The relevant elements in remote sensing considered are vegetation, water, soil and urban areas. To perform the classification, a linear support vector machine (linear SVM) was trained using the information of 12’000 pixels and tested using 3’000. The proposed model achieves a 98.76% overall accuracy in the testing dataset.","PeriodicalId":198240,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXII Symposium on Image, Signal Processing and Artificial Vision (STSIVA)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126735498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This imaging architecture captures multiplexed representations of the multidimensional information by placing an electrostatic membrane mirror into the optical train of a compressive snapshot imager that employs a color-mosaic attached to the detector. Results show that a gain up to 5 dB of the peak-signal-to-noise ratio is achieved in contrast to a traditional multishot compressive spectral system that requires mechanical displacement of its optical elements.","PeriodicalId":198240,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXII Symposium on Image, Signal Processing and Artificial Vision (STSIVA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125839106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, there have been thousands of earthquakes in Oklahoma and the surrounding areas since 2009. CS-based seismic acquisition approaches attempt to exploit CS principles to reduce turnaround time and budget of the exploration. Different works have focused on receiver-subsampling, nevertheless, sources in a seismic survey are more expensive than receivers. This work extends the concept of subsampling to an acquisition scheme that consists of multiple missing sources on a 3D orthogonal seismic survey. The proposed acquisition scheme removes multiple sources at regular intervals providing flexibility to the acquisition design. The measurement matrix is modeled and the inverse problem to recover the seismic data from the available measurements is formulated. Numerical experiments on real and synthetic datasets show the promising of CS for multiple source subsampling, resulting in accurate reconstructions with SNR values of around 24 dB.","PeriodicalId":198240,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXII Symposium on Image, Signal Processing and Artificial Vision (STSIVA)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126161359","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposal follows two approaches: the first one analyzes the image as a whole to find characteristic properties of the benign samples, such as, the correct organization of the cells to form glands; the second one considers local morphological features, such as, the size, the shape, and the intensity of the light of individual nuclei in the cells. For both approaches, the automatic detection is based on a supervised classification model using a literature deep convolutional neural network. Experiments show a detection accuracy of up to 89,72%, which indicates that the proposal is a promising tool to assist the pathological diagnosis.","PeriodicalId":198240,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXII Symposium on Image, Signal Processing and Artificial Vision (STSIVA)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121643049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, we propose a noise-robust approach for processing regional phase dislocations. Our approach combines phase unwrapping and sparse-based inpainting with dictionary learning to recover the continuous phase map. The method is validated both using numerically simulated data with strong additive white Gaussian noise and phase dislocations; and experimental data from fringe projection profilometry. Comparisons with other phase inpainting method referred to as PULSI+INTERP, show the suitability of the proposed method for phase restoration even in extremely noisy phases. The error given by the proposed method on the highest level of noise (RMSE=0.0269 Rad) remains the smallest compared to the error given by PULSI+INTERP for noise-free data (RMSE=0.0332 Rad).","PeriodicalId":198240,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXII Symposium on Image, Signal Processing and Artificial Vision (STSIVA)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116841639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent algorithms have been developed to solve this problem assuming that the signal is sparse on some representation base. On the other hand, in the state-of-the-art has been studied theoretically this problem under a setup that collects coded diffraction patterns at the far field. However, employed coding elements are inadmissible because they allow increments on the power of the signal in the modulation process. Further, the near and middle fields setup remain without any theoretical guarantees of signal recovery. Therefore, this paper provides exact recovery guarantees on any optical field from sparsity-based coded phaseless measurements that meet an admissible modulation. Numerical results show that the proposed coding elements are able to solve sparsity-based PR at any optical field under an admissible modulation. In fact, the results show the types of admissible coding elements that best estimate the support.","PeriodicalId":198240,"journal":{"name":"2019 XXII Symposium on Image, Signal Processing and Artificial Vision (STSIVA)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129423730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
