First, the non-stationary road roughness is obtained by the simulation of the light bus of SY6480 running on the C-class road with variable speed; then it is decomposed using the HHT and the Hilbert marginal spectrum is acquired. The results indicate that the road surface roughness imposed on the four wheels has the rather similar spectrum structure and its energy mostly focus on the several harmonic waves of low frequency, which can guide the design of active suspension, the control of vehicle vibration and the analysis of vehicle ride comfort when vehicles run with variable speed.","PeriodicalId":206435,"journal":{"name":"The 2nd International Conference on Information Science and Engineering","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124615589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been potentially quantified to study its effects on human and ecosystem. These impacts are resultant of the personal exposures to noise levels exceeding the standard values. In recent years, an increasing rate of urbanization and development has lead to many environmental issues in developing countries. This paper attempts to scientifically assess the noise pollution in one of major cities of Pakistan through identifying noise levels in decibel (dB) on potential spots and to demarcate the risk zones into Noise Potential Areas (NPA) based on measured noise levels. A preliminary research on noise levels are taken from seven different locations and is done in two temporal ranges namely off-peak (5-7am) and peak (6-8pm). Geographical Information System (GIS) is then used to produce NPA and map zonations through spatial interpolation. It plays significant role in mapping noise potential areas. This investigation identifies vehicular traffic as the biggest cause of noise related issues around the city. This model research has been initiated to examine the concept of spatial proximity with help of GIS techniques. The interpolated maps provide a clear visualization of correlation of noise levels with associated risks to human health.","PeriodicalId":206435,"journal":{"name":"The 2nd International Conference on Information Science and Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129741516","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Taking hydraulic hybrid vehicle as a study object and the speed following of the secondary component (hydraulic motor mode) as the control objective, the state space math model of the electrical-hydraulic control system has been established in this paper. The math model of the control system imported the quadratic optimal control theory or not has been simulated and analyzed all alone. The results of simulation showed that the vibration and overshoot of the response course of the control system obtained inhibited and attenuated largely when the system imported the quadratic optimal control theory and the control system behaved a better response performance at the same time. Besides that the response performance of this control system behaves well or not has a close relationship to the value of the parameter Q and R of the weighted matrix.","PeriodicalId":206435,"journal":{"name":"The 2nd International Conference on Information Science and Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130325765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, three planning models are to be integrated into a natural disaster logistics decision support system. The system readily decomposed into three problems the first one being fuzzy clustering disaster grades by historical data, the second one showing the grade distinguishment of new disaster areas based on fisher discrimination procedure, the last one giving plan incorporating relief commodities and equipment distributing in proper sequence in disaster areas. In emergency logistics context, supply is available in limited quantities at current time period but commodity demand is known with uncertainty at the time. So how to make grate use of the limited commodities under the uncertainty information, that is of great value. The mathematical models describe setting are considerably different than other conventional vehicle routing problem articles in the world. It suggests that macro adjustment is needed in emergency logistics programming in natural disasters, and it will drow more attention to this field in the near future.","PeriodicalId":206435,"journal":{"name":"The 2nd International Conference on Information Science and Engineering","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126683172","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
