Proton conductors are widely used as components of electrochemical devices such as gas sensors, electrolyzers, fuel cell membranes, etc. A key feature of the h-BCN layer is that it actually consists of a mixture of C-C carbon bonds and B-N boron nitride bonds. This makes it possible to change the conductive properties of the material by changing the concentration of the B-N bonds, which makes this material one of the most attractive to study at the moment. The adsorption of atomic hydrogen on the surface of a two-dimensional BCN layer is studied using density functional theory. The migration process of a single proton along the surface of a two-dimensional BCN layer has been studied, and the most probable path of its movement has been established. The density of states of a BCN layer with a proton on the surface is estimated. Thermal pastes are materials used to improve heat transfer between different surfaces. Recently, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have become widely used in the field of electronics and microelectronics due to their unique physical and chemical properties. One of the areas where CNTs can be applied is thermal conductivity. In this study, the effect of carbon nanotubes on the thermal conductive properties of thermal pastes was investigated. In this paper, an experiment was conducted to evaluate the thermal stability and performance improvement of thermal pastes by adding carbon nanotubes. KPT-8 thermal paste with a density of 2.6 g/cm2 and thermal conductivity of 0.7 W/mK was used in the experiment. Thermal pastes are materials used to improve heat transfer between different surfaces. The results of the study showed that thermal paste with CNT additives has higher thermal conductivity than thermal paste without additives. This indicates that CNTs can be effectively used as additives to improve the thermal conductivity of thermal pastes. But when CNTs are used as additives in thermal pastes, certain problems may arise, such as the grouping of CNTs in the mass of the substance. This can lead to an uneven distribution of CNTs in the thermal paste and, as a consequence, to inhomogeneous thermal conductivity. Among the most commonly used materials nowadays in the design and manufacture of prostheses are polyetheretherketones (PEEK), which have excellent stiffness and strength. They can be modified with fillers to improve their already impressive properties. This results in increased durability of the materials, so that prosthetic components remain strong and viable even after years of use. There are many ways to obtain structural materials with improved functional properties, one of which is the introduction of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) into the matrix of polymer composite material (PCM), which, having unique physical and chemical properties, modify the polymer-matrix for further use in special-purpose products. This paper presents the results of the study of the possibility of creating composites based on biopolymer polyetheretherketone reinforced with carbon nanotubes for their use as a material for prostheses that can be produced by 3D printing. The interaction of a single-layer carbon nanotube (6, 6) with a polyetheretherketone monomer and with a fragment consisting of four PEEK monomers was modeled and studied. One-center and two-center interactions have been studied. The calculations were performed within the framework of the quantum-chemical DFT method with different basis sets. The results of the temporal evolution of such pulses and the dependence of the pulse strength on the parameters of the inhomogeneity of an array of oriented nanotubes are shown. Extremely short pulses (ESP), in this case, mean optical pulses of high intensity, containing one to five periods of the electromagnetic field, with a duration of up to 100 ps. The pulse frequency lies in the near-infrared range. A necessary condition for the stable propagation of extremely short pulses is the presence of nonlinear effects that would make it possible to compensate for their dispersion and diffraction spreading. Therefore, an array of oriented carbon nanotubes (CNTs), which have nonlinear properties, was chosen as the pulse propagation medium. However, destruction of these parts can also occur as a result of traffic accidents, for example, in a collision or rollover. Therefore, in cases of road accidents, an auto-technical examination is appointed. It is important for making an informed and objective decision on the case to clarify the reasons for the destruction of parts that affect the safety of the vehicle, and the establishment of the time for the occurrence of these malfunctions. Conducting a metallographic expertise, which in most cases is auxiliary, can significantly help the investigation and the court, when solving these issues. Its conclusions are supplemented and specified by the conclusions of another examination, for example, auto-technical. The general requirements for radar absorbent coatings are: a high level of attenuation of the reflected signal, a wide frequency range of operation and the cost-effectiveness of the structure during its manufacture and operation. The ability of a material to absorb high-frequency radiation depends on its composition and structure. The materials are quite diverse in their design and structure, and yet there are averaged performance indicators for the most established RPM groups. However, not every material can maintain performance under harsh external application conditions. The paper develops criteria for comparing the following radio-absorbing coatings: conductive paint (Shielding coating) with water-based silver Water Based Silver Conductive Coating MG Chemicals 842WB Super Shield™; Water Based Silver Coated Copper Conductive Coating MG Chemicals 843WB Super Shield™; Water Based Nickel Conductive Coating MG Chemicals 841WB Super Shield™. Within the framework of experimental studies, the best method for predicting attacks on information systems has been identified. At the present stage of society’s development, the problems of information security come to the fore in most areas of the company’s activities. This is due to a significant number of informatization projects currently being implemented. Most of them are aimed at building a unified information space in order to optimize the processing of large volumes of various kinds of information, including ensuring its reliable storage and prompt access for participants of information exchange. Priority tasks in this direction are: identification, analysis and classification of existing mechanisms for the implementation of threats to information security; assessment of possible damage; identification of basic measures to counter threats; elimination of vulnerabilities; development of security criteria and protection mechanisms. One of the means of solving these problems is the detection of computer attacks. Malicious impacts on information systems can be presented in the form of network attacks. A network attack is an intentional action by third parties aimed at establishing control over a local or remote computer or computer system. As a result of attacks, attackers can disrupt the network, change account rights, receive users’ personal data and implement other goals. Network attacks by the nature of the impact on the network can be divided into active and passive. The active ones affect the network, which may cause the network to malfunction, or modification of its settings. This type of exposure leaves traces in the network, which is why it is immediately calculated that it will be detected. A passive attack is carried out without affecting the network. But her work violates network security. It is much more difficult to detect it than the active one due to the lack of direct intervention. Basically, the purpose of the attack is unauthorized access to protected information, distorting it or intercepting it. The very word “measure” suggests the evaluation of these data, the quality of which can be described and quantified. The metric, in turn, is essentially an objective assessment during testing, which makes it possible to determine data distortions that occur during transmission, encoding, digitization, compression, and decoding of video data. The article considers such metrics as PSNR and VQM, and analyzes the ITU-R-BT.500-8.11 standard. A brief overview of the MSU Video Quality Measurement Tool is presented, as well as a simulated video conferencing image acquisition using one of the most popular H264 codecs. The formulas for calculating the PSNR metric, defined through the mean square error (MSE), estimating the loss of image quality by comparing the received video with the downloaded (reference video) are presented. The VQM (Video Quality Metric) metric is considered, which evaluates the distortion in the transmitted video caused by the passage of network packets through the cable line of the transmission system (decoding errors or coding errors), as well as methods for subjective and objective evaluation of images in video conferencing. One of such technical means just includes programs for creating a facial composite aimed at creating and highlighting the characteristic features of a person associated with illegal actions. This software allows not only to create portraits of suspects in the commission of crimes, missing people, but also to predict external changes in the appearance of the suspect. In this article, the most common and effective software options for the creation of composite portraits used in law enforcement agencies of Russia and abroad are presented. The concept of “universality” is general in nature and applied to any digital signal, the concept of “cost-effectiveness” is the efficient use of bandwidth, equipment and network resources. “Accuracy” is the key requirement in the construction and transmission of information over a communication network. Various characteristics of the transmission channel - bandwidth, transmission levels, dynamic range, level diagram, amplitude-frequency response, phase-frequency response, the error rate for a certain time interval give an idea of the state of the channel, path, and equipment. According to their analysis, it is easy to eliminate or improve that component of the communication channel. The article presents and investigates popular tools for assessing the quality of transmitted information over a digital communication channel.
