Since both commercial and military satellites are spectrum challenged, utilizing available higher frequency bands is likely in the near future. These TWTs are also ideal amplifiers to integrate into network-centric military platforms. The reduced size and weight make these high frequency amplifiers ideal for communication transmitters used to network diverse and widespread command posts, sensors and shooters.","PeriodicalId":203178,"journal":{"name":"4th IEEE International Conference on Vacuum Electronics, 2003","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2003-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130560527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
