaya Gorontalo yang lekat kaitannya dengan nuansa islami ini memberi dampak juga terhadap sektor pariwisata, salah satu ada di desa Bubohu, Kabupaten Gorontalo yang mengusung konsep desa wisata religius. Promosi pariwisata jika tidak dibarengi dengan strategi komunikasi yang baik, maka akan mempengaruhi eksistensi dari objek wisata itu sendiri. Berdasarkan itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi promosi pariwisata melalui media sosial yang dilakukan oleh pengelola dalam meningkatkan pengunjung di desa wisata religi Bubohu serta peran dari masyarakat setempat dalam mengenalkan potensi wisata di desa wisata religi Bubohu. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Dalam penelitian ini data primernya adalah hasil wawancara dengan pemerintah setempat dan pengelola desa wisata religi Bubohu di Kabupaten Gorontalo, data sekundernya adalah konten media sosial dari desa wisata religi Bubohu serta penelitian terdahulu yang terkait dengan penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini metode penarikan informan menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemerintah setempat dan pengelola objek wisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam melakukan promosi pariwisata dibutuhkan sinergi antara pemerintah, pengelola, serta masyarakat agar pesan promosi bisa lebih menjangkau masyarakat luas. Mewujudkan arah tersebut dibutuhkan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang mendukung berjalannya moto pariwisata Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama satu tahun di tahun 2021. Bertujuan mengkaji sejauh mana pemberdayaan dalam pariwisata berkelanjutan di Indonesia dengan pendekatan bibliometric. Tahapan yang dilakukan dengan tahap pencarian 15 artikel dan tahap pemetaan topik yang dianalisis menggunakan Vosviewer. Temuan yang didapat menunjukkan keterhubungan jejaring pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pariwisata berkelanjutan terhubung dengan jejaring tema pembangunan berkelanjutan dan model pemberdayaan yang dilakukan masih minim yang di mana tren terkait pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pariwisata menjadi penelitian yang baru berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tipe studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori modal sosial Putnam. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial Putnam sebagai instrumen BUMDes dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat yaitu aspek norma gotong royong dan keswadayaan menjadi pondasi dasar dalam pemberdayaan, yang mana berpengaruh pada ketercapainya program. Selanjutnya aspek jaringan sosial memuat hubungan yang dijalin BUMDes dengan persatuan BUMDes di Indonesia guna peningkatan kualitas program, dan peningkatan aspek kepercayaan masyarakat melalui program yang digagas dan dikelola yakni Bank sampah dan D’Gondoe café. Most of the previous findings on the study of multiculturalism in the media suggest that different cultural backgrounds must be considered for global brands to reach diverse markets since visual language is not universal. In addition, other studies explore the interpretation of multiculturalism ideas in the media and practice participatory design research to communicate multiculturalism value through visual communication media. Nevertheless, in Indonesia, the interpretation study of multiculturalism in designs, especially those created by women designers, as a manifestation of multiculturalism awareness seems to be underexplored. To narrow the gap, this study uses the visual semiotic theory of Roland Barthes to investigate the multicultural significance represented in visual images in the work of Indonesian women designers by outlining the levels of denotative and connotative meanings which develop into myth. This research reveals that the idea of multiculturalism in the design work of Nita Darsono and Sanchia Hamidjaja can provide other counter-knowledge in representing the diversity amongst the hegemony of a single and standardized body myth, such as white skin, ideal body, and race, in media. This approach better understands the audiences and appreciates cultural diversity. Overall, this study sheds light on the importance of multiculturalism in visual communication design media, particularly in representing diversity and challenging hegemonic norms. Informannya adalah pengurus Siaga Peduli Magelang yang telah bergabung dalam kegiatan kerelawanan selama minimal satu tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori solidaritas sosial Emile Durkheim. Metode analisis data studi ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi altruisme dalam komunitas ini yaitu empati, kepuasan diri, dan meyakini keadilan dunia bahwa kebaikan akan dibalas setimpal oleh Tuhan. Motivasi altruisme kerelawanan dalam komunitas Siaga Peduli Magelang berkaitan erat dengan empati yang mendorong perilaku prososial para informan. Motivasi perilaku prososial dalam komunitas Siaga Peduli Magelang dibagi menjadi dimensi pleasure dan pressure. Terdapat dampak altruisme dalam membangun solidaritas sosial dalam Siaga Peduli Magelang. The students who were respondents in this study were 2018 students at the University of Palangkaraya and IAIN Palangkaraya. This research was conducted using a survey method with a simple random sampling technique. The number of samples taken was as many as 192. Methods of data analysis using a cross table and Chi Square. There are two research results obtained first, there is no difference in perceptions of female smokers between Palangkaraya University students and IAIN Palangkaraya students. The chi square value is 1.34 and the significance value is 0.24, indicating the relationship between the variables is not significant. Second, there is no difference in perceptions of female smokers between male and female students. The chi squared value of 0.44 and a significance value of 0.50 indicate that the relationship between variables is not significant. Based on the place of study and gender, there is basically no difference in perception. Women who smoke have a negative perspective compared to men who smoke. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi wirausaha perempuan dalam mengadopsi e-commerce ditinjau dari faktor organisasi, teknologi, manfaat yang dialami, keamanan dan lingkungan eksternal. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada wirausaha perempuan yang memiliki UMKM di Kota Pekanbaru. Dengan ketentuan, UMKM itu harus terdaftar di Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag), serta dijalankan dengan mengadopsi e-commerce. Jumlah wirausaha perempuan yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 72 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi adopsi e-commerce pada wirausaha perempuan adalah faktor manfaat yang dialami dengan indikator yang paling menentukan yaitu efesiensi biaya. Faktor selanjutnya ditentukan oleh faktor kesiapan organisasi dengan indikator yang paling menentukan yaitu kesadaran menerima perubahan dan perkembangan TI. However, of the several research topics related to agrarian affairs, it is apparent that very few discuss how employment opportunities and types of labor shifting in the agriculture sector exist from a sociological perspective. Agrarian studies in this research have the objective to describe and analyze employment opportunities and types of labor shifting in the agriculture sector in Balearjo Village, Pagelaran Sub-District, Malang Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the data collection technique of participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The unit of analysis is employment opportunities and labor shifting in the agriculture sector, discussed with the Historical Materialism Theory of Karl Marx. Research results indicated that there is a variety of employment opportunities in the agriculture sector, not only limited to land ownership and land tilling. The same is true for patterns of labor shifting; the condition is not as simple as society shifting to non-agriculture sectors. Instead, shifts occur that are temporary in nature and continuous in a cycle depending on the harvest season. The existence of various employment opportunities that implicate labor shifting is certainly due to the existence of a material basis that determines a non-material basis. Mami Salsa started working as a drag queen in the late 90s and retired from performing in 2020. Having had a wife and children, he dresses as a man and is now considered a senior drag queen; he is not in good health, so he rarely performs and instead mentors young drag queen performers. As for Mami Sisca, “she” stopped performing as a drag queen in November 2019 and now works as a popular English teacher for kids as well as a cat and dog rescuer. She still dresses as a woman, and having gained wide social recognition during her “front stage” drag queen days, “she” is now a respected figure of Singaraja’s community. Socially integrated, both Mami Salsa and Mami Sisca show the type of positive evolution of urban tourism that shows people, place and poverty as aspects of the lives of drag queens. One of the ways that could help ordinary drag queens to follow the steps of Mami Salsa and Mami Sisca would indeed be for the hotel and restaurant association to give full recognition to their performing arts profession.
