On the other hand, threat space has expanded with the digitalization and altered to be more complicated as an undesired effect by this advancement. Recognizing this fact as an outcome of the Estonian cyberattack campaign, the European Union is consciously strengthening its cyber-defence. However, legislation evolves slowly, so after an eleven-year delay, the Network and information security (NIS) Directive came to the effect. The NIS Directive made advances to the world of critical infrastructures in the European Union, but on the other hand, threats have evolved, too. From these two threads comes the question of whether the nature of the incidents has changed or not. This work tries to find the answer with the review of publicly available cyber-incidents that occurred in the last ten years, focusing on the European Union, according to the Annex II of the NIS Directive. Additionally, it aims to give the basis for a public register regarding the incidents affecting one or more operators of these Essential Services.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133730698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These software perform a number of safety critical tasks in many cases. We have already proven in previous publications that a software cannot be fully tested. On the other hand, their complexity has already reached a the level that no one human being can understand and review. This raises the natural question of what level of automation we can use in software development and testing, and where the human place is in this development process. Human is an unreliable “machine” and as a result of this she or he will make mistakes, this is unfortunately inevitable. In addition, he is tired, his attention digresses, and his working speed is limited. The consequence is that the product she or he produces will be unreliable at some level. In this article we will outline what problems the human factor raises and to what extent development can be supported by automatic tools.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133059511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parabola is generally applicable in short spans while the catenary can be used in any spans. This paper deals with the difference between the lengths of the catenary and its mathematical approximation with the parabola operating with universal formulas, which are valid for both inclined and level spans. Suitable algorithm of a parabolic approximation of the catenary is considered relevant from the aspect of overhead line design. It means that both the parabola and the catenary always have the same support points in a span. In order to draw concrete conclusions a complex practical example and their numerical results have been presented and adequately analysed.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132774313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It casts also a glance to the necessary move towards a new paradigm, due in the authors opinion to the IEEE Std. 1459–2010. In the introductory section, a few aspects related to the motivation of the increasingly concern for power quality issues are presented. Due to the fact that the introduction of the concept of harmonic analysis was the major step in the study of power resolution and power quality, the second section focuses on the scientific debate regarding the resolution of power, which lasts for almost a century, culminating somehow with the most recent resolution of power in non-sinusoidal systems, produced by the standard IEEE Std. 1459–2010. This latest resolution pleads undoubtedly for the importance of harmonic analysis in electric power quality. It is a pity that available power quality analyzers put on the market, cannot perform such a detailed analysis. The next section presents a harmonic analysis in a few relevant case studies on this matter. The analysis is conducted in terms of energy efficiency, using a performant power quality analyzer, available nowadays in the market, for single-phase end user's systems, supplied by sinusoidal and several distorted voltages.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114594240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But little is done on validation of these models to fit adequately with multiple clinical data of an infectious disease. In this paper, we introduce SEIR-PAD model to assess susceptible, exposed, infected, recovered, super-spreader, asymptomatic infected, and deceased populations. SEIR-PAD model consists of 7-set of ordinary differential equations with 8 unknown coefficients which are solved numerically in MATLAB using an optimization algorithm to fit 4-set of COVID-19 clinical data consist of cumulative populations of infected, deceased, recovered, and susceptible. Trends of COVID-19 in Trends in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are successfully predicted using available data from outbreak until 23rd June 2020. Promising results of SEIR-PAD model provide insight into better management of COVID-19 pandemic in GCC countries.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122611453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Practically this is carried out by finding relationship between technology parameters and geometric properties of nanostructures produced by droplet epitaxial process. The crucial point is to deal with high-dimensionality of both technological and geometrical parameters of nanostructures. Principal component analysis and regression were used. Geometrical parameters were substituted with analytical fitting ones. Soft computing methods were also applied to find abovementioned relationships.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"297 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132333687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such techniques are accompanied with several advantages. However, state space explosion is one of the drawbacks to model checking. During recent years, several methods have been proposed based on evolutionary and meta-heuristic algorithms to solve this problem. In this paper, a hybrid approach is presented to cope with the SSE problem in model checking of systems modeled by GTS with an ample state space. Most of existence proposed methods that aim to verify systems are applied to detect deadlocks by graph transformations. The proposed approach is based on the fuzzy genetic algorithm and is designed to decline the safety property by verifying the reachability property and detecting deadlocks. In this solution, the state space of the system is searched by a fuzzy genetic algorithm to find the state in which the specified property is refuted/verified. To implement and evaluate the suggested approach, GROOVE is used as a powerful designing and model checking toolset in GTS. The experimental results indicate that the presented hybrid fuzzy method improves speed and performance by comparing other techniques.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127762683","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
