The excess properties for the binary systems were determined and successfully fitted to a polynomial equation of the Redlich–Kister type. The variation of excess thermodynamic parameters predicted stronger intermolecular interactions and effective packing in the binary system compared to components. Thermodynamic activation parameters were also calculated from the Eyring equation, which varied with the concentration of [C2mim]C2H5SO4. The variation of these parameters also suggested the presence of strong heteromolecular interactions. The near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopic measurements were conducted in the temperature range from 293.15 K to 333.15 K and spectral variations were analyzed. The NIR data were further evaluated using principal component analysis (PCA) and two-dimensional (2D) correlation spectroscopy. The predicted molecular-level interactions mainly come from different types of HBs formed between unlike molecules in the binary system. The binary mixture may open up a plethora of possible uses due to its novel, distinctive molecular-level interactions, and favorable thermodynamic properties. \u0000

Pesticides, organic compounds, paints, industrial and mining waste, and heavy metals (HMs) are the primary drivers of soil pollution. It is critical to clear up soils contaminated by HMs. It is beneficial to investigate the areas of HM bioremediation employing hybrid technologies, genetically engineered microorganisms with improved bioremediation potential techniques. In the present study three abundantly growing indigenous microbial isolates (Bacteria- Rhizobium and Azotobacter and Fungi- Aspergillus) were cultured using suitable growth media to obtain large biomass. These indigenous species have ability to grow in mass quantity under ideal conditions at minimal efforts. The isolates were then tested for their tolerance to heavy metals Cr, Hg, Cu, Zn, and Mg under experimental settings using MIC and the broth dilution technique at various concentrations (100,300 and 500ppm for bacteria and additionally 1000,3000 and 5000ppm for fungi). All the three isolates showed various degree of tolerance for selected heavy metals. Aspergillus fumigatus responded best among all. \u0000

Because of the state's unique geography and altitude, it is subject to a wide variety of temperatures, which in turn allows for a wide variety of plant life to flourish across the state. As a result of the broad altitudinal range that it spans, the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh is home to a wide variety of different species, habitats, groups, populations, and ecosystems. It is believed that the state of Himachal Pradesh is home to more than 3,400 unique types of flora and fauna. More than a thousand distinct plant species that have been identified as aromatic or useful may be found thriving in Alaska's temperate forests, Shiwalik hills, alpine and sub-alpine pastures, and other regions of the state. The bulk of the people who reside in Himachal Pradesh are descended from a wide range of distinct cultures and ethnic groups; as a result, each of these groups have its own unique body of indigenous knowledge. Traditional and rural civilizations are obliged to rely largely on the plants that are already native to the region since there is limited access to contemporary medical services in rural areas, particularly in high-altitude areas. This survey will be beneficial to medical practitioners as well as the pharmaceutical industry in terms of strengthening public health facilities and maintaining the continuous growth of wild medicinal plant species in the region that is the subject of the current research. \u0000

With the COVID-19 being pandemic, there is an increase in the routine use of soap and sanitizers. No doubt washing hands for 20 seconds with proper technique and proper soap could kill the Coronavirus but the effect of regular use of soap on the skin is not addressed by the general public. It has been shown by the in vitro as well as in vivo studies that the frequent use of soap and detergents may harm the skin. The harsh surfactants in cleansers can damage skin proteins and lipids and can cause dryness, irritation, barrier damage, and itching problems. Furthermore, the use of soap can change the natural pH and deplete the natural flora of the skin giving the pathogen an opportunity to transiently colonize the skin surface. This paper explains the damages that may be caused to skin due to excessive use of soap and detergents, the ways to mitigate those damages, and potential alternative to detergent-based soaps. \u0000

As a potential solution to the problem of plastic pollution, glycerol plasticized starch-based bioplastics were investigated for their biodegradability. There are numerous uses of starch, a biopolymer derived from organic waste, due to its unique characteristics, such as its flexibility, degradable nature, and low cost. In the present work, starch was extracted from Solanum tuberosum (potato) peels, and starch-based bioplastics with different concentrations, i.e., 2.4 %, 24.3 %, 36.5 %, 48.6 %, and 97.2 % of glycerol plasticizer were prepared by following the casting method. Starch and bioplastics were analyzed using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and their physicochemical properties were evaluated. The FTIR spectra of bioplastics with varying glycerol concentrations showed peaks at 3278 cm-1, 1643 cm-1, and 995 cm-1 corresponding to –OH, -C=O, and –C-O, respectively, confirming the formation of bioplastics. The water absorption test revealed that the bioplastic with high glycerol concentration, i.e., 97.2%, had a more significant percentage of water absorption, i.e., 79 percentage, compared to 37 % for bioplastic with low, i.e., 2.4% glycerol concentration. Water molecules enter more easily into plasticizer-rich materials, due to which bioplastic containing high glycerol concentration decays faster, i.e., in 52 days. Furthermore, a higher percentage of glycerol allowed the bioplastics to absorb acid solution for up to 42 hours and basic solution for up to 45 hours without being dissolved. \u0000

Since it is a manufacturing plant producing many kinds of wastes including chemical spills and toxic waste. The amount of pollutants released into the nearby Ohio river is harmful to the aquatic environment. Incorrect disposal of toxic waste is one of the most significant causes of the numerous types of pollutants resulting from this plant. Correct disposal of toxic waste includes dumping all this waste into a landfill which protects groundwater and surface water. Such disposal is recommended by the EPA and based on the prediction the SWSS could be a viable solution. Solidification and Stabilization refer to a method of cleanup that slows the release of chemicals from waste in this case which may include ammonia and sulfur dioxide and nitrogen. Due to the various features that it possesses, zinc oxide is of great relevance to a wide variety of sectors. These properties have been further improved by the manufacturing of this material at the nanoscale. Despite this, there has been a rise in concern over the influence that it has on the environment, which has resulted in the creation of manufacturing methods that are favorable to the environment. There has been a recent uptick in interest, as reported in the scientific literature, in producing metal and metal oxide nanoparticles by the use of biological methods. Because it is a less dangerous procedure than chemical and physical synthesis methods, which are currently employed in the industry to create these nanomaterials, this approach was given the name "green synthesis." The extraction of coffee leaves is used as a reducing agent to maintain the stability of the particle length. In terms of its medicinal potential, the results indicated that it had a significant antibacterial effect against the pathogenic kind of bacteria that developed on the wound. The current study focuses on the environmentally friendly manufacture of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) as well as their application in the process of toxicity reduction. It is likely that the use of ZnO nanoparticles as antibacterial agents will be their most important use. Because of their increased surface area and decreased size, these particles are an excellent candidate for use as an antibacterial agent. This article provides an overview of the environmentally friendly production of ZnO nanoparticles as well as the antibacterial properties of these particles. In addition to this, the activity's mechanism was analysed as well. Also featured was the environmentally friendly production of ZnO nanoparticles from Azadirachta indica, Aloe vera, Murraya koenigii, and Anisochilus carnosus. \u0000
