Being one of the fundamentally necessary macronutrients for plant nourishment, calcium (Ca) plays an important role in the growth and development of a plant. Thus, even though many studies have been carried out on the change of Ca concentration in agricultural soils, the number of studies examining this subject for forest soils is very limited. In the present study, it was aimed to compare the concentrations of Ca in soil and plant organs for the soils, where different forest trees are grown. Within this scope, leaf, bark, wood, cone, and root samples were collected from Turkish fir, black pine, Scotch pine, and Oriental beech species and soil samples were taken from the surface, mid-deep, and deep soil levels. Then, the Ca concentrations were compared. Morkan","doi":"10.55385/kastamonujes.1159789","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55385/kastamonujes.1159789","url":null,"abstract":"Pentacarbonyl-N-mercaptopyrimidinemetal(0) complexes of VIB metals (M: Cr, Mo, W) were formed when hexacarbonylmetal(0) complexes are treated photochemically with 4,6-dimethyl-2-mercaptopyrimidine at 10 ºC. The reported organometallic complexes were purified and isolated under an inert atmosphere. All M(CO)5L complexes were characterized in solution by FTIR-, 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopies. The FTIR spectroscopy results showed three absorption bands in the carbonyl region which indicates that the pentacarbonyl metal unit of the complexes has a local C4v symmetry. The 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopies showed that the mercaptopyrimidine ligand bonded to the metal complex through the mercaptopyrimidine-nitrogen atom symmetrically. The 13C-NMR spectroscopy results also showed a 1:4 ratio of two peaks in the CO-region, the ratio of the peaks proved the C4v symmetry of these complexes. The thermal behavior of these organometallic complexes is investigated by using DTA/TGA methods. The results of thermal analyses showed that the complexes decomposed at three different temperatures. The density functional theory (DFT) calculations were computed in B3PW91 formalism by Gaussian03W Software. The comparison of the experimental data with the theoretical values showed that the results obtained are compatible with each other. One of these problems is air pollution it reduces the quality of life of the citizens and threatens public health. Among the components of air pollution, heavy metals are the most dangerous because they accumulate in metabolism, some of them are toxic and poisonous even at low concentrations, and they are deadly for human health at high concentrations. Studies on the determination of air pollution are limited to revealing the current situation and do not offer solutions for urban planning. In this context, the accumulation of copper elements, which is extremely dangerous for public health, in plants located in the city center was investigated by using landscape plants as a tool in the research. Within the scope of the study, the change of copper concentration in five plant species grown in areas with no traffic, less dense, and dense areas were investigated. As a result of the research, the increase in the concentration of copper in the air due to traffic has been revealed statistically. The mean concentrations (in Bq kg-1) of radionuclides in the studied soil samples were found to be 289.40±32.47 for 238U, 241.76±27.47 for 232Th, 783.63±83.46 for 40K, and 31.44±5.63 for R 137Cs while the respective values in the studied species were 168.6±20.1- 288.8±34.5, 145.9±19.1-250.3±32.4, 434.6±52.2-828.4±99.4, and 16.1±1.8-28.3±3.3. The activity concentrations were found to be at the lowest in the control group and 400 µM Zn for all three species, and at the highest level at 25 µM Cd in general. The order of radionuclides by the highest activity concentrations was 40K>238Uz232Th>137C, whereas the order of species was Gold Tassel>Boxwood>Ladybird. TF (232U, 232Th, 40K, and 137Cs) values were found to be between 0.583 and 0.998, between 0.604 and 1.036, between 0.555 and 1.057, and between 0.513 and 0.899. And also, while the order of species by the activity concentration was Gold Tassel>Boxwood>Ladybird the order of species by the TF values was Boxwood>Gold Tassel>Ladybird. In conclusion, plants’ radionuclide activity concentrations were found to be at the highest level in 25 µM Cd group and at the lowest level in the control group. Mikroyapı özellikleri optik, SEM-EDS ve XRD analizleri ile incelenirken, mekanik özelliklerin tespiti için sertlik testi yapılmıştır. Mikroyapı sonuçları, özellikle EDS-MAP analizi takviye elemanlarının bakır matrisi içerisinde nispeten homojen dağıldığını göstermiştir. Karbon nanofiber nano boyuta sahip olduğu için daha büyük büyütmeli SEM fotoğraflarında tespit edilmiştir. Mikroyapıda Cu, CrB2, Cr2B3 ve C fazları tespit edilmiştir. Kompozitin sertlikleri takviye ilavesiyle artış göstermiş ve CNF’nin % 1 oranında maksimum değere (72.5 HB) ulaşmış, bu CNF oranından sonra sertlik değerinde çok az miktarda azalma meydana gelmiştir. Kentsel alanlarda yapı malzemesi olarak kullanılan, beton ve asfalt gibi albedo (yansıtma) değeri düşük yapısal yüzey malzemeleri ısıyı içerisinde hapsederek kent içerisinde hava sıcaklığında artışa neden olmuştur. Bir kentin çevresindeki kırsal alanlara göre daha sıcak olması kentsel ısı adası olgusu olarak nitelendirilmektedir. Bu olgu kentte yaşayan insanları fiziksel ve ruhsal açıdan olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. İnsanların bulunduğu kentin atmosferik koşullarına karşı uyarılmadığı ve konforlu hissetmeleri Biyoklimatik Konfor olarak tanımlanır. Matzarakis ve Höppe’in oluşturmuş olduğu PET indeksi çizelgesine göre 18. 1 – 23. 0 ̊C sıcaklık değerleri arasında insanların kendilerini daha iyi hissettiği ortaya koyulmuştur. Bu değerlerin artış ya da düşüş göstermesi kentte yaşayan insanlarda ruhsal açıdan daha stresli, çalışma isteğinde düşüş hissetmelerine neden olurken fiziksel açıdan göz yanması, burun kanaması gibi sağlık problemlerini beraberinde getirir. Ele alınan bu çalışmada Akdeniz ikliminin yoğun bir şekilde hissedildiği Kahramanmaraş ilinin biyoklimatik konfor şartları ele alınmıştır. Çalışma alanına ait 1970 -2021 yılları arasında meteorolojik ölçüm verileri bölgedeki meteoroloji istasyonlarından temin edilmiştir. Channeling this waste material into the construction industry helps to overcome waste disposal problems as well as promote sustainability. The most important features expected from the buildings are the creation of the most suitable environmental conditions for the products to be stored or the creatures that will live in them, and they can be used safely for a long time. In the construction of the buildings, materials that are the cheapest possible, safe and capable of creating the optimum environmental conditions should be used. The materials to be selected should have sufficient strength and durability, high heat and sound insulation and lightness. Since single-storey buildings are not subject to excessive load, it is important that the thermal insulation is high and light in material selection. Since the widespread use of concrete as a building material in the world, efforts to make concrete light, cheaper and better insulating have gained importance. Lightweight concrete, which is easy to apply, has been an important building material in recent years. With the use of lightweight concrete as a building material, benefits such as economy in terms of material, earthquake resistance, and the elimination of a second insulation material for heat and sound insulation can be achieved. In this study; Experimental study using Portland cement (CEM I), Palm Leaf, CEN standard sand and water mortar production; sample production, curing, some physical and mechanical experiments were carried out in four stages. The usability of palm leaf, which is a vegetable waste, as aggregate in concrete production by replacing it with CEN standard sand at 0, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40% as well as 10% with cement has been investigated. The study results show that the addition of both ground palm leaf and palm leaf aggregate significantly altered almost all properties of concrete. These changes are at different levels in terms of physical properties. As a result of the study, it was determined that as the amount of foam increased, the spreading diameter increased, whereas palm leaf addition decreased the spreading diameter. Roadside landscape plants are exposed to pollutants, especially in small urban centers, which are caused by congested traffic. According to the type of landscape plants, being a good biomonitor varies according to their adsorbing capacity of pollutants. Fe and Mn are the leading pollutants originating from emissions. They are selected within the study and have various negative effects on plants in high concentrations. This study aimed to determine the Mn concentration changes according to organ and washing status and location of selected commonly used 14 landscape species in parks. The heavy metal holding capacity of 14 species used was compared the Mn concentration changed significantly depending on the factors evaluated to adsorb them. Chamaecyparis lawsoniana (A. Murr.) Parl. and Photinia serrulata Lindl. Where the highest values are obtained, they can reduce Mn pollution. In general, access to healthcare relates to the population in a given area combining the physical distance between home and the location of a healthcare facility. In the study carried out to reach the health service facilities in Kastamonu Central district, the accessible areas of the facilities within walking distance were calculated with the help of GIS at a distance of 300-500 meters with the network analysis technique. With the help of spatial analysis, it aims to determine the current situation and help plans be created to consider the needs of society.
