Collinear holographic data storage will become a good candidate for Big Data recording solution, because of there are not only large storage capacities and high transfer rates, but also the unique configuration. In this paper, we introduce the principle of the collinear holography, media structures of the optical disc, and some methods to increase the recording density and data transfer rates using phase modulated page data format. The structure contains graduated periods and rectangular cavity fabricated via interference lithography, which acts as the distributed feedback. A layer of densely packed CQDs film is deposited on the cavity via spin coating technique. The performance of CQDs lasers is investigated based on different distributed feedback cavities.
