Khavkinа in Odessa 1925 year. The article uses authentic materials stored in the funds of the Odessa Regional State Archive and in the funds of the Book Museum of the Odessa State Scientific Library. Among them are such unique documents as the minutes of the meetings of the presidium of the Library Association of Odessa in 1925 year, the report of the Bibinspektura on conducting a seminar with the participation of L. Khavkinа and, finally, own financial receipts made by L. Khavkinа. These documents state that the information provided during the methodological meetings by L. Khavkinа made an unforgettable impression on the Odessa library community and encouraged it to further the fruitful development of the Odessa library business and prompted the centralization of Soviet libraries in the Odessa region and further centralized exchange of methodological, scientific and educational, library and bibliographic literature and information. However, unfortunately, L. Khavkinа's stay in Odessa and holding a library seminar was accidental and took place on the recommendation of Agitprom Gubkom and the Odessa library community did not make a special professional impression on L. The article is devoted to the Ukrainian Soviet periodicals of 1962, the electronic base of which is formed at this stage. The article prepared by the author raises the issue of children's periodicals of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which, to date, remains insufficiently studied by scientists. Taking into account the special urgency and demand of this topic, the researcher conducted a content analysis of children's magazines published in the USSR during 1962 under the auspices of the Central Committee of the Leninist Communist Youth Union of Ukraine and the Republican Council of the All-Union Pioneer Organization. Lenin. We are talking about the magazine \"Malyatko\", designed for preschool children, the magazine \"Barvinok\", which was published for children of preschool and primary school age, the magazine \"Pioneer\", which reached the teenage audience. All these magazines still exist under their former names, with the exception of the magazine \"Pioneer\", which is now published under the name \"Classmate\". The processed editions were published in large editions, distributed among readers at symbolic prices and were distinguished by their powerful educational potential. The editorial boards of these journals have mastered and widely used acceptable for today's practical pedagogy forms of work with the younger generation. Children were instilled with high moral qualities, such as honesty, friendliness, diligence, devotion to the Fatherland, respect for the elderly, equal treatment of people of all races, nations and nationalities, care for nature and more. Magazines formed a culture of family reading, taught children to communicate with each other and adults. Tsyvin","doi":"10.36273/2076-9555.2020.11(292).28-35","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36273/2076-9555.2020.11(292).28-35","url":null,"abstract":"The article is devoted to identifying approaches to the phenomenon of digitalization in the educational context. \u0000The differences in the understanding of the concepts of \"informatization\" and \"digitalization\" are considered and the problems arising in the digital transformations of education are emphasized. \u0000The approaches of domestic scientists to digitalization of education are given and it is revealed, the main problem is seen in acquisition of digital skills by all participants of educational process, the main problem directions of researches are chosen. The most important component of the current state bibliography is the \"Book Chronicle\", which contains comprehensive bibliographic information about books and brochures published in Ukraine from all fields of knowledge: scientific, popular science, educational, reference, religious, official, socio-political, production and practical, literary, artistic and popular publications for children and youth, etc. \u0000Current trends in the development of the publishing industry, science and culture necessitate bibliometric analysis of the database of the state bibliography of book editions \"Book Chronicle\". The proposed analytical review covers the thematic distribution of publications in the database for 2019, which contains 17 634 bibliographic records, according to UDC classes. \u0000A comparative analysis of the number of publications by sections of the UDC in order to determine the thematic focus of book publishing in Ukraine in 2019 in accordance with the branches of science. A. Rolle, his contribution to the study of history and culture of Ukraine, to assess its place and significance in Ukrainian-Polish relations of that period and in modern Ukrainian historiography, to consider his descriptions of the archives of the XIX century, which are covered in the magazine \"Kraj\". The methodology consists in the application of chronological, historical and systematic methods, which allowed to distinguish the properties of documentary and historical sources in relation to the description of the Kyiv archive. The general characteristics of Dr. Anthony Rolle's activity as a researcher of the history of Podillya are also considered. Scientific novelty. The article systematically considers the scientific activity of J. A. Rolle, his direct participation in the collection, processing and organization of documents, his establishment as a researcher of the archives of the XIX century and regional studies on the history of Ukraine. Conclusions. The scientific activity of J. A. Rolle on the example of descriptions of archives of the XIX century, which are presented in the pages of the weekly \"Kraj\", and is an important source base for specialists to study history and culture of Ukraine in the second half of the XIX century. The works and conceptual principles of the author are analyzed.
