The element is reconfigured by a FET transistor instead of a PIN diode. The beam scanning performance can be obtained by controlling the bias voltage on each element. The measured results demonstrate the beam scanning capability. Firstly, a wideband BPF is achieved by using a SIR, by controlling the high order resonant modes through the impedance ratio and electrical length of the resonator. Secondly, a longer stub is loaded to the centre of the resonator, a transmission zero (TZ) and a resonant frequency produced in the lower passband of the BPF. Thirdly, another shorter stub is loaded to the center of the resonator, a TZ and a resonant frequency is achieved in the upper passband of the BPF. Thus the wide passband is splitted into three ones and a BPF with triple passband is realized. The structure is analyzed by equivalent transmission line model. The transmitarray antenna is composed of a wideband feed antenna and a wideband transmission metasurface. The feed is an improved ultrawide band Vivaldi antenna. The wideband transmission metasurface consists of 30×15 cells, each of which consists of a tightly coupled dipole antenna and parallel metal lines. The concept of equivalent delay distance is introduced to design the transmitarray. To validate the design, a prototype operating from 3 to 9 GHz are fabricated and measured. Good agreement between simulated and measured results is observed. The measured results show that the antenna has a stable radiation pattern in the operating frequency band. The antenna gain is from 13.9dB to 22.2dB, and the aperture efficiency is greater than 21%. The proposed scheme indexes multiple samples in a single clock cycle, which not only reduces DSP resource consumption, but also extends the bandwidth of conventional serial DPD to a higher rate, without being limited by the maximum clock rate. The corresponding digital predistortion (DPD) model is based on the generalized memory polynomial (GMP). Indirect learning and regularization method are also applied to make coefficients identification stable. The whole system can perform real-time DPD iterations, without commercial equipment as PC or Matlab. A 4.9GHz GaN Doherty power amplifier (DPA) MMIC module is used to validate the predistorter with a 100-MHz bandwidth signal. The frequency variation characteristics of the MATCH standard are taken into account and analyzed further. The steps of the Thru Line-LRRM calibration are presented. Through the optimization of the channel gain, the output power $text{Psat}geqslant 30text{dBm}$ in the whole frequency band is realized, and a high-power combiner circuit in this frequency band is proposed. The measurement results show that the ACLR is better than −60dB when the output power is less than −5dBm. The gain of the antenna is improved by loading plate dielectric lens above the pure water patch antenna. The patch and the ground are realized by wrapping pure water in transparent plexiglass, and the dielectric lens is composed of transparent ionic liquids and plexiglass. Therefore, the whole antenna is almost transparent except the metal feed structure. The antenna can achieve 39 % impedance bandwidth for | S11| < − 10 dB in the range of 12 – 18 GHz, and the radiation efficiency is almost 60 %. Due to the loading of plate dielectric lens, the gain of the antenna can be increased to 13.2 dBi. The proposed antenna is constructed by a stripline between two LTCC substrates which acts as fed structure and a metal package with step-constant slot shape which acts as radiation structure. A wide impedance bandwidth from 82 to 96 GHz with active VSWR $< 2$ is realized and a high antenna gain better than 6 dB is achieved. To highlight the wide-angle scanning characteristics, a $1 times 8$ antenna array in E-plane using our proposed antenna has also been investigated. Beam patterns steering from 0 to 20 degree with low backward radiation have been observed.
