The transceivers are used in two frequency ranges, 4/6 and 11/14 GHz. They differ in composition depending on the purpose (terminal or central), functions (digital data transmission or telephony), siting (stationary or mobile). Production profitability in this case depends much on the extent of the samples uniformity. The paper presents the development results of transceivers for earth stations, the main feature of which is the unification of circuitry, and the design and technological approaches, which makes it possible to meet most of the consumers' requirements with the minimum of expense.","PeriodicalId":205681,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of International Conference on Satellite Communications. The GSS is based upon a low Earth orbit satellite system network and is intended to provide low cost, reliable and high quality data communication services to anywhere from anywhere in the world at any time through small users terminals including portable terminals. GSS is based on the onboard and terrestrial equipment that has been developed by ELAS. The satellite group is to be deployed and supported through the START multipurpose transportable space launch system with the solid propellant launch vehicle based on the SS-25 ICBM. The chosen domain of the atmosphere (at 30-70 km altitude) is illuminated from the Earth by a powerful microwave electromagnetic field. This field has special spectrum and space distributions, providing in the volume near to the selected point in atmosphere the following factors: (1) artificial ionized plasma generation; 2) stabilization of the generated plasma by the way of its organization into the most energetically stable form (plasmoid) by means of the plasma-supplying series of microwave impulses; (3) projection of the radioholographic image onto the plasmoid, so that the last be able to receive RF signals, coming from the preset direction and retransmit them to the prescribed direction. During the useful signals retransmission, the separation of some part of the RHA power is possible, i.e. the parametric amplification of the retranslated signals may take place.","PeriodicalId":205681,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of International Conference on Satellite Communications. The Inmarsat-A system and the variety of its applications and services continue to be Inmarsat's prime revenue generator. The growing family of new Inmarsat systems and services are increasingly contributing to the expanding markets, traffic and revenues for mobile satellite services around the world.
