The World Wide Web consists interlinked documents and resources that are easily crawled by general web crawler, known as surface web crawler. But for crawling the hidden web data, in which the data is hidden behind the html forms requires special type of crawler, known as hidden web crawler. For efficient crawling of hidden web data, the discovery of relevant and proper html forms is very important step. For this purpose a technique for domain specific hidden web crawler is proposed in this paper. The proposed technique is based on the domain specific crawling of World Wide Web. In this approach, a link is followed in a step by step manner, which results in a large source of hidden web databases. Experiential results verify that the proposed approach is quite effective in crawling the hidden web data contents.","PeriodicalId":197580,"journal":{"name":"International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology","volume":"145 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131755776","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Locating skin pixels in images or video sequences where people appear has many applications, especially those related to Human-Computer Interaction. Face detection plays a very important role in human computer interaction field. It represents the first step in a fully automatic face recognition, facial features detection, and expression recognition. There are many techniques used in face detection, each one has its advantages and disadvantages. An algorithm is proposed to improve the performance of face detection and eye detection using skin color model under poor illumination condition. Skin regions are extracted using a set of bounding rules based on the skin color distribution obtained from a training set. After detecting the face region, the Hough transform is used in order to detect the facial feature i. e. eye, specially circular Hough transform is used in order to detect the circular object in the image.","PeriodicalId":197580,"journal":{"name":"International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115641770","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This enables it to provide convergence across multimedia applications. Legacy networks like PSTN, PLMN are being rapidly phased out and an all-IP based flat network is close to realization. Nevertheless, legacy networks stil form an important part of Telecommunication domain. The IP Multimedia Subsystem supports such legacy networks and provides enhanced data and voice services based on an IP network. It has been conceived for telecom operators willing to provide advanced services on top of mobile and fixed networks. It aims to achieve the converged communications paradigm by merging the Internet and Telecommunication domains. IMS not only offers rich multimedia content along with voice and data services but also has provisions for service integration to provide a seamless and user-centric experience.\u0000 Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) has been standardized as the signalling protocol tobe used in the IMS. SIP allows for ubiquitous access to many useful Internet services as well as several new and Innovative ones such as Presence, Push-to-Talk etc.\u0000 This paper is a brief review of IMS and its core components. It also presents a high level overview of the IMS services and the security aspect in IMS.","PeriodicalId":197580,"journal":{"name":"International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124551370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Simulation is done using MATLAB and analysis for Y parameter is done under dark and illuminated condition for varying optical power. It has been seen that device transconductance is highly influenced by optical illumination even for small optical power. Optical effects are mainly due to lowering of surface potential in presence of illumination which is termed as photon induced barrier lowering. The result in dark condition are compared with reported results to show validity of proposed model. The device presented shows good improvement in tranconductance at very small optical power indicating the device as prospective candidate for circuit design at RF.","PeriodicalId":197580,"journal":{"name":"International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114994151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We also show the creation of an Ontology in Health Domain. In a developing country like India, due to mass population and scarcity of services, health care has taken a back. People often restore to the Internet for gathering information regarding a particular diseases or a health care service. They often do not find the information of their choice as the data is often available in a scattered form. Our Ontology can be used to extract such information in a more effective and efficient manner.","PeriodicalId":197580,"journal":{"name":"International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology","volume":"134 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116340432","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Searching for a specific person is one of the most popular search queries. However, when a person name is queried, the returned result often contains webpage's related to several distinct namesakes who have the queried name. The task of disambiguating and finding the webpage's related to the specific person of interest is left to the user. Many Web People Search approaches have been developed recently that attempt to automate this disambiguation process. Nevertheless, the disambiguation quality of these techniques leaves a major room for improvement. The project work also deploys the usage of the Web crawler, which can be used for crawling through a whole site on the Inter/Intranet.","PeriodicalId":197580,"journal":{"name":"International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124505736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With exponentially growing technology of VLSI; the circuit size is drastically reduced. Developing an electromagnetic shield for such a reduced size of electronic circuits requires ultra thin conductor shields while achieving the required shielding performance. Single conductor layer shield has thickness limitations to achieve required shielding effectiveness. Multilayered conductor electromagnetic shields are developed in this work so as to achieve the required performance of shielding effectiveness at lower thickness values. Mathematical analysis is carried out for a multilayered conductor electromagnetic shield. Conducting materials like copper, aluminum, silver, steel, nickel etc are considered for different layers of the shield at different thicknesses. Estimations for shielding effectiveness of a three layered (two layers of micro thin conductor films on a base conductor) conductor electromagnetic shield were carried out in different frequency ranges for various combinations of conductor layer materials. The combinations of conductor materials and their thicknesses were optimized to yield maximized performance at a reduced layer thickness.","PeriodicalId":197580,"journal":{"name":"International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125975996","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
