The aim of the work is to develop a numerical-analytical method for assessing the geoecological consequences of volcanic activity accompanying the subduction process. The boundary problem was formulated, including the three-dimensional transport and diffusion equation and boundary conditions at the bottom and surface of the water. For research, a block structure with quasi-homogeneous layers is introduced. In each block, a differential factorization method is implemented and integral representations of solutions are obtained. Calculations for a model problem are carried out, conclusions are formulated about the features of the behavior of the heavy and light fractions of volcanic ejections depending on the speed of currents, intensity and duration of the eruption.","PeriodicalId":197954,"journal":{"name":"Ecology. This paper develops theoretical and practical framework for estimating the economic effects generated from infrastructure. Its three types are considered: roadway, railway, and telecommunications. The hypothesis is that the infrastructure has a positive impact on regional economic development and there are spatial external effects. Estimation showed that road and telecommunications have a positive impact on economic development for Russia, and their external effects also appear. The contribution of railways to increasing labor productivity was insignificant for western and eastern regions. At the same time, the mobile communications per capita is a significant factor for western and eastern regions. The results indicate the necessity to adjust the strategy aimed at implementation of large-scale interregional infrastructure projects.","PeriodicalId":197954,"journal":{"name":"Ecology. Economy. Metabolomic profiling was performed by gas chromatographymass spectrometry. It was found that biolayering in the urban environment is much less diverse biochemically than in anthropogenically undisturbed conditions. The differences in metabolomic data were significantly greater between sampling sites than between community types. Lithobiontic communities of organisms are an interesting and promising for bioindication and biomonitoring of the environment.","PeriodicalId":197954,"journal":{"name":"Ecology. Economy. An overview of the main trends in the development of the concept of sustainable development is given. The necessity of instrumental assessment, retrospective analysis and forecasting of the ongoing processes is substantiated by the formation of appropriate indicators and quantitative indicators. A comprehensive risk assessment strategy based on the matrix approach mechanism includes an assessment of the main indicator classes, each of which consists of a set of indicators (indicators). The main indicator classes include economic indicators, indicators of environmental quality, indicators characterizing the health of the population and demographic processes. Based on the above indicators, a comprehensive strategy for assessing the analysis of risk indices in the study area can be implemented. Modern methods for assessing the sustainability of Russian regions are consistent with foreign developments since the very concept of sustainable development is universal for all countries. It should be noted that most of the studies are of a narrow-sectoral nature, the monitoring criteria, and approaches to modeling the sustainable development of the territory are largely unclear, which indicates an insufficiently deep development of the problem as a whole and the need for its conceptual substantiation. Research trends on this topic mainly consist in the search for the most adequate criteria and parameters by which it is possible to assess the ecological state of the coastal zone, the peculiarities of the economic development of the study area, medical and social processes of the coastal zone.","PeriodicalId":197954,"journal":{"name":"Ecology.
