Based on the backstepping design technique, an adaptive controller was obtained by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. The saturation characteristic of the actuator was compensated by a compensator. It is proven that the semi-global uniformly ultimately boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop systems was guaranteed. A simulation example was provided to illustrate the validity of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":210380,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Modelling, Identification and Control","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124467548","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our case the fishing effort is considered as a control term, the age classes as a states and the quantity of captured fish as a measured output. The continuous non-linear model is first represented by a Takagi-Sugeno multimodel. Next, we develop a technique for designing a multimodel software sensor (called also observer) corresponding to this system and show its asymptotic convergence. The design conditions are given in linear matrix inequalities (LMI) terms which can be solved efficiently using existing numerical tools. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":210380,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Modelling, Identification and Control","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122147318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach sufficient conditions of the existence of the GCC law are given, and the designing procedure of the control law is proposed. How to solve the combinatorial optimization problem effectively and optimally is still an open issue today. In this paper, differential evolution algorithm (DE) combined with priority strategy is used to solve this E/T scheduling problem. Firstly, DE algorithm is used to make global assignment and obtain each job's process route. Secondly, the operating priority of the jobs in buffer area deduced from the expectation completion sequence is used to direct the local production assignment between stages, then the starting time of each job can be determined. Finally, under the constraints of the due-date, the global optimization with the minimal penalty sum of E/T is obtained. Several scheme comparisons with simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":210380,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Modelling, Identification and Control","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114207836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) required for stabilisability is first transformed into L2–L∞ performance so that a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach can be used. Then a network-induced delays model is proposed, which is more realistic as it can incorporate the delay characteristics of token-passing bus control networks such as PROFIBUS and ControlNet. The efficacy of the method is illustrated by numerical examples. It further shows that unstable poles and delays have significant impact on the SNR requirement to achieve stabilization.","PeriodicalId":210380,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Modelling, Identification and Control","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126511688","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Whether VT data can be accepted is determined by credibility of the models. The main approach of credibility check is test and evaluation (T&E), which is validating the consistency of models with animated entities via specific criteria. The underwater unmanned vehicle (UUV) virtual test is introduced as an example to expatiate on microcosmic and macroscopical features and predict the trend of T&E. This paper presents the literature review on the NILM approaches. NILM is a process for detecting changes in the voltage and current going through a house, deducing what appliances are used in the house, as well as their individual energy consumption, with a single set of sensors. Different strategies and approaches for NILM systems have been developed over the past thirty years. This paper reviews the current state of the algorithms and systems of NILM. The paper points out that NILM can be utilised presently on available commercial devices and provides meaningful feedback. Our vision on the future of NILM is also summarized.","PeriodicalId":210380,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Modelling, Identification and Control","volume":"256 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123611071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective is to design a robust peak-to-peak filter such that the peak value of the estimation error is minimized for possible bounded disturbances. A delay-dependent sufficient condition is presented, which guarantees the mean-square exponential stability and a prescribed H∞ performance level. Firstly, a compound Markovian transition probabilities matrix is defined to described the work process of NCSs and co-decided by two independent work process: one is the packet dropouts process, which is defined as the sequence of the time intervals between consecutively successfully transmitted data; The other is the network-induced delay process, which is related to the delay of successfully transmitted data and based on a random division of intervals. Moreover, a new hybrid Markovian jump nonlinear systems (HMJNSs) model for NCSs is proposed. For handling the inter-sample behavior, which leads to nonlinear in model, anew norm bounded method is proposed. Furthermore, based on the such method and an operative mode dependent Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions for mean square stability are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and corresponding control laws are given. Finally, numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the results.","PeriodicalId":210380,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Modelling, Identification and Control","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121804871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
