Especially the case study hospital is now affected by the irregular demand in some medicine which was difficult to forecast and lead to inefficient inventory management. The main objective of this paper is to find a method to forecast a medicine with an irregular demand pattern. Firstly, the Coefficient of variation and Average inter-demand Interval were used for defining the medicine demand pattern. Secondly, forecasting error compared from applying four general forecasting models including Moving Average, Weight Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, and Holt Winter Additive. Thirdly, apply a more specific model for Irregular forecasting, including Croston's method, TSB method (Teunter, Syntetos, and Babai's method), SBA method (Syntetos-Boylan approximation method), and Kalaya et al’ approach (2019) approach to see if it is superior to the general models. The finding found better results when using a specific model for irregular demand forecasting.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126472972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This drives all businesses to adapt themselves. One of them is electrical cable manufacturing whose customer demand is uncertain. To deal with it, higher inventory is carried which returns higher cost of inventory carrying. Therefore, this paper aims to predict time-series electrical cable demand using autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA). Its accuracy is measured using mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) at less than 20 percent. As the result, inventory carrying cost is reduced which enable lower cost of logistics.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"208 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114757439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting, the traditional GM(1,1)model, new information GM(1,1)model, metabolic GM(1,1)model are established first, the cold chain logistics data of agricultural products in Sichuan Province from 2010 to 2019 are selected as panel data, and the cold chain logistics demand of agricultural products in Sichuan Province from 2016 to 2019 is simulated. Then the average relative error, the sum of error squares and the prediction accuracy of the three prediction models are solved respectively. Finally, it is found that the metabolic prediction accuracy is the highest and the prediction error is the smallest, which is more suitable for the cold chain logistics demand prediction of agricultural products.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115058778","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article, we investigate critical determinants of repurchase intention in community groupon. This study deploys interaction, interactive environment, key opinion leader (KOL), and flow experience to provide a closer look at repurchase intention in community groupon. The results of the proposed model, tested using regression analysis modeling on a sample of 283 respondents, show that interaction plays a central role in explaining repurchase intention in community groupon. KOL has a significant moderation effect on interactive environment and interaction. Interaction also exhibits a strong relationship with flow experience, which exhibits a significant relationship with repurchase intention in community groupon. Flow experience partially mediates the effects of interaction on repurchase intention. At the end of the article, we put forward practical suggestions for customer maintenance in community groupon.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126921954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method used is a logical system analysis based on elements of self-organisation theory. Firstly, systemic key elements for the analog/digital order creation (L1) and the generic material/informational hybridisation level (L2) are introduced. With these parameters, a continuous implicitly cybernetic feedback model is proposed for modeling of (1) analog, (2) digital, and (3) hybrid forms of digital innovation systems and their products. Subsequently more finely grained part models allow for efficient and conficient i.e. efficient and cooperative economically equilibrated world systems. This process can be deciphered as a material to immaterial world description through L1 and L2. Three illustrative examples for possibly entrepreneurial applications are given. By this approach, a systematic guide for inventions and following innovations in the analog-digital transition age is proposed. The result of the work is a method for the generation of digital model innovation systems by means of the application of the emergence principle, the intermission theorem, and the proposed dualities. Finally, we give an outlook for further development of the model.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125003220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, the analysis was carried out in XY, which accounts for 64.03% of non-conforming parts, composed of reprocessed products (72.93%) and discarded (27.07%), which causes costs to increase to $ 347,234.67. This is due to the following causes: Dispatch of unsolicited products (35.88%), damaged products (35.68%), fictitious stock (17.94%) and delay in dispatch (10.94%). To reduce the impact of the problem, Lean Warehousing, slooting and wave picking techniques were used; and 5S developing the model with the PDCA methodology, using VSM for the analysis of the flow of activities and measurement of the identified indicators. After the implementation of the model, the process time was reduced by 19.12%. The distance traveled to prepare an order was reduced from 244.5 meters to 173.5 meters; and an OTIF value increased by 44.33%. The output of the model provides an example for potential application in warehouses of companies in the manufacturing industry.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127098454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a key sector in the country's economy and, despite being one of the countries with the highest per-capita consumption in Latin America, it holds the last place in poultry processing plant development and investment in South America. Currently, poultry-producing companies are noting a considerable increase in live poultry sales but not processed poultry, since the processing channels have not been increased in step with the current breeding levels. Specialists estimate that the percentage of processed poultry in formal Peruvian processing plants would only reach a maximum of 25%-30%. In view of this situation, we realize the existence of shortcomings in terms of poultry processing in Peru and propose a lean manufacturing production management model using an enterprise transformation approach to increase productivity in poultry processing plants to help them become highly competitive and survive in the market. The model considers two basic tools of lean manufacturing: 5S and total productive maintenance (TPM).","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":" 24","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113950390","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the aforementioned, it is essential to plan each stage of the processes, the forecast of demand, supply of materials and consumables, production capacity, and distribution and transportation of products. An essential part of these considerations is inventory and warehouse management. Here, we propose a method that makes use of tools such as material requirement planning, economic order quantity, supplier approval, and standardization, which aims to improve the current defective product indicator of 11.43% generated by poor inventory management. After the implementation of the pilot plans, a reduction of 60% was achieved to sustain the effectiveness of the integrating model, the improvement was corroborated with a simulation, obtaining the same results.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115446984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The associated technical developments are currently leading to changes in the requirements for employee competencies. The aim of this paper is to identify competencies that play a central role in Industry 4.0 and will gain in importance in the future. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is used to identify necessary future competencies in production and especially in the logistics environment. Based on scientific studies that deal with changes in production logistics, competencies are gathered and divided into professional, methodological, personal, and social competencies. The analysis reveals that the competencies “willingness to learn”, “interdisciplinarity”, “comprehensive process understanding”, and “communication skills” are becoming increasingly important. In the specialist areas of logistics and production, there is a tendency towards higher qualifications and acquisition of IT competency and process understanding. The reasons for this are specifically the enlarged use of data sets, their analysis, and operational interpretation. Analyzing changes in competencies allows for deriving requirements for qualifications and developments in occupational fields. Furthermore, it may also reveal influences on future forms of organization (e.g., influences on job profiles). This paper aims to contribute to the development of competency management in a digitalized working environment and facilitate targeted personnel development and strategic planning.","PeriodicalId":199569,"journal":{"name":"2021 10th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"217 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121096645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
