Various types of polymers exhibit acceptable solutions as bearing materials because of their high weight ratio and self-lubrication materials. In the current work, tribological properties of bearing material high-density polyethylene (HDPE) reinforced by 0.1 aluminium oxide (Al 2 O 3 ) nanoparticles and 0.1– 0.5 wt. % single wall carbon nanotubes ( SWCNTs) were investigated in order to enhance the tribological and mechanical properties The Nano-composite specimens were prepared in cylindrical shape and they were subjected to friction and wear tests using pin on disc tribometer. The specimens were tested as counterparts and the disk was made from stainless steel. Wear tests were done each exactly 120 sec., and the weight losses calculated by weighing the specimens before and after the test. In this study, the tribological properties of high density polyethylene (HDPE) were experimentally studied in relation to the effects of GO nanoparticles and vegetables oils. By using the melt compounding process, the nanocomposites (HDPE – GO - vegetables oils) were manufactured. The molded nanocomposite were then tested for friction and wear tests. According to the findings, the addition of GO improved the friction and wear behavior of the composites. With GO loading fractions of 0, 0.06, 0.12, 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0 wt. %, the wear and coefficient of friction values were drastically reduced. Vibration analysis is the most common method used in monitoring applications since a local defect produces successive impulses at every contact of defect. The aim of this paper is to focus on investigating the position of the local defect on the outer race is changed 0˚, 45˚ and 180˚. The different angular defect position is studied at zero clearance, ε = 0.5, by using the statistical parameters RMS.
