In the context of a low carbon economy, based on the case study of a typical secondary urban agglomeration, this paper proposes that the industry chain, innovation chain, and service chain in a secondary urban agglomeration are relatively weak, which needs a complex industry collaboration system integrating industry chain, innovation chain, and service chain (IIS) to achieve low-carbon collaborative industrial development. This system can be developed by taking the real economy (industry chain) as the core and integrating innovation elements including science, technology, and knowledge (innovation chain), as well as service elements such as the material base, government policy, and financial services (service chain). The article constructs a theoretical framework for the IIS system, analyzes its operation mechanism, and finally discusses the specific construction strategy of the IIS system based on a low-carbon economy perspective.","PeriodicalId":20363,"journal":{"name":"Polish Journal of Environmental Studies","volume":"28 04","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.8,"publicationDate":"2023-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139264678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Exploiting the comparative advantages of major crop types has a profound effect on improving crop production. However, studies on these comparative advantages and their influencing factors are few. Here, the temporal variation characteristics of main crop types in Chongqing City from 1985 to 2021 were analyzed. The comparative advantages of these crop types were also evaluated, and the main factors that influenced them were determined using ordinary least square model. Results demonstrated that the temporal variation characteristics of sown area and comparative advantages in scale of six crop types in Chongqing City from 1985 to 2021 had obvious difference. The sown area of hemp crops showed the most variation among the six crop types. Tobacco, vegetable, and hemp crops had comparative advantages in scale in Chongqing City. GDP, pesticide usage, per capita disposable income of rural residents, agricultural film used, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure were the major factors influencing the comparative advantages of the six crop types in Chongqing City from 1985 to 2021. These findings are useful for adjustment and optimization of planting structure, crop production management, and sustainable development of agriculture.","PeriodicalId":20363,"journal":{"name":"Polish Journal of Environmental Studies","volume":"88 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.8,"publicationDate":"2023-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139264037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the uncertainty of benefits under the carbon tax policy triggers the disappointment aversion behavior of decision makers, which has an important impact on the energy sharing decision of industrial clusters. This paper adopts the differential game approach to study the dynamic coordination problem of distributed energy sharing in industrial clusters, explores the optimal equilibrium strategies under different decision-making models, analyzes the impacts of carbon tax rate and disappointment aversion behavior on decision-making, and finally conducts numerical simulations. The results show that the equilibrium results of centralized decision-making are better than those of decentralized decision-making, and the cost-sharing contract can achieve the coordination of decentralized decision-making. The higher the degree of disappointment aversion of industrial cluster members, the lower the motivation of energy sharing. Increasing the carbon tax rate is conducive to improving the energy low carbon level and energy sharing synergy effect of enterprises. However, when the initial carbon emissions of enterprises are high, it will lead to a decline in their profits. Therefore, the government should choose an appropriate carbon tax rate according to the initial carbon emissions of enterprises.","PeriodicalId":20363,"journal":{"name":"Polish Journal of Environmental Studies","volume":"53 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.8,"publicationDate":"2023-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139264279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To clarify the relationship between the development of the petrochemical industry and local ecological economy and explore the scientific development path for the industry, this paper analyzes the influence of petrochemical industry agglomeration on local ecological efficiency. By using panel data from 30 provincial units between 2012 and 2021, the study also investigates the mediating effect of green technology innovation on this relationship. Results show that the agglomeration of China’s petrochemical industry positively affects local ecological efficiency. However, given some issues such as separation of production and innovation activities within the industry, a negative correlation exists between the agglomeration level of the petrochemical industry in China and the level of green technology innovation. Consequently, the agglomeration of China’s petrochemical industry cannot enhance ecological efficiency through the mediating effect of green technology innovation level. The substantial resource consumption by green technology innovation has not translated into effective ecological economic benefits, which has increased the burden on ecological functions and resulted in a negative effect on ecological efficiency. The research conclusions and proposed measures hold significant implications for the scientific planning of the development of China's petrochemical industry, as well as for promoting regional economic growth and ecological construction.","PeriodicalId":20363,"journal":{"name":"Polish Journal of Environmental Studies","volume":"13 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.8,"publicationDate":"2023-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139265982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to control pollution and promote the development of green industries, the Chinese government has vigorously developed green and emerging industries such as the cultural industry, and put forward the strategic goal of “double carbon”. Based on this background, this paper selects China’s provincial cultural industry as the research object to carry out an empirical study on its innovation efficiency and its influencing factors. By selecting the panel data from 2014 to 2021, using the output oriented CRS super efficiency model, cross reference malmuqist model and panel regression model, this paper draws the following conclusions: (1) the innovation efficiency of cultural industry in different regions of China has typical spatio-temporal heterogeneity. The efficiency of cultural innovation fluctuates at 1.0, and is the highest in the eastern region and the lowest in the western region. (2) The innovation efficiency of China’s cultural industry has maintained a good growth trend, and the malmuqist index as a whole is greater than 1.0. (3) Environmental variables such as air pollution, domestic pollution and pollution control have significant effects on innovation efficiency. All environmental variables passed the significance test at the 5% level.","PeriodicalId":20363,"journal":{"name":"Polish Journal of Environmental Studies","volume":"97 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.8,"publicationDate":"2023-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139272784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the variance in the content, timing, and frequency of information channels, each risk information channel gains different credibility from the public. In turn, information channels with high credibility might have a stronger effect on the public’s risk perception than channels with low credibility. We conducted a nationwide survey (Asia Barometer Survey 2015) to explore citizens’ fundamental understanding of general environmental risk perceptions and to examine the informational factors that influents residents’ risk perception. The results reveal that environmental information exposure to netizens is strong, online information is easily accepted by citizens, and other information channels do not have significant effects. Factors such as age, educational attainment, household income, and location (urban/rural) were found to be related to the degree of risk perception, but gender was not. The provision of information over social media reshapes public risk perception by increasing self-reported knowledge, reducing trust, and making people more fearful. Using the normalization treatment and the analysis method of relative annual variation, the overall change of soil organic carbon content in farmland in the Yangtze River Economic Belt under long-term different fertilization measures was studied, and the change differences of soil organic carbon content under three tillage modes were compared, so as to judge and analyze the influence of the duration of the experiment on soil organic carbon dynamics. The results showed that under long-term different fertilization measures, the organic carbon content of farmland soil in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in China showed an overall upward trend. NP, NPK, O, and NPKO treatments all increased the organic carbon content of agricultural soils, with the NPKO treatment being the largest. The sole application of inorganic nitrogen fertilizer reduced the organic carbon content of the soil. The rates of change in soil organic carbon content were 0.11g·(kg·a) −1 , 0.31 g·(kg·a) −1 , and 0.30 g·(kg·a) −1 for dryland, paddy and water−dry rotation farmland, respectively. There is some variation in the rate of change of soil organic carbon content between soil types. The average rate of change of organic carbon was 0.20 g·(kg·a) −1 for red soils, 0.13 g·(kg·a) −1 for tidal soils and 0.19 g·(kg·a) −1 for rice soils. The trend of NPKO>O>NPK>NPK>NP>N is basically maintained for the rate of change of soil organic carbon content. N treatment showed a reduction in organic carbon content in all soil types. Considering the carbon fixation of farmland soil, the combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizers is a more suitable fertilization method in this area.","PeriodicalId":20363,"journal":{"name":"Polish Journal of Environmental Studies","volume":"94 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.8,"publicationDate":"2023-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139273288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"环境科学与生态学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
