The purpose of this paper is to help Arabic children at an early age, from five to ten years, to learn Chinese language, via a mobile application design developed to teach the basics of Chinese vocabulary, including numbers, colors, foods, clothes, events, and also common phrases, with quizzes. To improve the learning experience, this application link for learning the Chinese language and culture is configured so that every component (vocabulary or phrases) reflects the information about Chinese culture. A questionnaire was distributed to explore the expected benefits of using such applications. In addition, the presented prototype helped to identify some significant requirements to consider when designing similar mobile applications. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of introducing cultural components when designing mobile applications for teaching a foreign language, which has vast opportunities to develop the children’s personality and introduce them to universal values.","PeriodicalId":208650,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Enterprise Information System (AEIS)","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127335603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The adoption of industrialized building systems (IBS) has contributed to high quality, efficient buildings and improved health and safety practices in the construction industry. This study investigates the benefits of adopting IBS in the South African construction industry (SACI). The data for the study was acquired from respondents in the SACI using a quantitative research approach. Data was analyzed using mean item score, standard deviation, and factor analysis. The findings revealed that the most significant benefits of IBS adoption are waste reduction, optimized usage of materials, less labour and fewer disputes on site, saving in labor costs, and environmentally friendly. Due to the high cost of construction projects and shortage of skilled personnel to carry out construction works, there is a need to adopt IBS as a tool that will reduce the cost of production, promote efficiency and reduce the over-reliance on skilled personnel for the delivery of construction projects. This study contributes to the knowledge of construction delivery in South Africa through IBS. This use of IBSI encourage speedy delivery of quality construction projects and add value to the economic landscape of the region","PeriodicalId":208650,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Enterprise Information System (AEIS)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124037561","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under such a policy background, our group studies the impact of preschool on Mexican children’s academic performance by looking at their test scores in Spanish. We use a value-added linear regression model to check how student’s test scores are affected by the attendance of preschool and to estimate the magnitude of preschool’s impact on Spanish scores. We also conduct a pair of controlled experiments to test the effect of preschool education on children from different family income levels. This paper concludes that preschool attendance has a positive effect on student’s Spanish scores and middle-income families are most affected by this policy.","PeriodicalId":208650,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Enterprise Information System (AEIS)","volume":"359 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121715659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It uses a mathematical model called integer programming in which the decision variable is an integer. In this case study, a total of 190 townhouse projects have been designed by the decision maker using three methods: the conventional system, the load bearing structure precast system, and the skeleton frame system. Our study found that when applying the optimization technique during the construction planning phase, the objective function for the project’s minimum construction cost was 359.171 million Baht (${$}11.22$ million), within a total project duration of 55 months. In addition, this paper presents a sensitivity analysis followed by conclusions.","PeriodicalId":208650,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Enterprise Information System (AEIS)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126832807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, various security threats can occur in data sharing systems in the cloud environment. To solve this, data sharing systems and access control methods using the CP-ABE method are being studied, but the following problems may occur. First, in an outsourcing server that supports computation, it is not possible to prove that the computed result is a properly computed result when performing the partial decryption process of the ciphertext. Therefore, the user needs to verify the message obtained by performing the decryption process, and verify that the data is uploaded by the data owner through verification. As another problem, because the data owner encrypts data with attribute-based encryption, the number of attributes included in the access structure increases. This increases the size of the ciphertext, which can waste space in cloud storage. Therefore, a ciphertext of a constant size must be output regardless of the number of attributes when generating the ciphertext. In this paper, we proposes a CP-ABE based data sharing system that provides signature-based verifiable outsourcing. It aims at a system that allows multiple users to share data safely and efficiently in a cloud environment by satisfying verifiable outsourcing and constant-sized ciphertext output among various security requirements required by CP-ABE.","PeriodicalId":208650,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Enterprise Information System (AEIS)","volume":"135 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127375627","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among them, Cloud computing has been considered as one of the best and easiest choices, especially for manufacturing companies with multiple geo-locations. This article has explored all the available variables before moving on to applying the modern IS technology such as cloud computing, using a qualitative model of study. The findings of this study is an outcome of the semi-structured interviews with the officials of an individual organization. Through this study, we have discovered that the key factors playing a major role in cloud services adoption are: provider activities and external computing support, top management support, competitive benefit, financial commitments, usability, capacity, previous expertise, trialability and complexity. The proposed adoption framework classifies the adoption pathway into three sections. Firstly, it outlined the selection of the cloud delivery model. Secondly, the framework addressing the processes in the preparation stage along with its responsible authority. Finally, it categorizes the implementation stage processes and its authority.","PeriodicalId":208650,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Advanced Enterprise Information System (AEIS)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114401663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
