It is important for all to save their property, documents, money and other important things. With the growth of technology, the methodologies used by criminals are equally improved. Therefore, it is important to improve necessary surveillance techniques with the global change. The latest and effective technology used against the robbery and theft are video surveillance and monitoring system. But the cost of installation and maintenance of these systems becomes impossible for some people to afford. Arduino Mega 2560 is a micro controller board that has the capability to become a camera system when its own mini module known as Arducam gets attached to it. Instead of implementing various complex algorithms, a new and effective methodology has been developed for motion detection which is to use Pyroelectric infrared (PIR) sensors. Whenever the motion is detected by the PIR sensor, it captures the image with the help of connected Arducam and sends the push message to android using Firebase API. Further the user can control the arduino from the internet using the Near Bus concept (Rather than the customary idea of “associate” a remote gadget to the cloud (to control it), the Near Bus system “maps” the gadget into the cloud, completing a reflecting (or replication) of little piece of the miniaturized scale controller's memory into the cloud memory [1]. By using this methodology, cost of installation can be reduced and it is energy efficient system.","PeriodicalId":214619,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communication Engineering (ICACCE)","volume":"283 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124528824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three cost based scenario namely S1: High Cost Low Power Rating (HCLP), S2: Medium Cost with Moderate Power Rating (MCMP) and S3: Low Cost with High Power Rating (LCHP) have been presumed to calculate versatile hourly load demand. Adaptive Inertia Weight based Particle Swarm Optimization (PSOw) algorithm has been applied for the system, to solve the objectives: optimal sizing of IRES, minimization of Overall Net Present Cost (ONPC) and Cost of Energy (CoE). Peak load shifting based Energy Management (EM) Strategy has been adopted and the results are compared with the solutions obtained without EM strategy.","PeriodicalId":214619,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communication Engineering (ICACCE)","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124787518","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Social sites are one of the biggest contributor of big data generation. Big data is a technology which deals with extremely large data which is used to analyze different patterns, associations, trends and largely in human behavior and interactions computationally where social media data came in use. As sharing information as per one's daily basis activities and many other forms online is the main objective of social media whereas, users are unable to understand the process and they keep on uploading their personal data without having the idea that all this is contributing big data and is continually collecting at various platforms which might affect users privacy. In this paper, here analyzed big data privacy in social media and some major issues related its privacy and heavy rate of growing data per day.","PeriodicalId":214619,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communication Engineering (ICACCE)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131829867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

IoT is a humongous network of connected things and people as the present world is data-driven. These data plays different roles in different context. IoT establishes the connection within and between the devices through internet but tremendous advantages such as speed of transmission, energy consumption and distance traveled. Applying of IoT is crucial in communication through networking, connectivity protocol via Internet-enabled devices. Each option has its trade-offs in terms of power consumption, range and bandwidth, all are considered while choosing the connected devices and protocols for a particular IoT application. The application of IoT may fail to transmit the data due to disruption in the connectivity of interlinks. As single interlink failures lead to severe issues on the performance of network connectivity, we propose fault route resistant application definite topology in order to enhance the connectivity that dynamically permits the best shortest route. The proposed work improves throughput by a maximum of 37.7% while decreases the energy up to 12.7 % and an average distance of route until 5%.","PeriodicalId":214619,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communication Engineering (ICACCE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129828616","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, we examine the relations between the public opinion among information propagators and the structural patterns of online diffusion based on a Weibo dataset. To complement the existing structural measures of online diffusion cascades, we first propose six new structural patterns based on the analysis of multi-dimensional structural metrics. We then propose a set of new public opinion metrics by a hybrid sentiment analyzer to reveal the correlation between public opinion and diffusion structures. We further apply our understanding to predict the diffusion structure of diffusion events based on public opinion. The results of our experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed opinion-based analysis in the prediction of both structural virality and our proposed structural patterns.","PeriodicalId":214619,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communication Engineering (ICACCE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125229520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
