This study aims to analyze the relationship between academic achievement, intelligence beliefs, scientific optimism, academic engagement, and academic self-efficacy in the form of a causal model. In this descriptive and correlational study, the population comprised all students at Kashan Paramedicine College in the 2022-2023 academic year, of which 247 students were selected through stratified random sampling. To collect data, Dupeyrat and Mariné’s Intelligence Beliefs Questionnaire, Tschannen-Moran and his colleagues’ Scientific Optimism Questionnaire, Zarang Academic Engagement Questionnaire, and McIlroy & Bunting Academic Self-Efficacy Questionnaire were used. Data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics in the SPSS and Smart PLS statistics software. The results revealed significant correlations among intelligence beliefs, scientific optimism, academic engagement, academic self-efficacy, and students' academic achievement. In addition, intelligence beliefs and scientific optimism with the mediating role of academic engagement and academic self-efficacy had a significant indirect effect on academic achievement. According to the criterion of a mechanist view as implied from berkeley's writings, a mechanist view is one that explains the natural phenomena, assuming material causes only. Berkeley claims that the material world as perceived by us is a collection of sensual ideas. These ideas exist in our mind. Berkeley also claims that the ideas are passive. An idea is merely a sign for another idea, and not the cause of the formation of another idea Berkeley claims that the term \"Force\", which many physicists think that it represents a cause of phenomena as velocity changes, dose not represent a real quality. Berkeley is defined as an empiricist. But in order to preserve scientific achievements and the ability to connect between phenomena and to predict, he claims that we have to use the term \"Force\" although it dose not represent a real quality. The term \"Force\" represents in his opinion a mathematical fiction. This view of Berkeley is called \" Scientific Instrumentalism\". Science does not deal with material causes according to Berkeley's view. The universal mind (God) is the real cause of natural phenomena, \"planting\" the regular ideas referred to as '' nature''. Still minds and God should be dealt with in metaphysics. Therefore Berkeley's attack on the mechanist view is the result of his view that only in metaphysics we deal with real spiritual causes. Since Berkeley attacks the mechanist view, he is defined as an anti mechanist. In Berkeley's opinion, there is no difference between the picture of the world which follows from his philosophy, and the common sense picture. Organization are therefore encouraged to train and develop their staff in order to enhance their performance. The product department is among the organizations which provide training and develop their staff to ensure that their staff has the request knowledge and skills, to meet the challenges. While the organization is keeping on training their staff, it is necessary to assess the outcome of these training. The study assessed the training and development process and see whether has improved staff .performance. Data was collected using questionnaires to the selected employees and to the Director of Administration and Human Resource. The data was analyzed using Microsoft word 2003-integrated package on a personal computer and the SPSS software. The result indicated that product department has a training program in place, but it is poorly planned, not systematic and not coordinated. \u0000However, all interviewed employees were aware of the existence of training and development program in this organization. However, the training itself had a positive impact on the performance of the staff and the organization. A cross-sectional survey of employers, managers, human capital practitioners and consultants was conducted across different types of work organisations in Ogun State, Nigeria. Multi-stage sampling involving stratification and random selection was used such that 60 participants were taken from each of private and public sectors and randomly selected to make a total of 120 participants reached in the study. A 20-item questionnaire with a four-point likert rating scale was developed and administered to the subjects. Data collected were analysed with multiple regression analysis. The results reveal high employers’ demand for generic skills and remarkable innovative skill on the part of graduates as such skills represent core work-demand competence and attributes that could enhance employment opportunities of graduates in a work organisation and foster the fulfilment of employers’ needs from employed graduates. Hence, graduates’ employability is regarded as a function of the ability to demonstrate mastery or competence in array of generic and innovative skills.
